Good work shoe for standing on cement floor for 8 hours. Also like to wear with jeans in winter. They stand up to the snow.

When I bought this same shoe 9 years ago, I bought a size 8 1/2 medium. Needing to (finally) replace them, I purchased the same size only to find that they fit differently now. I ended up with a size 9 wide and they even feel tight. I'm sure they will loosen up as I break them in. This shoe has been indispensible for me for the last 9 years and I'm looking forward to another decade with these!

This shoe was comfortable right out of the box. No break in period required! Nice rounded toe.

I owned this pair of shoes for 10 years and loved them. A great fall/winter rugged shoe. Had a blowout last weekend and was worried about finding a comparable pair of shoes. Getting ready to order my second pair and contemplating ordering 2 pairs just in case Eastland stops making the shoe.

These shoes are great! I have problem feet...and I am on my feet a lot at work. These shoes needed no breaking in, they are comfortable the moment I put them on and continue to be until I take them off hours later. They look great under pants. A nice soft leather shoes with a lot of support. I bought them in W width and they fit true to size for me. Very comfortable.

I love Eastland shoes and wore out the last pair, so I purchased these as a replacement. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box and look great dressed up or dressed down. When I purchased these I thought they may be "clunky", but that is not the case. They have a slim profile and actually make my feet look smaller!

This is my second pair of Newports. I wear them almost daily in my health profession. They are also not hideous so I can wear them when I am outside of work and do not want to do the sneakers and jeans look, but wish to remain casual.

These shoes are so comfortable right out of the box. I ordered a wide to accommodate socks this winter. Great that the width is available.

The shoe was comfortable when first placed on my feet. I suffer ingrown toe nails. However, in these shoes I can wear them all day long without feeling any pressure or pain. WHAT A RELIEF!!!

This is a terrific shoe if you wear a uniform. I\'m on my feet six hours a day, and it\'s completely comfortable right out of the box. I got a pair of Nurse Mates previously, but didn\'t like them as well because they had a pebbled texture that doesn\'t shine well. These shoes take a good spit shine.

This is my 4th pair of Newport shoes. They are really comfortable and wear well. I couldn\'t find my size on Eastland\'s website, but found them here and was happy with the easy ordering and quick arrival.

This is my second pair of these well-made comfortable shoes. I wear them when I fly, as they are so easy to slip off and on for security checks. The leather is top quality and if you polish them will look almost new as long as you own them. Very well-cushioned shoe. After 8 years of heavy use, I finally cracked the rubber soles, but was frantic until I found them on Zappos. Thank you Zappos!

First of all I have to say that Zappos is the best on-line shopping I have ever experienced. The selection, the quality of products, the free shipping (both ways and their friendly staff if you ever need to call them. I bought the Eastland Newport for work shoes. I have a high arch and inset and I wear a size 7.5. I ordered the wides because sometimes I can wear a regular width with this type of shoe, but they felt snug. So I returned them and ordered the EE width and they are just too wide and flop around on my feet. However I have worn them now and I can't return them. I probably should have kept the regular wide width and let them stretch a bit. It's not Zappos fault, but these shoes just didn't work out for me. However they do seem to be a good quality shoe and look good with jeans.

I am an E.R. nurse, 12 hours on my feet at a time, and these shoes are so comfortable. Plus easy to clean and no worries about all the stains you come in contact with, but order 1/2 size larger.

These are the best shoes I have ever bought. I am currently on my second pair and will buy again when they wear out, which is pretty hard to do. I am always in jeans chasing after two boys all day long, so these are my main shoe. They are also extremely warm. My feet are always cold, but no matter how cold it is outside my feet stay nice and warm. The soles don't wear out and the leather looks as nice as it did 2 years ago when I bought them. Would definitely recommend!

First of all, I love Zappos.com. The service is impeccable! My order arrived within 2 days of placing it. And I am thrilled with my new Eastland Newports. I work a full-time job and also part-time in retail, so I am often on my feet for long hours at a time. I needed a nice-looking career shoe with great arch support, or that I would be able to put my arch supports in. I've had these shoes for more than a month now and haven't even had to think about putting my arch supports in them. I wear them at least 5-6 days per week, sometimes up to 17 hours a day. They have plenty of support and have been easy to break in. And they were comfortable from the first time I wore them. They look great with dress pants, khakis and jeans. These shoes were replacements for a similar styled shoe I purchased at Zappos.com about 2 1/2 years ago that were just worn out. I recommend Eastland Newports to anyone who is looking for a reasonably-priced shoe that offers support, comfort and style.

Extremely comfortable & fairly stylish for casual attire, especially jeans. As comfortable as my favorite running shoes, which is saying a lot! My husband even thinks they are cute. I love Zappos!

I'm so glad to have the opportunity to recommend these Eastland Newports to others because they are the most comfortable shoes I've worn! True! I have a long wide foot (12 wide) and have such a hard time finding shoes so I love Zappos because they show shoes I never heard about. The first day they came I wore them around the house and kept them on until I went to bed. Amazing. The length was perfect as was the width. I ordered brown to go with a brown casual outfit and now I see they'll go great with jeans also. I think anyone looking for this type of shoe should at least try them. They are extremely comfortable and look great. Thanks (once again) Zappos. They arrived the day after I ordered them; you can't beat that!

Most comfortable shoes - I love the color, style and comfort. I walk a lot and end up kicking off the shoes when I get a chance to sit, but I don't have to do that with these shoes.

Basic Comfy Shoe - If you are looking for a basic, comfortable shoe that will absorb the shock of pavement, try these. The sole is thick and made for walking. They accommodate orthotics well. Fit true to size.

Excellent shoes - I have always had trouble finding shoes that fit me and I always spent as little as possible on myself. It was suggested by a friend that I try Zappos to see if they had what I could wear. I tried and I got 8 w and it was perfect. I ordered a second pair and they didn't have that size but did have a 7.5 – ww. Got them and they fit perfect. I put them on and wore them all day at my job where I am on my feet a lot. Fit like a glove. Perfect. I ordered again but couldn't find same as I had so ordered and got wrong fit. I returned it for free. That was great. Ordered one morning and had shoes by next day. Unbelievable.
