Wonderfully constructed & supportive boots! These are incredible boots! I have a narrow foot with a high arch and these boots provide my foot with the support it needs. The arch support is most EXCELLENT! I also need ankle support and they have that too. They are out of the box comfortable -- They are padded in all the right places and then some more! Don't hesitate to buy them.

Comfortable footbed but irritates ankles - My company just recently instituted safety toes. These have a lightweight metal in toe so you don't have the "heavy feeling." The footbed is very comfortable. I stand/walk on cement for 8+ hours a day. The one complaint I have is where the seams are on the ankle part of the boot irritate the inside of my ankle on the bone. I'm hoping this will disappear in time and that is a break in issue. I like boots with lots of room in the toe and this boot has that. They have a waterproof membrane within to keep water out. As with any boot of this nature, sometimes your feet get a bit overheated, especially if you’re moving around a lot. Overall I like the boot and would recommend it.

If these are the "wide" width, I'd hate to see the mediums. It hurt to try to squeeze my foot into these boots; just looking at them, I could tell they weren't going to fit. Also, there is a horizontal band of some sort around the heel that rubbed badly on my heel as I took some steps. These boots look good, but boy were they uncomfortable.

Wonderful - These boots fit true to size. I ordered 1/2 a size larger, but I probably did not need to do so. Sometimes the toe box on shoes and boots is not large enough for my toes, but I think this one would have been fine in my normal size. And the service was wonderful also. I ordered them on Friday and received them on Monday.

These boots are so comfortable and lightweight that when I tried them on I ended up wearing them the rest of the day. Great cushioning and support for my problem feet. I was able to wear them for several long days in a row without finding any sore spots or foot fatigue. They are definitely waterproof, too. Don't care for the chocolate brown color, but they are work boots and great work boots at that.

Very Comfortable boot - I found this boot to be very comfortable and stylish. These boots are not bulky looking and they are not a heavy feeling boot. I can walk all day and my feet are not tired. My only complaint is they scuff easily.

The quality of the shoe if very nice. The issue I had was comfort on my toes. Although I ordered 7.5 Wide, it was still 'not' wide enough for my toes. I am unable to wear the shoes as on both feet the pinky toes hurt for constant walking on the job. I average about 25k to 36k steps a day. I work in a warehouse. In addition, both feet the big toe has so much friction from the shoe that they are now numb. In short the front of the shoe is 'not' wide enough for the comfort of toes. I am sad I am unable to wear daily these cute shoes for work. I was only able to wear 3 times.

I have been wearing steel toed boots for over two decades and these are hands down, the most comfortable boots that I've had on my feet!

Probably the best out of the box and long day comfort. Tried many other cheaper and fashionable work boots. These are always my go-to boots for hiking, working, walking, and even bad weather. Easily my 4th or 5th pair. I resist throwing them out as just-in-case backups.

I am happy that I found this pair of boots, it just made for my small but wide toes. I usually ordered size 6 for boots and 5. 5 for other types of shoes but I'm glad I ordered 5.5 and it fits well I am also glad that I ordered the extra wide and my feet doesn't have any pain at all all. I developed a bunion on my right toe, because of my wide toes and now I am very careful of making sure of wearing wide width and forget about fashionable look. This pair is great for working, walking and it is very comfy. I like it also because it's water proof. I like Timberland now, and will order again, from Timberland. I RECOMMEND THIS, definitely!

I love these boots - this is probably my fourth pair. They always are comfortable from the very first day out of the box. I wear heavy socks with them, so get them a half size larger than I normally would wear.

I have gotten this style and size in the past ( still had the box ) but these did not fit at all so I had to send them back and have to wait for a refund before I can afford different work boots. After only having them on less than a minute my feet started hurting. I have been buying this brand for many years which is why I was very disappointed by this.

This is a very comfy and durable boot that has a good price point. There is a lot of room in the toe area and they're pretty light feeling compared to other brands that I've tried. My first pair lasted me two years working in cement and I think they'd last for even longer than that. I only got a new pair since I have a work boot stipend at a new job. I'm on my feet most of the day and spilled a lot of dust, slurry, and water on my boots and didn't have any problems.

I wear these for work (flight line mechanic). Steel toes are required. I walk miles every night, so comfort and durability are important to me. Also, I walk on some pretty nasty slippery surfaces (think sheet metal covered in hydraulic fluid) and the slip resistant/oil resistant rating is no BS. This is my third pair. They usually last me a couple years before the belts are showing. I recommend these to anyone who needs a solid work boot.

I was a truck driver when I purchased these boots. A local vendor was at a facility we were picking up from. This was 4 years ago. Have been having a terrible time with plantar fasciitis and these are the only shoes that my feet feel good in. I wear them 10 hours a day for work. My feet feel great even when it's 100 degrees. For casual shoes I have merrell and kuru (for plantar fasciitis) and both kill my feet. Unfortunately I can't always wear your boots. Lol. Wish you made something like these in a casual run around shoe.

My Boots fit really well. You just need boot socks, thin-socks. I really like my Boots! Would recommend them to anyone! Thanks, Zappos!

Comfortable with moderate arch support; keeps feet dry and warm with no rubbing against heals or toes; alloy toe is lightweight and makes for an easier trek and or run through terrain than steel or composite toe; good traction on wet and or slippery surfaces but still proceed with caution on any weathered surface; dainty not bulky, color and style appropriate for outdoors hiking or indoors socializing.

Aside the outstanding style and safety of this pair of work shoes, the fit of the sizing seems smaller and narrower.

I perform poultry inspection in a cold, wet, and slippery workplace. These boots are great for those conditions. I stand quite often and I haven't experienced any discomfort as of yet. The only complaint that I have is the weight of the boots on my scrawny legs, of course that could just be a personal problem. I will buy these boots again once these are worn out!!! Oh, and if your feet are not truly wide, please buy the normal width boots (big mistake that I made (buying wide), too much room).

I could not even get them on enough to feel how the support/shape/ comfort etc. was. They were a half-full size smaller fitting. Ordered several different brands of boots to try out for new steel toes and these were tiny in comparison. Bummer

The new soles are not as soft/comfortable as the older ones with the gray in them. The finish looks like it has a plastic film on it that is starting to peel (on the toe) in less than a week of wearing. And they weight 5oz. more, per boot, that the older model. Even though the website says they weigh approx 1lb 4oz, per boot, mine weigh in at 1lb 9oz. That's a big difference in the feel.
