Love my Keens but found this style too narrow especially in the toes. My width size is a B. Too bad - loved the color and style!

Highly Recommended - These are the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever worn. They are also very lightweight for hiking shoes which is very nice. I ordered a half size bigger than my normal size. They are a little big, but are okay if I wear super thick socks. I think if I'd ordered my regular size though they would have been too small.

Great shoes! I was looking for a pair of waterproof hiking shoes to wear to all of my boys' football games. They are great! They are very comfortable, from the first time I wore them. Fun, sporty, and very useful. Had to order a half size up.

These shoes have been very comfortable for daily wear and urban hikes; I have yet to try them on the trail. I've had trouble getting the laces just right, since they cinch over the highest part of my foot, but that is a minor issue and will just take time for the shoe to conform to my foot. As with all Keen's (this is my third pair) I highly recommend them.

Great Shoe!! I do a lot of walking, but have found that a "walking shoe" does not have as much support under the ball of my foot as I would like, so decided to try a light hiking type shoe. I love them; they give me the support I wanted. I normally wear an 8-8 1/2, but needed to go to a size 9, run a little small. I love shopping at Zappos because it is never a problem to return a shoe for another size, and I don't have to pay the postage.

Great for Hiking - I love this shoe for hiking or just chillin'. The most comfortable hiking shoe I've ever worn. My feet never get tired in these. I wear the Targhee 1/2 size larger than my usual size.

Love these shoes - worth the money! I bought these based on all the fantastic reviews, and I was not disappointed. They were far more comfortable than the other pair (Columbia) I ordered for comparison. I can't wait to wear them walking around in NYC this winter since they are water proof. I needed a FULL size larger - so be sure to order larger than your regular size.

Perfect shoes! These are the latest model in the Keen Targhee line. They are THE most comfortable and stylish hiker I've ever owned (and I've owned a few). I have flat feet and these shoes make me feel like I'm walking on air! I wear them to run errands and have gotten many compliments on them! I'm leaving for the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone tomorrow morning and these shoes are gonna rack up a lot of trail miles! BUY THEM -- you won't be sorry! Get a half size larger than usual and wear thick socks for even more comfort!

Major Keen fan! This is my fifth pair of Keen's. Am headed to east Africa on safari this winter. Needed some sturdy hiking shoes for this adventure. Knew that I could count on a pair of Keen's to fill my needs. These are the shoes that will take me across Kenya and Tanzania!

Definitely order a 1/2 size up! This shoe is awesome. It looks great in person and is very comfortable right out of the box. I normally wear a 6.5 or 7, so I thought a 7 would be fine, but I actually needed a 7.5. I never wear a 7.5 either! Definitely take the advice of all the other reviews and order a 1/2 size up.

Wow, what a shoe! I just got back from a trip to Alaska, these shoes were my main walking, traveling, fishing, exploring shoe and they did great! From day one, my feet were dry, warm, and comfortable, what more could you ask for? This is my second pair of Keens and I love them!

I've finally found my "sole" mate! Best shoe I've ever worn. I stand or walk on concrete all day at work and suffer various aches and pains. The superior support on the entire foot helps dramatically with this. Even at the end of the day there's plenty of cushion left on the bottom of the shoe, as if I just put them on. I can't wait to try them on a long hike. I will DEFINITLY be ordering another pair very soon!

Great Shoes! I bought these shoes for a trip to Alaska and wore them everywhere for 2 weeks. They were comfortable right out of the box. Not too heavy or clunky. Good wide toe box. Great waterproofing - never a problem keeping my feet dry in any circumstances. With warm socks I'm sure they'll also work well in the winter as for keeping my feet warm and dry. Great find!

Keen Shoes - The most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. No break-in required and feels like I'm walking on a wonderful cushion. I read all the reviews and did not have to return a single pair. I have ordered 8 pairs from Zappos within one month. All other brands are at the back of my closet collecting dust.

Great for people always on the move. More support, comfort and style than any other "athletic shoe" I've had. You won't be disappointed.

Paddle foot - I bought my first pair of Keen's at a local store and fell instantly in love. I immediately went to the Zappos site to see if I could find more. When I saw the Targhee, I had to order them. The customer reviews said they run small, and the pair I had bought already was a 10, even though I wear an 8-1/2W or 9M-W. I ended up needing the 10, so I recommend buying a full size (or more) up if you have any doubt at all. I tried the 9-1/2 first, but it wouldn't have allowed me to wear socks any thicker than THIN, and I wanted them for winter wear, too. These shoes have incredible cushioning inside, fit perfectly, don't chafe or rub anywhere, and look GREAT. I can't wait to wear them all day every day in Iceland this summer. I originally ordered just the 9-1/2 to save Zappos shipping of one returned pair, and then I needed to exchange it. THEY WERE INCREDIBLE - SHIPPED THE 10 NO CHARGE…I am so loyal. Zappos is amazing.

These are AWESOME shoes! I just bought mine last week. I bought the Moss color--they are very, very cute. No problem with not being over my ankles. I love the flexibility. I wore them on an 8 mile hike yesterday, without even breaking them in! And they were awesome. I have no foot pain at all, no blisters. They feel like a walking massage. They're great quality, very well made, and the arch support is just great. These shoes cost, but they are worth every penny. There is no price to having your feet intact after a hike! Buy them! I bought a half size up and they fit perfectly.

Keen Targhee - I have never spent so much money on shoes. Now that I have I will never go back to the types. This shoe has been comfortable from the first time I put them on. I would have thought I had them for years. They are great shoe!

The best - Love them. Order 1 whole size up and they are perfect...no blisters...comfy, very comfy.

Great winter shoe - The Targhee is waterproof and very warm, which is great for my perpetually cold feet. It's a bit stiff, but very cushy and has good arch support, so I can wear it all day standing on a concrete floor and feel comfortable. I'm not sure how this shoe will be in the summer, whether it will breathe enough or not, but I love it right now!

We love Keens!! I bought a pair of the Keen Targhees for my boyfriend and a pair for myself. I have 4 other pair of Keens that I absolutely love as well. My boyfriend is an avid outdoorsman - from sailing and mountain biking to backpacking & camping. He was looking for a good pair of hiking shoes and was impressed with the Keens that I wear when I am outdoors with him. So, seeing how much he really could use a pair of Keens, I got him a pair of the Keen Targhees for Christmas. He was immediately amazed at how comfortable they were - he commented on how durable the soles are and that he couldn't feel every rock through his shoes that he stepped on like he did with his previous shoes. He also loved the toe protection and felt that the shoes provided great support and foot protection. He put them to the test over 2 rugged backpacking trips - one of those trips he got rained on. He came home and raved about the performance of his new Keens and said that the shoes get an A+!! I love my Keen Targhees too. On our most recent hike my shoes got completely muddy. I came home and rinsed them off with the hose, they were completely dry in 15 minutes and they look like new again. They are super comfortable and give great support. I always get bruised toes from steep downhill hiking. I tested these shoes on our recent hike and for the first time my toes were not bruised and sore at the end of the hike. I recommend these shoes to everyone! I can't say enough about them! The Targhees are a little bit narrower than my other Keens. I did order both pairs one size larger than our normal sizes and they fit us both perfectly, so I would recommend going up 1 size.

Comfortable! Hot! I love these shoes. They fit perfectly. Super comfortable. I bought them amidst a snow/ice storm in Massachusetts recently and they do the perfect job for walking around on icy spots. Never had any problems with blisters. I wear size 9 and my foot is kind of wide and these did great!

Keens- I love my Keens. I haven't worn the Targhee hiking yet, but so far they are quite comfortable. The sole is a bit stiff and hopefully the shoe will bend with my foot more after I've broken them in a bit more.

Hortensia purple color is exceptionally grand, as well as the comfort. I now have several pairs of Keens and am very happy with them. Feels like a foot massage as you walk.

Super-comfy! From on-my-feet at work to hiking in the Columbia River gorge, these shoes have been perfect for Portland climate and lifestyle! Waterproof - check (and most necesary)! Good cusioning with great arch support - check! Cool look - check! When I tried them, I kept in mind that they run small, but my normal size 7.5 felt fine, and 8 felt too big. I have found that they feel a little cramped towards the front if I don't lace them snugly, but as long as they're reasonably tightened the fit is perfect. After a month and a half, a couple of stitches started coming out on the toe end of one, so I returned them for a fresh pair, which fit as well as the originals. I do expect to keep them for years, as they're certainly not cheap - and so suggest that you buy from a retailer where it is easy to return/exchange them if anything goes wrong. Hopefully the stitching pulling out was a fluke!
