An awesome re-invention! I bought this pair just yesterday and believe me dude,i couldn't keep my eyes away from it the whole night!! It feels very light as in you're just wearing your stinking socks. And the color is pure animal!

Boyfriend LOVES them! I recently purchased these shoes for my boyfriend because he has been looking all over for them! He used to have a pair and wore them until the sole was worn out. He wanted another pair for years but hasn't ever been able to find them. Black Rod Lavers - I love these shoes I have them in both white and black. I think the blacks are very slick looking, almost like an old school skate shoe.

Great Adidas Rod Lavers - These are the most comfortable shoes. They have a great style and can be wore for lots of different activities.

The Rod Laver is probably the oldest sport shoe in the world, originally produced in the late 70's as a dedicated tennis shoe. Their composite structure and mesh upper were revolutionary in their day. The design still holds up quite well and some people swear by them even now. In fact, Adidas has tried to kill this shoe off several times but public demand forces them to continue producing it. It is THE shoe for hacky sack but even many tennis players will go to some lengths to find this shoe. It's OK as a casual "sneaker" but that's almost a waste. If you're looking for a dedicated court shoe, try a pair of Rod Lavers -- you'll be impressed.

An awesome black shoe for work! This shoe not only looks great, but is light weight and form fitting. I am a woman and ordered the mens size which i would suggest getting 2 sized smaller. I ordered a 5.5 and I usually wear a woman's 7.5...I also ordered a womens pair in size 7.5 and it was half size too big...so hope this helps someone!

Great Shoes!!! I love these shoes!!! best place to buy them is at Zappos.com! I had to buy them one and a half sizes smaller because they are a mens shoe and I needed womens size, but I love them!!

Wonderful Sneakers - This was a wonderful transaction / order. I placed the order over the internet and had them within a day or 2. I gave them to my boyfriend for his birthday and he absolutely loves them -- says they are so comfortable. I would definitely buy from your company again and I would recommend this shoe as well.

Read about Rod...he's a legend - These shoes are classics. I have a white & black pair and wear them constantly. I've never tried the canvas or mesh ones but the leathers are awesome. The only issue I have is that they have less arch support than I prefer but it's no biggie.

Not a skater shoe - Whoever buys this thinking its a skater shoe is an idiot. The rod laver is a classic tennis shoe and great for casual wear.

White rod Laver - My high school son loves these as an everyday shoe.

Very comfortable - These are one of my favorite shoes to wear casually. They look awesome. Plain and simple, especially the leather ones (not the canvas one).

Comfortable and stylish all around sneakers. The design for these tennis shoes is a throw back to the early days of sneaker design. These are very stylish in an understated way. I think these are probably the most comfortable sneakers for all around wear. Great for walking and playing tennis. I have the white leather which is perforated for breathing. I ordered a second pair, I liked them so much.

Comfortable shoes. The cloth material on uppers can stain easily so be careful. Would highly reccomend. Great service from Zappos.

Overnight delivery/ instant fit and comfort - Has the old style look. Requires no "break-in." Comfortable. My grandchildren may not think them cool, but anyone over 35 should recall they once were and will always be (at least to those of us with discriminating tastes!) thanks for the overnight delivery and courtesy. I wanted the green/white ones but you were out.

Cool looking and comfortable - Great shoe...love the look and the feel. Too bad it is so hard to find in the marketplace...Adidas needs to make this shoe more available. Also have a pair of mesh blue ones to go with these the black leather.

Awesome - These are the best shoes for your money by far! They are super comfortable and slick. There also isn't any other shoe that will allow you to play Hacky Sack to the ability at which these alow. Buy your pair right now!

Great Shoe - I bought this shoe for my son who loves it. It fits great, true to size, and is stylish.

No complaints... They look just like they do on the website. Good sleek shoe that fits well with jeans or cargo shorts. Be sure to get them a bit dirty, they look much better afterwards.

Laver is Back! I wore the originals back in the early 80s and they suddenly disappeared, only to be brought back today! This early 'sport-specific' shoe is a true to original remake and slip into it if you want your feet to feel the best of underground style and comfort of the 80s.
