These shoes fit perfectly from day one. I am new to tap dancing so I had expected some sore spots on my foot but there were none. The heel is just high enough to give support to my arch. I wear an 8 1/2 to a 9 so on recommendation I ordered the 9 1/2 and they were perfect.

These shoes are fabulous. My daughter loves them. Look great and feel great. Size up, because it seems tap shoes run small.

I normally wear a size 5 and I\'m glad I listened to everyone else\'s reviews and purchased a size 6. They fit perfect. The leather is soft and I\'ve received compliments on what a cute shoe this is. It\'s a comfortable shoe to dance in also.

I was looking for an inexpensive tap shoe and ordered a pair of these Bloch's. After I read all the reviews, I followed a few of their suggestions and ordered a whole size larger than my regular shoe. I'm normally an 9.5 wide and I ordered a 10.5. They fit like a glove! The width is perfect. They have a soft felt like material on the inside and in the picture of the shoe on Zappos, the leather looks hard, but it's actually very soft and comfortable. Another great thing is that the taps are already attached. All you have to do is put them on your feet and you're done. I can't wait to try them on the dance floor! Once again, cheers to Zappos!

Bloch Tap shoes - I'm a beginning tap dancer and for my purposes these shoes are great. I agree with many others-buy a size larger than your normal size.

I took the advice of others. I'm usually a 9 or 9 1/2 and ordered a 10. Fits good and I'm happy with them.

So comfy! Ordered a size larger than what I wear and they fit perfectly! However, the clasp on the strap broke the second time I wore them. :( Zappos customer service was great, as usual, and refunded my money and buying something a little more sturdy this time around!

These are great tap shoes that have style. This MaryJane updates the look for those that are older. The fit, for me, is one size larger than my normal shoe size.

I bought these tap shoes 1.5 sizes larger than my normal size due to recommendations elsewhere and because they were the closest in size to that of my street shoes. I held my breath and hoped for the best. To my surprise, they were just a smidge larger than my street shoes. I popped insoles from a pair of my street shoes and, to my surprise, they fit exactly.

I liked these shoes. Comfortable and affordable and much more attractive than lace ups. Size wise I needed a larger size than normal as toe hit end with regular size.

I was unsure of what size to order. The reviews were inconsistent about whether they ran a half size of full size too big. In most shoes, I am a size 9. So I ordered two, a size 9.5 and a size 10. I am sending the 10 back. The 9.5 are plenty roomy for an ordinary size 9. There is very little arch support. They look well made, although I am a total beginner in the tap world, and can't say much about how they "work."

After reading all the reviews, I ordered a whole size larger. I normally wear a 7.5 and the 8.5 for perfectly. I am now going to watch some instructional videos online and tap my booty and legs into great shape during this quarantine!

Comfortable out of the box, runs a full size small

Shoe runs almost a size small. I usually wear a 7 and I fit in an 8; with a thin insole for comfort.

I ordered a half size larger based on reviews of the shoe and the video (very helpful) and they fit perfectly.

My daughter is a beginning tapper for musical theater and loves these shoes. She is normally a 7 and the 7 1/2 fit great with hose / knee highs.

I carefully read the sizing information on line and measured my foot. Based on their sizing chart, I ordered one size larger than I typically wear and my tap shoes fit perfectly. I feel that they were a good value for the cost.
