Sorel Waterfall - Had to reorder next 1/2 size up. Great shoe for winter walking. Light, not heavy, and keeps your feet dry. The only thing I'm not sure of is if it is waterproof. I've had these boots for only a month and waterproofed them twice already…

Disappointing - Looks vs. comfort! This boot is very cute but much too uncomfortable. I ordered half a size larger than usual, based on previous reviews, and it was still too small. The shaft of the boot is very stiff and digs into my shin. The sole is stiff and hard to walk in. Will be returning it.

Not waterproof at all!! Didn't even last me a season - I really wanted these boots to work. They were adorable and fit comfortably for the most part. However, although they seemed to fit okay at first, I did feel like they were so heavy they kind of cut off circulation to my toes. And they were not too small because I touched for the toe spacing. I had plenty of room; they just seemed to be too heavy for walking long distances. Also, they were NOT waterproof. The first time I wore them in the rain (during cold winter weather) my socks at the toes and base of the foot were soaked. Eventually the lining tore and gave me an awful blister. They were a HUGE disappointment. But I had no other boots so I had to keep wearing them (till I got the blister) and after I kept wearing them of course I couldn't return them. But is says WATERPROOF and that they were NOT!

Not right - I really liked the look they were just to stiff, that is why I’m returning them and have ordered different ones.

Thumbs down - Cute boot, but very uncomfortable. I was really disappointed in these boots. I've heard people rave about Sorel boots. I wanted a warm pair of boots so I figured Sorel was the way to go. Thank goodness Zappos has such a great return policy.

Love these boots! I got them just in time for our latest snowstorm and they kept my feet toasty warm and totally dry as I cleaned up the snow. They are super comfortable too! I usually wear a size 9 but I ordered 9.5 to make sure I'd have room for thick socks and they fit just right. The 9 probably would have been too tight even without a thick sock on. Very happy with this purchase!

I love the boots. They are warm and comfortable. The Zappos service was great. The right shoes arrived very quickly.

Love these boots! I needed a pair of winter boots for a January 2011 trip to northern Minnesota, and these did not disappoint - really comfortable, although they do run slightly small. I usually wear a 9/9.5W and the 10 in these fit fine. They are really warm, so I found heavy socks were not necessary. When I told my brother I bought a pair of Sorels, he laughed and said, "After 40+ years you finally bought a decent pair of winter boots!" I'm very pleased with this purchase!

Snug and comfortable. Great traction in the snow. I returned a different brand that was rated to -100 degrees, which was overkill unless you live at the South Pole. Half size up on these is necessary.

I bought them for my daughter and she loves them. The other reviews were very helpful, especially for determining fit! A half size up was good advice, and no arch support - she added her own preferred arch support.

The boots are great but run a tad small. I usually order a half size larger to allow room for thicker sock, so these will work for what I need. If you usually wear a thick sock, order a half size larger. They are a great height for fresh powder and shoveling Alaskan snow!! Not too tall, but taller than ankle-height. As always, Zappos is the best in customer service and just being nice!! (4 stars in comfort is for the sizing)

Love these boots. They look nice, are sturdy, warm, well worth the price. Glad I purchased. I wear orthotics, and the orthotics will slip right into these boots. Only possible negative, if you don't wear orthotics, there is not much arch support.

I just received these a few days ago and have been wearing them every morning for a walk - but this morning was the true test. I woke up to 9" of new snow. I took the dogs out for a walk this morning prior to the plows getting out. I was thrilled to find that after 45 minutes of hiking through the deep snow, my feet were toasty warm and completely dry. They are extremely light weight boots and very cute. They are more structured (not as cushy) compared to most winter boots I have had but I still find them quite comfortable.

I just got these boots and I loved them the second I took them out of the box. I usually wear a size 8½ but because other reviews said these boots run a bit small. I ordered a size 9 and they fit perfectly! I can't wait for it to snow so I can wear them! Thanks Zappos!

I'm extremely pleased with these boots. They get an A-Plus for comfort, quality and appearance. Other reviews mentioned the boots run small, so I'm glad I ordered a half size larger. If I had planned on wearing them with heavy socks (which I don't) I would have needed a full size larger.

These are very nice shoes! They are extremely light, really soft and comfortable. Only better to buy next bigger size. I wear usually 7 and I have had to change the shoes and buy 7.5. Zappos changed them speedily.

These boots feel great. I ordered them 24 hours ago and they are here already. I did order a half size larger than usual because I want to wear socks and they fit just as I had hoped. There is no instep but I could add one if necessary. Really nice boot.

I got these as a Christmas present and just recently tested them out in two significant snowfalls. They look good and kept my feet warm and dry playing for hours in the snow with the kids. They are very comfortable, not heavy or bulky, with plenty of room for two pair of socks.

These are great boots, warm and comfortable. They do run a little small, so order 1/2 size larger than you normally wear.

The boots arrived very quickly, and they seem to be of a good quality. Haven\'t had the chance to use them yet as there hasn\'t been any rain. I am glad I ordered a half size up as I will need the room for heavy socks.

What a disappointment! Would need to order a full size longer than normal. Little to no arch support! For an expensive boot, these seemed very cheap!

Love Them - I love this boot!!! I've never bought winter boots before and need some for a ski trip. They were very comfortable right from the beginning. They were very warm and looked cute under jeans. The fit was about 1/2 a size too small. I wear a 6 1/2 and have a slightly wide foot. I bought a 7 and never had a width issue. Love these boots!

I ordered this boot in my normal size, 6.5, and they fit snug at the toe with a thick sock, so may run slightly small but I probably wouldn't order smaller. These boots had all the features I was looking for. I especially liked that they had the Thinsulate for warmth and were waterproof. They are pretty cute, lightweight and have a great look with jeans, not bulky. I like the height of the sole as well. Overall, these were extremely comfy, although I'd rate the arch support moderate. The only problem I had with them was that the shaft rubbed into my shins. I think the shaft may work for most women and provide great ankle support, but I have thin ankles and shins and they didn't work for me. This may just require some breaking in, but after much debating over keeping these or not, (I really wanted them to work out) I decided to return due to the fit of the shaft.

Awesome Boots - These boots look and feel totally awesome. I've had many compliments and am impressed with the comfort and warmth they provide. I would definitely recommend them!
