Simply the best insoles I've ever bought. Ironically - I don't use them in my Dr. Martens as those seem fine as is. However, I have a pair of Caterpillars and a few pairs of Clarks and use these in those. And they work like a charm. I'd had more expensive ones from other brands but they didn't hold up like these. Love these things and recommend them.

They are perfect. Buy them. Even if you don't need them, they are better than the stock insoles.

Not only adds support but in my case helps compensate for a narrow width foot in a medium foot boot for a win-win situation.

Great quality. They are holding up really really well. Not sure if it's my Dr Martens or the inserts. but I had to trim one of the inserts both in length and width to get it to fit inside my boot. Even with trimming it down, it still doesn't fit perfectly and wrinkles/creases up a little which is not noticeable when wearing socks, but if not then it's a bit annoying.

These insoles were the perfect solution to my Dr. Martens Woolwick shoes feeling a half size too large. I have narrow feet and wear a half size, so Dr. Martens never fit me just right. These improved the fit of my Woolwick mary janes. Beware they do raise your foot about a half inch inside the shoe. This was not a problem for me, though. I did have to trim them at the toe just a bit, but it I imagine they would fit perfectly in the classic boots. I love that they come in actual sizes to match your shoe size! My only complaint is I wish they were black, not light grey.

These are well constructed, quality insoles. They offer little to no padding, though

Great addition to snug up the fit on a pair of docs since they don't offer half sizes. Adds a bit of comfort as well.

I bought these to take up some space in my Dr. Martens as these shoes do not come in half sizes. These insoles are very comfortable, however, I do not think that they actually took up any space. I bought the same size as my shoe but had to trim it a little bit to fit perfectly.

I bought these insoles for my Kamik 'Fargo' winter boots because the boot has little support and even less shock absorption. (They're still killer winter boots, though. I highly recommend that style! And I got them on Zappos!) I have a men's size 10 and these insoles in the same size fit perfectly in the boots. No bunching at the toes or weird gaps on the size. Like a custom fit. And they totally took care of the soreness I previously got from the boots. I no longer feel the impact from walking on icy, hardened snow and pavement. I wish there was a bit more arch support, but for the price I really can't complain about the great results I've gotten from them. I bought them because of the great reviews and the price, and I'm glad I tried these first before a more expensive pair of insoles. Although since Zappos has such a great and easy return policy, exchanging them wouldn't have been a problem, anyway!

The first pair I bought were too short. I didn't return them but just bought another pair the next size up. They are comfortable and comparable to the original insoles in the Nunn Bush shoes. They also are priced right.

I have a new pair mens 1461 shoes, I took the original insole out and inserted these instead. I'd say they reduce the overall shoe size by about a quarter of a full size, which helps in my case as I am normally in between a 10 and 11. They have a little more support than the originals but nothing great. One of the best things is they fit perfectly in the shoe, no trimming necessary.

I have a few pairs of Docs. I use these in my FOR LIFE 1460s. This fit my boots perfectly. They go in very easily. They offer thicker heel padding and a better heel cup. They offer NO increased support under the ball of your foot. They do raise your heel up just a tad. If you are having problems with your heel, this is the fix. If you are having problems with the front of your foot, look elsewhere. If you are considering purchasing these to make your boots/shoes fit better because they are too loose, these will help but only slightly. Don't expect these to fix a half-size issue but for $13 they might just do the trick. If you are having arch issues, these are better than stock but they won't help you. Go with the premium insole or some other brand.

They are okay. But the Doc Marten shoes had cushioning up near the toes. I don't feel that in the comfort replacement insoles and that is disappointing. Is anyone else finding this to be true? Great heel cushioning but I was looking for more of the softness up by the toes.

This is a shoe insole; therefore sizing is irrelevant because you trim to size. This insole is firm and rigid,and with low volume. Very little and firm cushioning in forefoot and low volume increased gel cushioning in the heel. I liked the extra cushioning in heel and I have enjoyed the product generally. However, this 58 year old trail runner would like to have some additional firm cushioning in the forefoot. Great price!

I bought these for some Chelsea-style Doc Martens. I purchased a size 7 shoe, so I purchased the "Womens Size 6.5-7" insoles. These do NOT fit the Chelsea boots, despite another review saying so. I would only know if they truly comfortable by trimming the soles, which would render them non-returnable. There is little arch support to these and they're thicker than I expected in the heel, thus making the shoe 'pop' in the heel when I walk. I had to return these and am sort of stuck wearing thick socks until I find insoles that properly fit. The hunt continues.

These work well to "snug up" a pair of Docs that are a bit big because you wear a half size. For example, I wear a women's 6.5 but have to purchase a size 7, so these inserts help snug the boots up a bit so they fit a bit more like a 6.5 They don't really offer a ton in the way of actual support, though.

These work great if you're trying to make a half size work in in your docs. However, I'm a little disappointed in two things. First that they do not offer the squishy comfort I was hoping for. They have some padding, but really are quite thin. Second, they add a squeak inside my shoes when I walk. They fit inside them nicely. I didn't have to trim them, but the movement of walking makes them jostle at the arch and squeak. I ended up taking them out and put the original soles back in. If you are looking for an insert that just fills the gap of the half size and don't mind a little extra squeak, these soles are for you.

I bought these to replace a really worn out insole in a pair of beloved Merrell loafers. They do the job but I don't feel they had the same "bounce" as the original insole. It's not bad or great.

I believe the name is misleading. "Comfort" should imply that they make the shoes comfortable, whereas they simply make them a little less uncomfortable. Hardly any arch support (although I do have high arches), and they're not soft at all; feels like I'm standing on a totally hard/flat surface. Not the best.

Insole is a perfect fit inside my boots. Thinner or less cushion than the orginal insoles. They would be perfect if they were thicker.

I orderd a pair of Dr. Martens Smiths 4 hole uk 8 us 9 I wear a 8.5 in us shoes, I tore out the slippery sloped cheap insoles that came with the smiths put these insoles uk 8 in and the shoes do not fit. My toes are so smooshed together and to walk is so painfull. So sorry I purchased them.

Bought this in size 4. It didn't fit my Dr Marten Mary Jane size shoes size 4. The toe area curls and didn't want to go flat at all.

I bought several pairs of these several months ago, thinking that extra support in my Docs shoes would be a good thing. I will admit that I really dislike these insoles. Dr. Martens shoes are already cush enough. The insoles make all of my Dr. Martens cut into the arch of my foot, and I do not have high arches. I tried using the insoles in other shoes and they did not fit well. Avoid these; just buy Dr. Martens boots and you will be fine.
