Worth the price! These are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Standing or walking, it's like having clouds on your feet.

Aida shoe - It is Ok. Not as comfortable as my other Mephisto sandals, though I still like them.

These shoes are a replacement for the Mephisto Helen which I ordered last summer. The Helen ended up being too wide for my feet which tend to be narrow to medium in width. My feet were sliding all over the Helen and did not feel supported but this is not a problem with the Aida as they fit perfectly. There are no issues with sliding or lack of support and the look overall is more refined than that of the Helen. I wear a 7.5 and the size 38 Aida fits me perfectly. I consider the Aida well worth the price I paid - their comfort and support are outstanding for my somewhat flat and tender feet.

Much more refined than depicted on site, the Aida is lovely, very light weight, feminine & functional. Baulked at spending as much, but another reviewer reminded me how many pair do we buy that never get worn, or that cause heel or toe blisters, that comment alone reminds us of what a quality shoe can provide. made in France, Mephisto is an investment well worth it. FYI a U.S, 9 is a Euro 39, at a true 8.5 the U.S.9 fit fantastically.
