I have a very wide foot [i wear a 7W in Clarks] and was looking forward to this fitting since it is a men's shoe, and they tend to be cut a little wider. Something about this just did not fit my foot correctly. The men's 5.5 was definitely too narrow in the toe box, but I had extra fabric around the sides closer to my heel. They looked super cute, so I'm sad they didn't fit well. The construction looked a bit cheaper up close than I was expecting. Not quite right for me.

Too small by about half a size to a full size - gave them to my daughter.

ive been wearing this shoes for almost ten years. i cant even count how many pairs ive had. i like the way they look, but the quality came way down around 5 years ago, when the stitching on the side of the shoe changed. before the side stitch below the stripe was swoopy and didnt come to a point. (like the pro model is swoopy) when that happened, the shoe became way narrower and the overall quallity of the shoe and insole changed. they dont last as long as they used to. so i started wearing the pro model, which lasts about 15 times longer.. pro model is wider, but heal fitment is super sloppy on them and are overall a lot more clunky than these and look way bigger on your feet... if you dont care about a clunkier shoe, if your interest is mainly about having a long lasting shoe. the pro model version is way better for an extra 6 bucks. if you like snug fitment and a lighter weight shoe, this version is better

Was looking for a white sneaker that was cool. When I received the shoe it looked too "orthotic", not what I was looking for.

I wanted to like these shoes because I liked the style, but I had to return them because they were very stiff and dug at my heel. I knew if I tried wearing them they would hurt and might cause blisters.

I think I may need to size up in these , they felt a little small , maybe I just haven’t broken them in but its still a little uncomfortable right now.

These seem well made, with comfortable padding. However, the toe box is not tall enough; it presses down a bit on my big toe. The ankle opening is quite narrow, and I couldn’t pull the laces tight enough for the sides to meet the tongue. Both these reasons make them unwearable with socks in colder weather. Unfortunately, because they’re very cute, these are going back.

The size and fit are pretty much as described. They are a bit longer than I would've expected, but not by much. I love the way these look, but the comfort of these shoes are little on the weak side. I bought these because I loved the Vans I had back when I was younger. The soles on these feel very flat and way less comfortable than when I had Vans in the past. The heel also felt way thinner and feels like it has almost no padding. The sides of the shoes are quite thin and just not as soft as I remember. I love the way these shoes look and fit, but I'm just not satisfied with how they feel. I wouldn't purchase again, but I don't hate these enough to return them.

Love how they look, but the collar around the ankle rubs my heel. It’s been a long time since I’ve worn classic Vans, and 3 hours into my first day wearing this new pair I realized that ankle collar was the same complaint I had about my old ones.

My favorite sneakers of all time are Brooks, bar none. I have used Brooks for years until the decided to stop making my size in that particular sneaker. So my kids got Vans and I thought well maybe I'll give them a try. I wore them for an entire day while at a party and can say that 1. they feel like $60 sneakers 2. my feet were killing me by the end of the day. Sooo would I buy them again, nope! If you are looking for a cheap sneaker for hanging around, then give them a shout. But if you are big footed like me, maybe not so much.

I have owned so many pairs of vans! This is my first time purchasing the black on black and I think maybe I got a defective pair? I wore them the first day and I had a severe reaction to something on the inside of the shoe on both feet. I am beyond bummed, one because I’m terrified to try and wear them again and two because they’re so cute! Like I said I have these in so many colors and I would love to say maybe it’s just a fluke I got a weird pair or maybe it’s the black on black idk! Either way hopefully you won’t have the same reaction I did.

After trying Vans slip one and finding them uncomfortable I decided to try these b cause they’re classic and cool and go with so many outfits, but they’re just too uncomfortable for me. There’s no padding in the sole, there is zero arch support (it’s actually plain flat), the canvas is stiff and the back of the shoe rubs my ankle to the point of hurting me, and I think they run maybe a 1/2 size small and they’re a bit narrow. I have ample room from toe to the tip of the shoe but I have very little space in the sides and top of my feet. I can only wear thin socks. And then it’s just plain uncomfy and I can’t wear them a full day. I am so sad these don’t work because I love the Vans aesthetic so much. These aren’t for everyone, try them before you wear them out. Things I thought would get better after I tried them on initially didn’t get better. I should have returned them.

Great looking sneaks that you can wear wherever whenever. Felt a bit wider than most shoes so I ordered a half size down from my normal shoe size. Also just a heads up they are so uncomfortable. No support/cushioning just canvas and hard rubber between your feet and the ground. That being said, you can’t find a more classic sneaker - and I’ll take style over comfort any day.

They fit a lot smaller than my true size and also the seam across the toe was uncomfortable. Don't think I'll order another pair. I guess Vans are not for me.

I got the white ones. There is no suede on it at all only canvas unlike the description in video. Absolutely No arch support. So uncomfortable. Had to return.

I feel my VANS Slip On as much more comfortable, supportive. Perhaps I'd have liked them more in leather.

Comfortable for a few hours of wear. Could probably put some inserts in for all day comfort.

I had a pair of Vans as a teen, loved them. I guess 20+ years has changed that, on either me or the shoes. They are plenty wide enough for my feet (and I'm really picky about shoes not hugging or pinching my toes), but there is zero support on the inside. No arch support, no real cushioning even. I really hoped I'd love them like I did when I was younger because I still love the style. Probably enough room inside to add a good insole (but that'd cost the same as the shoe!).

My husband found this one to be very tight in the toes, which he would at least a have size up to hopefully fix the problem. Basic looking shoe.

Image of the shoe in navy does not match the actual product; the suede in reality is navy, whereas in the picture it is black. Very disappointed.

The quality is definitely not "Old School" by any means. So, those of you looking to reminisce about those skate sessions in back yard pools on those long sunny summer days of your youth; be prepared to be somewhat disappointed.

I bought these shoes for my son and he just wore for few days. The inside sole is already peeling off! Hope they can replace it. Not happy at all. Bought exactly the same shoes before and it was a better quality. By the way I am a VIP Zappos client.
