GREAT workout shoes. I have been for a week or more on all local stores trying to get a reliable shoe for my gym workout sessions. I bought the Nike WMNS AIR ZOOM VOMERO and am really disappointed with these. I am returning those today. Thanks to Zappos and choices, online experts helping you with description of products, I am very happy with ASICS 240TR. Once I stepped on those ASICS Gel - 240 TR , what a difference - WHAT A GREAT SHOE. It did do the job on my kickboxing class; very comfortable and great support. Please note the 240 TR model will not be fit for running. For running try ASICS 2120 or NUMBUS XII -WHICH ARE GREAT SHOES TOO. After these days experience with ASICS, I do not think I will go back to NIKE. Thank you ZAPPOS; best service, best customer service.

These are extremely comfortable. Maybe a tad larger than marked. I have come to learn that mesh is cool. But it is not so kind to my needing support for the feet. It has happened with multiple shoes, though. So I am not dinging the Asics. I ordered these shoes in 2008. So it is time for some more Asics Gels!

I really like these shoes!!!! So I have never had a bad experience with Zappos. So I ordered a half size larger than normal because of the previous reviews. I have enough room. Once I put them on I could feel the difference. I am an over pronator (flat foot). When I put these shoes on I felt more stable and felt a little taller. I like the support and am overall very satisfied with this purchase. I wore all Nikes before these but ASICS has won a new customer. I have a larger foot so it's hard to find a good shoe of any style. The shoe is not the cutest I've seen but I've also seen worse. Overall I really like these shoes!!!!

Great shoe - I am not a serious athlete, but I do exercise every day. I also have a small bunion on my right foot. This shoe is flexible, well cushioned and has lots of support. I have no pain at all.

Cute Sneakers - The overall look of my new Asics is so cute, but the first time I went running they rubbed huge blisters on the backs of my feet. Now that they are broken a little I love them. I have not tried wearing them for aerobics yet but I am sure they will be great! I am so happy I picked these shoes for my cross trainers!

Great shoe for working out! This shoe is perfect if you like a variety of work outs. I wore them for a 5K right out of the box with no breaking in required. They offer great support for step class and work well for spin class. The only minor issue I have is they are a little wide in the heel for lunges, etc and sometimes I can feel where the padded insole ends by my toes. Overall, great shoe.

Needed a trainer and wanted to try Asics. I've worn Asics running shoes for years, and injuries have me doing more studio classes, so I thought I'd give these trainers a try. The offer pretty descent lateral support without a ton of extra weight, which was a problem with some other brands. I wear orthotics, and they fit well in the shoe. Overall, a nice, mid-priced, shoe. I also tried a $120 Asics shoe in the same size, and it ran too small. Was glad to keep the lower priced pair.

Good for X-training, but not so much for walking - I had read this was a good shoe for walking, but I need more cushion in the ball of the foot. I have a neuroma and walk our 2 Boxers with my husband every morning for about 40 minutes. Good for working out (weights, squats, burpees, etc) but too stiff for longer walks. Good looking shoe. Lots of room in the toe box.

Great shoes but... I love these shoes but a couple of things. When doing cardio my feet slide forward. Otherwise it doesn't move otherwise. It is annoying but bearable. I love the way it looks although it is more metallic looking than the picture shows. Will try a different insole to see if it will help the problem, because I do like these sneakers.

Your feet will thank you! I'm overweight and needed a good shoe to support my feet when I work out. My poor feet have suffered through so much from carrying around extra weight, but when I put these shoes on, my feet were in heaven. No breaking in period, just straight away comfort. I got them in orange and silver and I think they're pretty ugly, but they do the job and I'll buy Asics again and again for sure. I thought that they were white with some silver and some orange, but they look like space shoes or something, but hey, some people are into that.

Great shoes - first time Asics purchase - I wasn't sure how I felt about purchasing athletic shoes online and I've never owned a pair of Asics. After reading the reviews I decided to take the chance and am glad I did. These are very comfortable, right out of the box. They're lightweight, breathable, and you can feel the cushion in the heel and forefoot with overall great support. Asics have moved into a trusted brand, and my next purchase will be the full leather 130 TR for a sturdier shoe.

I usually buy size 7 or 7 1/2. I had to get size 8 in this shoe because the toe-box seems small. But fortunately the 8 still fits in my heel. I'm using it for floor & step aerobics/ kickboxing style exercising.

A lot like a running shoe - I felt this shoe was a little narrower than the Asics shoes I had purchased in the past. I usually like Asics shoes because their women's shoes run wider than other brands. It looks and feels a lot like a running shoe, more than my last Asics cross-trainer. It is also quite flashy with the silver, more than what it looks like on the internet, but that makes it a fun shoe to wear. Overall, I'm satisfied with the shoe.

Asics - I really like the color of my new shoes, the comfort is pretty good also. I would buy another pair.

Have high arches? This is not the shoe for you. I have 'great' (high) arches and have encountered a number of problems since starting a mixed outdoor walking/running exercise routine. Walking in these shoes is amazing, but running is another story. It started with swollen ankles, moved knee pain and then escalated to intense pain on the top of my feet that was so bad I could hardly walk. After researching my most recent injury - I found that the answer to my problem was most likely inadequate arch support. I had no idea how huge of an effect that had on my jogging. The issue was easily solved by buying gel arch inserts. However, I won’t be purchasing another pair of Asics after these are worn out. I recommend Mizuno running shoes. They are designed with built in arch support.

What is going on with this shoe!? I LOVE Asics. I have used the 240 TR cross trainer before, and I have loved it. I went through about 3 pairs of the (ugly!) yellow/white version, so I was so excited to see a cuter version of my favorite shoes. However, I have ordered and returned (sorry, Zappos!) now 3 different pairs of this shoe. The insole keeps sliding backwards and creates a space between the end of the insole and the shoe- very uncomfortable! And this has happened in all three pairs! I never had this problem before. This is a really good-looking shoe, and when it is built properly, really supportive and comfy. I just can't handle my toes hanging off the edge of the insole in the middle of kickboxing b/c the insole slid back!! Come on Asics! :(
