Great pair of shoes! These fit right out of the box. No breaking in needed.

Nice walking shoe - This is an excellent walking shoe. Every foot is different and I liked the Asic's GT-2110 better. The shoes feel entirely different and this Gel Kayano feels good, but the GT-2110 feels GREAT!.I tried one left foot of the GT-2110 and one foot of the Gel Kayano and both feet told me the GT-2110 is the best one. Doing that helps you decide, especially if you have different problems on each foot.

Very comfortable - I ordered these at 11:30 pm and they were delivered the next afternoon. They are very comfortable. I have a hard time finding shoes that fit, and I'm on my feet all day, 12-14 hours at work, so I need good support, comfort, and wide width. These are great!

Disappointed - I am a huge fan of Asics, but these were not a good style for me. I agree with another review that said it is too high in the back. I wore it around the house for 1/2 hour and already had a blister on my heel. And I don't like the leather front-I prefer the mesh with more give.

Nice shoe - I like the look of this shoe and it is true-to-size. The only thing that I wish was different is the back of the shoe, above the heel, is a bit too high for my comfort.

ASICS Loyal Customer - I'm a loyal Asics wearer, and the shoes tend to run about 1/2 size small. I'm a 9 in just about every other shoe, but always order 9 1/2 in Asics. These are very lightweight - not the best support - so I hope they hold up over time. The back seems to come up higher than usual, so I'm getting used to that. I have a medium-to-wide foot, and the medium fits well. Love Asics and will continue to wear.

Comfy but small - I've worn women's size 8 Asics for years, but when looking for new walking/cross shoes this time I had to go to a wide 9. This shoe is still a little snug in the toe box (hoping that will work out), but over all it's very comfortable, light, sturdy, well made, and good looking. I'll stay with Asics, but they don't seem to fit like they used to.

Walker 6 - I like the shoe a lot, but had originally wanted the older version with the mesh on top of the toes. This shoe is fine, but it does get too warm at times, maybe will be better in colder weather. This is the only thing I would caution about.

Nice walking shoes - very light - I have very bad foot and leg problems, and am constantly searching for shoes. These shoes are some of the better ones I've found. They are VERY lightweight, and provide decent arch support. However, I feel the padding on the bottom is a little sparse - for good padding, I suggest New Balance tennis shoes. Also, I'm not completely crazy about the "metallic" sheen to the silver - this is very hard to see in the picture - I prefer a more traditional material. Overall, though, these shoes are pretty good, and I am very picky. I wear them with my custom orthotics.

Great shoes, but hard to break in - I have finally just started really enjoying these shoes. They're great, but were tough to break in.

A fine all around shoe. I purchased this shoe for all around wear, housework, walking, errands, and hope also to use them for my 45 min. 2x a week strength training workout. I needed something a little more supportive than sandals for all day wear. The shoes work fine for everything except the strength training. The raised area at the back of the heel digs into my Achilles tendon when I do my lunges and they do not have a lot of lateral support. However they were designed as a walking shoe and they excel at that.

A new Asics and Zappos customer - When I first put them on, they felt like a wonderful broken-in sneaker and loved them. I don't think of myself as a "wide" width, but I also tried the Asics Gel-Kayano Trainer in regular width - they were too tight and don't come in a wide width. Love the pearl white and chocolate combination. I've gotten lots of compliments when I wear them. Nice design. I wanted a change - since I always bought New Balance in the past. Great service and advice from Zappos!

Lightweight - The shoes are very lightweight which is nice, but I do like more cushioning in the bottom. An easy shoe to wear. I prefer the New Balance, but the shoes are really not in the same category.

Walking Shoes - These shoes are good. They seem to be taking a little time to break in, but overall I am pleased.

Almost perfect - Left top heel of shoe is uncomfortable and presses into Achilles tendon. I tried to go up a half size, but they were too big. I kept my first pair and just stretched out the heel area before wearing them; the right shoe fits perfect. Other than the left heel, they are great!

Very light weight shoe - This shoe has no orthotic support after being worn a couple of times. Left shoe has hard spot in the toe area.

Good walking shoe - I ordered this shoe to replace a pair that I have had for 6 years. At first I thought they were too hard in the foot bed for me, but after walking in them for a bit they are fine.

Just not comfortable - Although these shoes felt true to size, I found that they were just not comfortable. There is very little padding which is a problem since I have Plantar Fasciitis. Even with my orthotics and my gel insoles, my heel was in constant pain in these shoes. I can't imagine trying to walk my 3 miles a day in these shoes. Zappos service is amazing. I ordered these shoes around 1:00am on a Saturday morning. They were at my door by 2:00pm on Monday. Thanks to their generous return time, I was able to keep these for awhile and try them again when my foot was getting better and my heel didn't hurt as much. Even then the shoes were not comfortable, but Zappos is #1 on my list.

A lot of money for "just ok"- After walking about 20 miles in these shoes, I'd rate them as just ok. Not enough cushion in the ball and I got my first blister (after 140 training miles) today on the back of my foot after just 4 miles. It's also difficult to get past how ugly they are (I got the white ones). I've loved several pairs of Asics GT-2120s. Thought I'd try this walker because I'm doing the 3-Day 60-mile walk in November. Disappointed overall. Wish I could return them. My next pair of walkers will be the Brooks Addiction.

Disappointed - These shoes seemed great when I wore them around the house. But I wore them to work (hospital, cement base floors) for ten hours and my bunions were inflamed! They are too long, at least 1/2 size too big. And the support was not as good as I have found in other Asics. These were not for my poor flat feet with bunions. Never again! Waste of a lot of money.

Disappointed! I loved the Gel-Kayano Walker V with the mesh upper. I got the white Walker 6 and it has a lot more leather, making for a much warmer shoe and a dowdy appearance. The toe box is also a little snugger, perhaps due to the leather, and it seems to be taking awhile to "break in". The fit is still better than other brands of walking shoes I've tried, though. I may try the brown version next -- it looks like it has more mesh on the upper.

Support lasted 2 weeks - I have never had a more worthless shoe and it’s not cheap! This shoe is reported to have a great amount of support which it did for about 2 weeks. The shoes after a couple of months actually made my feet hurt.

Painfully high achilles tendon protector - The shoes seemed fine at home, but once I started my outdoor walking routine, I soon discovered that these shoes have an unusually high (and stiff!) achilles tendon area. I now have persistent blisters on both achilles tendons, which never happened with other athletic shoes. This shoe was a very expensive mistake for me.
