I needed a boot like this to wear out in the winter Midwest weather and it performs beautifully in this capacity. It is true to size and fairly comfortable although a little large in the ankle area... perhaps something that could be corrected with heavier socks. Great boot to wear when walking the dog in the snow and ice.

I'm a freshmen college student and desperately needed boots that were cute but also warm and comfortable enough to walk all over campus in. Many other retailers were sold out due to Christmas, but thank goodness I found Zappos! I was able to find exactly what I needed and they got them here quickly! I'm normally a size 8, but when I saw that some felt they were smaller than marked, I went for the 8 1/2 so that I could wear thick socks. They're comfortable throughout though a little tight in the calf at first, but they stretch out. The boots are great for the price. I love them!

Rocket Dog never fails...
These boots are very warm, very nice looking over or under pants. The style, shape, and look of the boot are exactly what I wanted. If you've bought other RocketDog footwear then you know you won't be dissapointed!

These boots are pretty cute, but run bigger than size. I ordered the size I normally do (some folks reviewed them and said they ran small, so I just ordered my normal size) and they were huge on me. At least a full size. And the top of the boot is quite wide, enough so that even if I ordered a smaller size, I probably wouldn't wear them much because they felt a little duck-like. Wish they were a little narrower, and fit better. I would have kept them for sure!

Loved the look of these online, but when they arrived, they were a tiny bit too short, and way too wide. I would have needed the next larger size, and several socks to soak up the width. Definitely different, and seemed well made, but just not for me.

Really wanted to love these boots. They are very cute and more stylish (I think) than an Ugg or other typical winter boot. Unfortunately, the length of the shoe was right, but they were super wide so my foot was swimming in them. The heel is also very stiff and makes walking feel awkward. Plus, I could tell that they wouldn't be as warm as I need to endure the Montana winter. Back they go. :(

Very cute and comfy boots which tend to run large.
There are manufacturing problems, though. Sadly, I had to order several pairs to finally get a pair that fit and didn't have insoles that weren't lumpy or glued wrong. Thankfully, doing that with Zappos wasn't a problem with their great return service!

I just got these last night and tried them on. I am very disappointed because the top opening is so small! It would not zip all the way up. I have other Rocket Dog boots that are very similar to these and had no problem with the calf circumference. Unfortunately, I'll have to return them and try another style. Also, the right was slightly tighter than the left, but I think it's just a weird thing with this brand. My other Rocket Dog boots fit the same (right tighter than left).

I love this brand, and ignored the posts that said these boots run a little small. I ordered my regular size, 7, and I found that one heel slipped when I walked, and the other side’s toe barely touched the front, but enough to make it uncomfortable. The synthetic material seems like it would be cozy and warm, but it comes off and sticks to your socks. I also ignored the post that said the boxy toe was out-dated, and as much as I am a huge fan of square toes... she was right. Huge, square toes. The soles of this brand are always spongy and comfortable, and the styles are usually cute, but this one is a no-go for me.

I bought these in a size 10 and they were at least a full size too small. They seem like they'd be cute but it was too hard to tell. plus, they are not very soft inside. And, the button on the side is just for show -- however it does zip on and off in case you want to try to get your jeans in there. but they are fitted to the calf so it's not so easy.

Have a beloved pair of Keens in this style that I have been hoping to replace. Alas, Rocket Dog did not measure up. There is absolutely no support in this shoe/slipper so, cute as they are, they must be returned. There are also too small in length and my middle toes were scrunched.

I like the style, but the fit was awkward. I found that they are very wide, but not long enough. I had already ordered a size larger and my toes were hitting the end. I have very skinny calves and I was delighted to find that they fit around them perfectly. Unfortunately because they feel too big and too small at the same time I won't be keeping this pair.

The quality of these boots were very disappointing. They look cheap and of inferior quality. Also finitely not true to size. I wear 8 1/2 and my toes were rubbing against the front with no wiggle room. The calf was comfortable and my pants tucked in with no difficulty. No arch support and hard in the footbed. I have to return them.

Disappointed. The quality did not seem great. The soles are very slippery and would not work for me in snowy/icy weather. Also, the toe box is very tight and is rounded - which is not attractive. Returning - but love the service from Zappos!!

These boots run at least 1.5 to 2 sizes too small. I ordered a 9, the boots are labeled 9, but I estimate they are a 7 or 7.5.
