Happy to say the quality of the shoe's construction has improved since the last pair of Van's I bought. The padded seam around the ankle is back, the sole seems thicker and the tread has great grip, and I really need the double layer over the toe area I destroy shoe toes for some reason, and, it's been a few years, but a pair I bought a few years ago you couldn't get with the Van's stripe on the side, made the shoes too plain, dig the Van's stripe and red rubber label on the heel.

Favorite shoes of all time. They’ve been my go-to for years and I wear them almost every single day. I always buy a new pair when mine wear out, which if you take care of them and try to keep them clean they’ll last for at LEAST a year. I have somewhat wide/short feet and wear a women’s size 4.5 (men’s 6) and the sizing is always perfect (they form to my feet a little bit after some wear). They’re not going to last for years or through rough wear but they’re still a classic choice that always look good.
