These shoes felt great, at first. But once I tried them on, the cushioning was excellent and supportive everywhere except under the big toe. In this spot, the composite meets the bottom of the shoe, and there is a manufacturing defect which basically feels like your big toe is walking on a nail. I tried removing and adjusting the insole but found the 2mm piece of composite was too much to bear. Returned after 10 minutes.

They fit very comfortably. They are light and they feel like you are wearing a tennis shoe. They are composite toe, so you get the protection, but not the weight of the steel toe. I like that they give you a pink lace, so you can add some style to them. They have a lot of support and they feel like you are waling on cushions. I highly recommend them.

These shoes are exactly as advertised. They have the steel toe and the other technical features. But after trying them on, I realized that is not what I wanted. I have a 20 minute walk from the parking lot. And the Merrells these are replacing were much better suited to the task. Merrell seems to in some kind of exotic shoe phase. I just want a regular gym shoe I can use to walk to work. This pair of Nautilus shoes is a bit too heavy and clunky for that. Though, I'm sure they're good at what they're designed for.

Where to even begin! First some background. I've worn White's boots most of my 24 year career. I decided to switch to Keen Detroit Low for awhile which I LOVE. I use ArchMold inserts in them. The only reason I tried the Nautilus was because of the color which is the only thing they have going for them. They are heavy, clunky, stiff, run very small (my foot measures at an 8.5 and I wear a 9.5 in most shoes Keen included and the Nautilus 9.5 was too small), felt sloppy in the toe box and have zero arch support. The insole has heel padding which also felt weird. Don't waste your time on these, go with Keen. I would like to try the Caterpillar brand but for now I have ordered another pair of Keens

Impressed as to how comfortable these were straight out of the box. Would definitely recommend them!
