My friend recommended that most importantly, I find a pair of really sturdy boots for living in Russia for 4 months during the winter. I didn't go wrong with these pair - really strong construction, tight enough to lock air out so they were warm (my friends feet were freezing!), and so stylish (although I immediately stood out as the American and that's okay. I got real compliments even from Russians.) I wore them literally every day and although the leather shows a bit of wear, they're still very much in tact. And the arch support is so good, I can't ever go back to wearing flats. Will buy another pair! (Also, the traction these babies get is amazing!)

I really love the look of these boots, and the 8.5 fit me well (I'm a solid 8). However, these are serious biker boots! By that I mean that they are very stiff and made with very thick leather that will take a lot of time to break in. They are super high quality, a great deal for the price -- great traction in snow, waterproof, good craftsmanship. But they definitely give my heels blisters because they are so stiff. However, I love them and so will patiently break them in for a year.

I LOVE these boots! I have wide, problem feet and these are my first non-foot-store footwear since having surgery for bunions and neuromas six years ago. I originally ordered a very similar Frye boot. Even after factoring in everyone's comments about the big sizes for Fyre - the boots I received were way too big. I loved the way the Fyre boots looked but even after factoring for size - I didn't think I would be able to wear them - for comfort reasons. I ordered the HD boots - based on a few comments and these were much more comfortable. I found the size to be fairly true - I normally wear a 6 and got a 6 in these. They were a bit snug at first, but loosened up nicely and quickly. I have pretty muscular calves (which are often an issue with boots) - these boots loosened up in the calf pretty quickly, too. I think these are just as gorgeous as the Frye boots - but A LOT more comfortable! I echo everyone else's comments re: Zappos - they absolutely ROCK! It is really a pleasure doing business with them!

These boots really rock! They are a combination of biker/western, beautiful soft leather, very well made. I ordered a half size larger and they are a perfect fit. I was surprised at the heaviness of the boot at first, but after all, they are made to protect your foot and will last for years! This boot was impressively comfortable and I wanted to give them a fair chance, because they are a different style than what I am used to wearing, but after having them on for about a half hour, I was smiling. Very cool boots. I am usually a solid 7 1/2 but an 8 was just great with this boot.

AWESOME~ TRY BEFORE FRYE!! I have always been a real "Frye person" and I tried this boot because I liked what people were saying about it and the Frye boot I wanted was not in stock. Well I have to tell the WORLD that this boot is sooooo WICKED AWESOME!! My son was the first to buy Harley's - he loved them & wore them all the time! I am very hard to fit with narrow feet so the snugness was fine with me although they break in very fast. There is a more than moderate arch support and they are super comfortable even with flat feet. They have a very authentic cowboy look with the cool square toe vs. pointed, (plus its way more comfortable on your toes inside), and are no doubt great for riding and biking. They're super versatile; they can be worn year round. They look adorable with jeans, tights with or w/out leg-warmers and an array of short and long skirts & "looks". If you are used to lightweights..."Yes", they are quite heavy when you first take them out of the box, but you get used to it. I love the neutral color. The leather is nice and soft at the top part of the boot and as I said they break in super fast!! Easy on and off. I think the soles are cool too. I just want to wear them everywhere and oh so many COMPLIMENTS!! :D Lastly, you can't beat the PRICE compared to Frye. And Zappos honored the difference when they went on sale a second time ~ BEST online shoe source I have dealt with ever!! I love these boots - When I first tried these boots on, I thought that I needed to get a larger size but after a couple of wearings I decided they are just right! I love the look of these boots and can stand in them for a fair amount of time.

Harley-Davidson Hustin 11" I luv my boots. It’s a little snug, but they are very, very comfortable. One boot was a little tighter by the ankle, so I stuck a plastic bottle in it over night to widen it up and it worked. I ordered a half inch bigger and glad I did because it fits perfect. I use it everyday to go to work and it looks good with jeans, didn't wear it with a skirt yet. Looking for the perfect one.

Love these boots - This is the only pair of harness boots that I could find in a size 5. At first they were tight across the top of the foot and a little on the narrow side, but they are starting to break in. They look great, and I love them. If you have a wide feet, start with thinner socks and move up to thicker socks. They'll break-in in no time.

Classic boot and able to re-sole too! Love the look of this boot, great price too, especially when you consider it is resolable, and has a high quality of workmanship. It is narrower than marked, I probably should have ordered a half size bigger to compensate. Also this boot requires breaking in! Do not expect it to be comfy, it is stiff and tight, but will be great for riding, both cycles and horses, once broken in.

Yeehaw! Wonderful boots! Took them on a trip and wore for them for first time! Incredibly comfortable from the start! Ran through airport, went dancing, sightseeing... you won't be disappointed. Dark brown is already worn in looking!

Loving my boots- I tried various other brands of the harness style boot but this one was the best one for me. I took a full size smaller ordering a 6.5 instead of a 7.5. I have a narrow foot. I don't wear socks with my boots. They are very difficult to get on but once they are on, they are comfortable beyond belief. I live in snow country and the sole of this boot is almost non slip in the ice and snow. I wear them daily. The more I wear them the more they conform to my foot. The outside is almost indestructible. I shovel snow in them, I have scuffed them on the concrete steps and still they resist punishment and live on. They are warm. I thought this would not be the case without socks but they are warm. The average temperatures here are mid teens. I have a pair of Uggs but I keep reaching for these because of the safety of the sole.

Great boots! I recently bought these boots in the dark brown color. I love them! They were comfortable from the very first wearing and fit perfectly. Not a single blister!! I've gotten lots of compliments on them and they look great with everything. Buy with confidence!

My favorite everyday boots- I absolutely love these boots. I have been looking for a cross between a motorcycle boot and western boot for a while and none fit the bill, but these are perfect! They are rugged and, while a bit heavy, surprisingly comfortable. They look great with jeans but you could wear them with casual skirts as well. If you are looking for a boot that gives you confidence, comfort and style, these are definitely it. You feel like you can do anything when you wear these!

So worth it! These boots are really comfortable and very cute. They came quickly and fit perfect. I have narrow feet so those with wide feet may want to go up a 1/2 size.

Wonderful casual boot- I've wanted a pair of dark brown motorcycle boots and finally got the money too buy these. Still, I was afraid these boots would be TOO casual, but they are really just about perfect. The heel size is just right, and the boots are quite sexy without calling too much attention to them. Guys notice these boots, too! I immediately began wearing them with little discomfort, too, except for a slight rubbing on one of my toes. This is my second pair of HD boots, and I think the brand is just really excellent. I love Zappos and will continue to purchase boots from them!

Love them... These boots are AWESOME. I have had the black ones for about 2 years now and wear them all the time. Always get compliments. They are perfect for jeans or whatever. VERY comfortable and really good quality. I think I'm going to order them in brown tonight, cause I just can't find another brown boot that would be loved as much as these boots have been!! True to size.

Great boots- I just got these boots in brown and I love them. They look absolutely adorable with jeans, cords, and denim skirts. They are comfortable and feel true to size. The heel is not too high and they have good traction, so they will make a great casual winter boot. I've gotten tons of compliments on them already!

Finally a harness boot that fits!!! After trying 3 different sizes of Frye's harness boot and never having them fit in the heel I was ready to give up owing this type of boot. I was then reading the other comments written about Frye's horrible fit and someone recommended Harley Davidson's boots. They fit in the heel with no slipping at all, they are not hard to get on, they look GREAT and best of all they are less expensive!! Fed up with your Fry's...try Harley Davidson.

Great boot! I get so sick of shoes/clothes so quickly. These boots have lasted me for 3 years now and i absolutely love them. They look even better worn in. I get tons of compliments on them. I wear them with everything. I have the dark brown and am now going to buy them in the black. I put shoe protectant on them about 2 times a year and this makes them look fabulous and practically change color.

Look great, well made, except much too small. Order 1 full size larger (I am size 8, but these size 8's felt like a size 7 narrow). They were stiff and took time to break in and soften. Zappos is very customer freindly.

Great buy!!! Well worth the money for this fantastic looking boot. It does feel a little stiff on the top of the foot, but will hopefully loosen up in time.

Biker Girl Loves Boots - I love the look of these boots. They are perfect with bluejeans, but I've even worn them a couple of times with skirts. They are not all that comfortable though and feel stiff through the foot part. I haven't been able to get that broke in feeling with them yet. Hopefully they'll improve with time.

Harley Davidson Hustin- Love the look, not so easy to get on as I have a high arch- in fact really difficult! Once on comfortable, sizing accurate!

Great all around boot - I have loved these boots. I initially wanted a pair of FRYE boots but did not like the fit. These boots look just like the FRYE but do not cost as much and are more comfortable. It does slip on the heel slightly, but thick socks solve the problem. Have gotten tons of compliments!
