In 1904, former tennis and wrestling champ, Frank P. Mitchell partners with Scottish golfer, Charles M. Ness, to form a sporting goods store on Arch Street in Philadelphia, PA. Mitchell & Ness Sporting Goods specialized in handcrafted tennis racquets, golf clubs and other equipment.

By 1925, Mitchell & Ness™ begins designing and manufacturing uniforms for high school, college and semi-pro sports teams in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. In 1933, the company enters the pro-game when the newly formed Philadelphia Eagles employ Mitchell & Ness™ as their official on-field outfitter.

After the widespread success of the Cooperstown Collection, the NBA™, NFL™ and NHL™ grant Mitchell & Ness™ licenses. The jerseys are increasingly popular among entertainers and athletes, making frequent appearances in music videos and magazines.

In 2005, after numerous requests from collectors, Mitchell & Ness™ acquires its most recent license, the CLC College Vault label. While trends come and go, Mitchell & Ness™ jerseys remain popular among sports’ greatest enthusiast—the true fan.

They are FAKE. I bought a pair of the same shorts in-store just a different color. Nice try to pass off knockoffs The color is faded, stiching is awful an already coming un-done, the material is very thin on REAL mitchell&ness swingman shorts the material is thick. the logo is smaller as well. Very disappointed you would try to pass this off to a Customer. Very Disappointed

The fit is good, slightly on the longer side (I'm 5'10), and the look and colors look really clean and fresh. Feels very comfortable. Originally I was really stoked about this purchase, however, within 10 days, the stitching of the seams of the belt area began to come loose fairly significantly. Was really disappointed in the quality of the stitching, considering how much I paid. I really wanted to love this purchase! Bring back the Seattle Supersonics!!!
