Great looking shoe; can be worn with dress pants or jeans. My grandson likes that they "look like big boy's" shoes. Nice leather.

Comfy shoes, true to size. Great for school uniforms. A good balance between dress/play shoes.

I'm not sure what happened with the reviewer who posted on 11/01/12, but my son, who tends to be brutal on his uniform shoes, wore these throughout the last school year and, when I went to check the size to order the next size up for this year, I was amazed at how great they look. Five years of buying him and his brother black school shoes, different ones each year and these have held up the best and were the most comfortable. Unfortunately, they don't have them in his size now, but I am getting his younger brother a pair.

Nice looking shoe, but beware! They squeak so loud! I got my son a size 6 and we figured after wearing them a few times they'd stop squeaking, but they got worse! We had to send them back and try something else. They seriously were the loudest shoes I've ever heard! Kind of hilarious.

We bought these shoes for our son's kindergarten uniform. Within two months the heels of the soles were almost completely destroyed and the toes ripped open. We would not recommend them. For the price they are terrible quality.

Bought these for my 3rd grade son. They look good, fit well, true to size. He loves them. Husband polished them the other day and is a little worried about how long they will last. Time will tell, but are great so far.

The tongue of this shoe is positioned so that it digs straight into the ankle. My son was in pain the second he put them on. They fit great, other than that. Sadly, they have to go back.
