Vans Authentic are great shoes. They're comfortable and lite. They do tend to wear out quick if you put a lot of miles on them very quickly.

I bought these shoes for my 17 year old son. He loves them. They replaced another pair of Vans that lasted over a year on a teenager. If I can get away with spending a lot for a year of use, we have a winner. Plus, they look great! And, of course, Zappos delivers every time. Thank you for showing the world how to do internet retail sales. Under-promise, over-deliver. Works every time it's tried.

Very comfortable right out of the box. Nice soft leather. They look good with jeans and shorts. If you're looking for a neat, leather tennis shoes, I would definitely recommend these.

Cool! These shoes unleash my inner urban chic. They aren't super comfortable, but I walk the city in these and I'm fine. Purple and sparkles...nothing beats that.

Good, durable, shoe that's fun to wear without socks and when I'm kicking it on the beach. I've had them for two months and they still look almost exactly how they did out of the box.

Just when you thought you've seen every available variation of the Vans 'Authentic' skate shoe, along comes a version in soft Italian leather. Very spiffy and classy, especially in white.

Great looking shoe. Some other reviews said it felt small, but to me the size 10 feels a little bigger if anything, but not enough to make me send them back. Overall I'm quite happy with the shoe and the service and they came on the day predicted and the free shipping was nice.

A classic model with classic colors that compliment many outfits. Great for skating, but uncomfortable for walking since I have a high arch. Rubber sole retains its grip after many heel drags.

Vans are a great traditional shoe and simple clean style that allows you to make the shoe versatile. There is no major shoe support or arch, but a great simple and clean walking shoe to enjoy. I would buy these again at this price!

I'm a big fan of Vans. They are comfortable and stylish. I gave them a 4 star overall, only because they are a little tight with a sock.

We love these Vans - stylish and fun. Only problem was they seemed to run at least one size too big, very roomy. Otherwise, very nice.

My main complaint about this shoe is that the heel of my foot hurts after a day of wearing them. It's kinda an unusually trait for a tennis shoe.

Soles weren't comfortable, a little lovin' from Dr. Scholl's fixed that in a jiffy. These were awesome shoes for a year afterward. My favorites. I ordered 13s and they were true to size, problem is I just realized I'm a 13.5 on my left pod...and my toe is poking through the canvas. A shame, but definitely not the shoe's fault.

Got mine in Nine Iron Suede today. I ordered a size 9 and it seems about a half size big. Might be a good idea to get them a little smaller. Vans are very nice shoes.

These shoes are comfy and look great with jeans! They don't have any arch support, so I wouldn't recommend them if that's what you're looking for.

This was our 2nd pair because the first pair got a hole in the toe after only being worn 4 or 5 times. But Zappos was great and shipped out a new pair immediately. The new pair is perfect and has no problems!

Overall the shoes are great! They fit comfortably from the first time I tried them on, something that hasn\'t happened to me with other Vans shoes. I love the color and the style. Be aware that these are shoes made out of thin cloth and are very basic, but the construction is solid. For so cheap you can\'t go wrong!

These are great! They weren't comfortable at first but became more so with more wear. They are not super comfortable but are just right for daily activities. I did have to send the first pair back because they were too small. I ordered the next half size up and they are perfect.

I have had 3 pairs of this same shoe. They last less than 5 months before getting holes in the canvas. I like the fit and the look, but the material always breaks apart above the toe and on the side. I could deal with it but now they just cost so much. The price is ridiculous for something that will start to fall apart in a matter of months. I'm trying the Old Skool Core Classics by Vans, they seem to be more durable.

The color was much brighter then it appears online and the canvas was a bit stiff at first. They are breaking in nicely offering pretty good arch support for this type of shoe.

I have wide width feet and I knew Vans didn't sell any wide width shoes. I knew it was stupid, but I bought a pair anyway. I told myself, "Even if it doesn't fit, I can just return it or give it as a gift". But when I received the package in the mail, I tried them on and they fit! I'm so happy, I wear them all the time now. They look great (material wasn't what I expected, but I still liked it) and they're quite comfortable, albeit the fact that they don't give much arch support.

Nice light casual shoe. Wearing them as I right this, and can barely feel them on my feet. Very basic older design of Van\'s, don\'t expect a ton of arch support, but an inexpensive insole from the local drug store will cure that.\r\n\r\nOverall nice style and comfort.

The black on black design is great for people that want a shoe to match everything, but still stand out more than plain black shoes. The black on black checkerboard pattern is more subtle than the classic black and white, but the idea is still there. They are very comfortable and fit true to size. I think they look better after they acquire a worn in look.

I love these shoes. :D But I love Vans Slip Ons better. These shoes are really comfy and cute though. But I would highly recommend Vans Slip Ons. They're easier to put on, super cute and all that other fun and dandy stuff. (:
