I love the look of these Sesame Street themed shoes. They could use more padding for sure but I knew they would be very flat when I ordered them. These won't be worn for lots of walking but they will be worn on special occasions. Oh and the box was very themed also and I will keep my shoes in the box when I'm not wearing them.

Great for a casual night out or a day cruising the strand on my skateboard! Comfortable and one of better looking styles the vans makes. Also goes with almost anything!

I bought these because they were nostalgic for my hubs. We've been together since were were 16 and 19. He wore checkerboard Vans his whole life. I surprised him on Father's Day and he loves them!!

I thought they were pretty comfortable. First purchase directly from the Vans site and was not disappointed. Had to buy 1/2 size up though.

I had these from years ago and I recently messed them up (still have them though) so wanted to get a fresh pair. I ordered them online and when they arrived I noticed the differences. The squares are not white. They are a cream color. And they have extra seams. I'm not sure if the extra fabric was to accommodate them being unisex but what really bothers me is the not white squares. Also, the tongue of the shoes isn't suede on the new versions but it was on the old version. The old skool design is comfortable to me and cool looking. Just don't get any checkered with white. Unless it doesn't bother you. I will be returning mine.

I wanted to love these and from the advertised pictures I thought I would. However upon receipt they were a let down. The suede trim is a faded muted Gray color, although they in the pictures it appears Black. If the suede was jet Black like the canvas I would've kept them.. However, unfortunately back they go

I had viewed a picture of these online and thought there were cool. They are even better in person. Flames are very reflective.

Bought for my fianc for Father's Day he loves them.. color could be any prettier. Love that Dodger Blue!!!

Color was vibrant and the size was accurate.

They fit perfectly. I use them for everything. They wear well with shorts or pants. Day or night. Prom night to movie night. You can't go wrong.

Shoe pictures is all black. Shoe you will receive will not be.

These are my teens first shoes and she loves them!!She has wide feet so she appreciates the foot space and loves the color and style (I do too).

I bought these for my husband. He hasn't had a pair of Vans in eons. I told him he needed some cool shoes, because he had too many "Dad" shoes. He loves them, they look great and at 50, he's cool again.

Theses shoes are comfortable. I wear them for work and for casual hangout too. Vans has the best color options in shoes also. I will forever wear vans.

The Beacon Blue color is so pretty! I normally wear a women's size 6, but I needed a 6.5 in this shoe. It's lightweight and comfortable. Would buy again!

I bought these for my boyfriend and he loves them. He wears a 15 wide in men's, so I decided to order him the size 16. They are a bit big on him, but he bought insoles and they fit him very comfortably.

Great color, fit and feel

I loved the way these shoes looked, but one of them started squeaking the day after I got them. After a while, the sole separated near the toe. The other pair looked good as well, but the toe by where the laces start buckled after only wearing them a couple of times. I've had vans on and off since the 70s, but these last 2 pairs have been a bust.

Walked around town for a few hours. My heels were trashed due to these shoes. This is not an issue isolated to this model of Vans shoes. It is systemic to Vans shoe design. I've since noticed this complaint on other Vans shoes. I was able to ameliorate the problem by applying duct tape to the shoe heel. Shouldn't have to do this.

I am 50. Literally my first pair of shoes were vans. This is the first pair not blue or black. Ever. Vans are the ONLY brand I have ever worn.
