Warm at first but after skiing for awhile my fingers got soo cold! I was disappointed because I definitely liked the look of the gloves but wouldn't recommend for a day on the slopes.

Purchased these for my college son for Christmas and he loves them. He says they are very warm and the best part is they do not make his hands sweat.

The materials and workmanship were first class.....the fit was horribly small!! It is a shame that sizes can not be more uniform on online purchasing. Well made....but poorly sized.

These fit great, but didn't keep our hands warm in the windy February weather. It didn't end up raining as forecasted, so we couldn't tell how they did in wet weather, but we could tell that they weren't warm.

Bought these for my moms hubby since he’s often out in the cold taking long walks, and always said his hands alone were always cold. No more cold hands. Men’s large fit perfectly and he loves them. Mentioned they’re even waterproof! He and I are both very happy.

Really good purchase, true to fit Men’s L is the same as most similar gloves. Arrived as temps dropped below 0 deg F for the week and no problem during daily dog walk.s

Hard to tell about the fit because, while the plastic bag had a label saying these were men's gloves they were, in fact, women's gloves. The tag and label on the gloves indicated that. We were not impressed with the design and feel so opted not to change these for the actual men's glove ordered.

the fit and size were good for my small hands, it felt a bit tight to get my hands in but is no trouble really since it helps the glove to be in it's place, very grippy and not super bulky but not super light either which helps me when i walk my dog and open the poop bags without taking off my gloves (and no mess either). waited to review until i went on winter break to canada where i could really try if the glove was the best for my cold hands and it helped me survive without pain until -20 celsius which was the min temp that i was in, never felt wet or pain on my fingertips, i find this a great buy so far, oh and it works well with the phone. only thing is, now i understand why some gloves have like a sniffles thing on my finger, this one doesn't have it but is no issue.

PROS - The aluminum inside does actually make your hands warm, my hands were warming up as I tried them on. They look great, the black color is really nice. CONS - The tab that you use to pull the gloves tighter on the wrist broke off as I was trying them on for the first time. They're loud, like a zippering sound as you rub them together or they rub against your coat, etc. Your fingertips don't go into the fingers all the way.

Got these just in time for 15 inches of snow...but that’s where the good ends...the liner is not attached to the shell so every time my 9 year old pulled them off she couldn’t get them back on. The liner actually comes completely out of the shell, they were like that when we received them...don’t get them...got a pair of hotfingers from dicks same price and great for snow play. Kudos to Zappos customer service for easy return process

Wanted a pair of gloves I could run in but still work my phone. These are great!! They are thin but warm. I leave in south Texas so it doesn’t get very cold here so not sure if they would work for those folks dealing with snow. But great for what I use them for. Solid black is clean and stylish

Purchased these based upon sizes from other glove brands. They ended up being too small for my hands. The fingers length was fine, but the overall fit was too tight. Will end up trying an XL to see if the fit is better.

Fits well, slips on and off nicely. Weather is not cold enough yet to tell if these will keep my hands warm. They feel good while on.

I don't know what other reviewers are smoking but these gloves are not as advertised. While they do have a nice comfort to them for being a mid-weight glove they are not waterproof at all. I took these on a trek through Iceland and it rained and snowed a lot. My girlfriend had a pair of waterproof gloves that were like a typical ski glove that kept the hand completely free from the elements. These gloves however are made of a material close to a wet suit. What happens with a wet suit is it soaks up water and the body eventually heats it up which would be nice but the second you take them off they'll get cold and now you have cold wet gloves. They soak up water, not resist water. If you were guaranteed to not have any snow or rain when using these then the gloves would be fine. Otherwise they are not as advertised.

The gloves felt really nice and seemed designed well. The small was extremely tight for being a small size.. I bought a similar North Face glove and their small was much roomier and didn't cut my circulation off!

Very tight in the fingers. Had to return.

I have owned several pairs of these gloves over the years. I wear them hiking in the White Mountains of NH, and wear them in spring, fall, and winter. Alone, they keep my hands comfortable in temperatures to freezing and a bit below. When it is colder, I wear an insulated mitt over them, and that is good to the teens. Below that, I switch to a down mitt. Although they are not waterproof, they keep my hands perfectly comfortable even in wet weather, something like wearing a wetsuit in the ocean. The palms are soft and fairly tacky leather, these actually also make nice driving gloves. After wearing for hours of hiking in wet weather, dye from the leather does turn my hands somewhat purple! This effect varies from glove to glove. The failure mode for these gloves is wear through the fingertips. They typically last 18 - 24 months, but keep in mind that I use them often and in extreme conditions. They are the best glove available for the way I hike, and I've tried quite a few.

I had tried these gloves on, but in a size XL, at a sporting goods store that I will not mention. The XL was rather tight so I thought I'd check for a bigger size on Zappos and they do carry a XXL. The XXL was no bigger, in fact, seemed tighter than the XL. These gloves fit like a wet suit, SKIN TIGHT with no wiggle room.

Ugh! The water went right in!
Zappos Reviewer on February 24, 2017
Prefacing this by noting that I always prefer mittens to gloves. I recently wore these on a ski trip in 25-degree weather. My hands were kept dry while I was resting and falling in the snow. On top of that, these kept my hands super warm. I found myself frequently taking them off so that my hands wouldn't sweat. The cuffs with the cinch grip (combined with my tight-wrist jacket) made these so easy to take off and put back on.

Nicely lined stays pretty dry, easy to turn inside out to dry

First pair of mittens I have ever owned that actually keeps my hands warm. Buy them!

These are labeled as " All Weather Glove " - that's 100% WRONG. I tried these during a very cold day here in NY where the temperature was a frigid 20F and the cold air instantly penetrated the gloves and froze my hands in a matter of 10 seconds. My hand sweated inside and was damp for the rest of the day. I do NOT recommend this.

XXL? - not true. These double XL gloves are too small. Gloves should be snug but it should not hurt to wear them. My hands are not that big.
Ouch. on December 17, 2016
One of the best pairs of gloves I've ever owned, if not the best. I wear them riding a motorcycle in below freezing temps and they are great. Many gloves I've tried block the cold, but these block the cold and the wind as well. I can't speak to the waterproofing as much, but in normal rain (aka not a hurricane) they do the job.
