Great shoe, great place to shop! After a long search for a shoe my finicky feet would like, I finally found this one. Needed to get 1/2 size larger and wider width too, but once that, they're very comfortable and gives a lot of cushion when walking. I tried 6 other times to get the right one, and each time Zappos processed the credit - no problem at all. Thank you Zappos!

No more black toes! I have a medium-to-high arch, wide forefoot, narrow heel, and a neutral foot. For years I've tried shoe after shoe looking for a runner that wouldn't give me blistered and bloody toes due to a narrow or shallow toe box. I finally realized that I needed an SL-2 lasted shoe for my type of foot. This particular neutral SL-2 shoe is the most comfortable I've ever worn. I've now bought 3 pairs and will be back for more as I wear them out. If you have a forefoot that requires a shoe with a lot of "depth", I definitely recommend this shoe. I'm so glad that New Balance makes it so easy to identify the lasts of their shoe. I wish other shoe manufacturers would do the same, but until then, I'll be buying NB shoes.

I've been wearing Nike and Ryka shoes for the last few years, but none of them are as good as this. I have high arches, a suppination problem, and I'm very heavy. This was my 2nd attempt at choosing an all purpose shoe. I made the mistake of buying a half size larger as recommended. When I returned the shoe, I chose this model instead of my first choice. I'm not a runner, I chose this for work and exercise. This shoe has really been great. My sciatica problems, knee pain, and foot cramps have all but ended. I wish I had heard of neutral cushioning years ago. It may have made a difference in my previous failed attempts at exercise.

The narrow really is narrow! This shoe runs a half size small in comparison to street shoes. I normally wear an 8 1/2, but need a 9 in this. I have very narrow feet with narrow heels and a high arch. I wear fairly thick socks with them and they are narrow enough even though I usually wear a AAA. This is the only shoe I can wear for hours at a time without torture. I am out walking the dog now and could never do that before due to foot pain. I do not pronate, I supinate. So this is great for the person who rolls in instead of out. I do have to add my own arch supports because this shoe is very flat inside. My only complaint is the color. It stands out too much with the bright red. I wish they would have gone with a more subtle gray or white/gray combination. This shoe is very lightweight with good ventilation. I am on my second pair and won't hesitate to buy it again.

Perfect - This shoe is a dream on the feet. Felt great right out of the box. No break in period at all. Nice size toe box to ensure no cramped toes during walking/jogging. Correctly sized. Mesh allows for air circulation. On top of all this, it's a VERY good looking athletic shoe. I highly recommend this shoe to anybody that wants cushion and comfort.

I can't believe it! I haven't had a shoe in 20 years that didn't hurt my pinkie toe. I have finally found it! The first pair of shoes that I have had that I don't want to take off when I walk in the door. Extra room for wide feet. Thank you!

Finally! A shoe that fits. I have hammertoes on one foot and have had a difficult time finding shoes that don't hurt. I have bought so many shoes that are supposed to have a deep toe box but they didn't--even shoes that I paid over $100 for. But this shoe is perfect! I will order another pair before NB changes it.

COMFY!! I love this shoe! I really like that I don't have to take them off all the time to get my feet to "dry out." When it's windy you can actually feel the air blowing through your shoe. It's great for running, walking etc.

Needed wide width... I like my NB 882's. For me these shoes did not require any "break in" time. I was able to lace them up, walk around my house & out the door I went. There is limited arch support but I think I could easily put a different liner in without any problem to customize the support I want. They are well made & have a rounded toe bed. Lot's of wiggle room there. These are "cute" shoes with jeans, capris & scrubs. Maybe NB would consider some other "color" options - all white, or like these but with dark navy accent. ***Zappos REALLY delivers with their next day shipping promise. I ordered EARLY-just after midnight on a Thursday and received my order Friday later afternoon...Thanks for keeping your promise. I'd not hesitate to order again from Zappos & already suggested Zappos to friends and family members!!

WR882 - I am pleased to be able to buy a shoe to accommodate my high arches with a deep and wide toe box. At first I thought the shoe was too big, but that is only because I've never had such a well-fitting shoe before.

Hit the ground running - Perfect comfort right from the very first. This shoe has plenty of room for a wide foot with a high instep. The shoe is also lightweight which adds to the comfort.

Hard to fit feet that supinate - I appreciated being able to find shoes for the supinator by doing a search on your site. In addition to neutral support shoes, my shoes need to be wide and big enough to accomodate heavy orthotics--all in a size 6 or 6.5. These shoes fit the bill. I have always found that new balance shoes are best for my feet.

It was time to upgrade! I ordered these NB 882's to replace my 881's. The replacement was long overdue. A NB salesperson fitted me for a pair of the 881's last year because I asked for a deeper toe box. You will not be disappointed with the 882's if you're looking for a new pair. I forget over the months of use how great a new pair of NB sneaks feel. These have great support and cushioning around the ankle. I have the narrow ankle and wider toe span the shoe is made to fit, so these feel great. I also have a high arch, so a little more support there would be nice, but these offer more than adequate support all around and get me through my workouts with ease. Oh, and don't be afraid of the "cranberry." It's not as shockingly red in person. If you're looking for something with a little more arch support and to help with supernating (feet turning out), check out the NB 767. I've had those, too, but the toe area is snug. I needed the deeper toe box of the 882 more.

Great for wide feet!!! Finally, my toes have wiggle room. The mesh in front allows my feet to breathe. Recently I have had neuromas and other issues around the balls of my feet. I walk, run, spin, and do just plain aerobics in these. Thanks Zappos for always coming through!!

Wonderful shoe - This is a fantastic shoe. It accommodates my orthotics without having to remove the insert; it has mesh where the bunion is on my foot, so NOTHING RUBS THE BUNION!!! I am walking on air!

Excellent comfort!!! I have a wide foot, with a lot of problems. The toe box is nice and wide, doesn't feel tight on the toes - even with my orthotics! The collar is so soft, and the insole is extra cushioned. Love them!!

Like walking on air - I have never reviewed any of the numerous shoes I have bought from ZAPPOS… until today. I am a nurse on my feet all day and recently have had numerous problems with plantar fasciitis - getting cortisone injections every two weeks, orthotics, physical therapy, etc. These shoes are amazing. Comfortable, room for my orthotics, etc. I'm telling you, even though I am a die hard NB fan, these are the most comfortable I've worn. I bought another NB (WW792) along with these and I'm going to send them back as they are not as comfortable as these.

Great Shoes! These shoes have the best fit I have wider feet and have never found a pair of shoes that fit me well, until now. They are so comfortable that I wear them around the house all day! I'll definitely buy another pair when these wear out.

New Balance WR 992 - My wife found this shoe to be great for her - she has an older pair she bought locally. Your price was the same as the local price, but they didn't have the shoe in stock. The Zappos order got here faster than the local store could get the shoes.

NB 882's are wonderful! I needed a width of 2E and New Balance 882's were available in my size! It's a great looking shoe, and more importantly, it is so very comfortable.

I love these shoes!!! I needed new running shoes and was hesitant to purchase online but after reading the positive reviews for this shoe I decided to order. I placed my order on Wed night...by Thurs afternoon I had the shoes. I have run in them several times and they are a lightweight shoe...lots of cushion. I had some other New Balance shoes that would cut my ankles when I would run...not these!!! Just positive stuff here!!! I will definitely buy these again.

Good looking shoe that is comfortable for problem feet. It has taken me several orders to find the comfortable and good looking shoe for my problem feet. I have a bunion on my left foot and my right foot is 4 months post bunionectomy surgery and still recovering and sensitive to pressure and walking. New Balance WR882 is "The Shoe," it has cranberry and silver trim with white mesh that is jazzy looking and comfortable. The toe box is rounded and roomy and does not put pressure on any of my toes, which is very important to me. The shoe has good support and is well cushioned; my narrow heel fits well in this shoe. I wish there were many colors to choose from in this style, I would purchase another pair. My daughter told me about Zappos and suggested I try ordering on line. She was right in her praise of Zappos. I now love Zappos, they are the best.

Super sneaks! I love these sneakers. I have always been a New Balance fan anyway, but these are just perfect. I had no "break-in" period at all with these...they were comfy right from the get-go. Moderate arch support, beefed-up outside edge support...just what I needed. The only thing I was somewhat surprised by was the very constructed toe...but it's actually great because it keeps the shape of the toe box firm and gives your toes plenty of room to do their thing. All the information Zappos provides about the shoes themselves really helped me get the perfect pair the very first time. I will definitely be back for more!

Nice shoe - I have been in New Balance for years; recently veered away into Ryka. What a mistake. My Plantar Fasciitis flared up after a few months in Ryka. Am back to my trusted New Balance. These are the best shoes for me. I have wide feet and need orthotics. With this shoe I was able to take them out of the box and hit the ground "walking". No need to break them in. Another nice feature is the mesh inserts it cools my feet down. I also have to add Zappos rocks...ordered these on Monday and had them on my doorstep Tuesday afternoon. Way to go!!!

Great shoes! After New Balance discontinued the 880s, I thought I would never find another comfortable running shoe. This is great! Glad I found it.
