Lucchese

Lucchese Logo
The Lucchese™ Bootmaker story starts in 1880 when Sam Lucchese Sr. and his brothers came to America. He was just 17 years old at the time, but Lucchese knew he wanted to be a boot maker. Just three years later, the Lucchese Boot Company was born in San Antonio, Texas. In 1960 the founder´s grandson and namesake took over the family business and decided to rethink the art of boot making. Sam Lucchese Jr.´s fascination and understanding of the human foot inspired him to create a boot design that fit like no other. Although Lucchese´s one-of-a-kind boot's last design required more skill and time, the result was a boot that quickly gained national recognition for its extraordinary comfort, quality and fit.

No other boot fits the human foot like a Lucchese™ Bootmaker boot, thanks to their original design and meticulous construction. From the exclusive "twisted cone last" design and the careful selection and cutting of the finest grade of leather, to the hand-drive lemon wood pegs and meticulous finishing of a boot. Each step is considered critical to the finished product. The boot designs may demand more money, time and skill, but when you slip your foot into a Lucchese™ Bootmaker boot, you'll know why we insist on only the finest.

Every Lucchese™ Bootmaker boot is hand inspected twice. In virtually every procedure during the production on a Lucchese boot, human hands are relied upon to complete the task to near-perfection. Every inch of a Lucchese boot is made of the finest grade of leathers. Slip your foot into a Lucchese and experience comfort you never thought possible.

Perfect size and fit. Superior leather and craftmanship. Total comfort. From the second I put them on! I was leary about wearing cowboy boots because I have a recent spinal fusion. My back feels great when I am wearing my boots! I am surprised and pleased with how comfortable these boots are.

While on a recent trip to Las Vegas I picked up a pair of these in a much lighter color. They quickly became my new favorite pair of Lucchese's. I wore them all over town right out of the box and they were really comfortable. When I saw these on Zappo's in a darker color I jumped on them. The pictures do not do these boots justice. The detailing is super sharp. Grab a pair before they sell out. FYI these are a 7 toe and 3 heel.

These boots are really nice looking. The shaft is pretty fancy, but once you put them on they look like pretty normal boots. The design on the toe is a little different from what you normally see on a Lucchese Boot which to me is an upgrade. Really comfortable and seem like they'll be pretty durable. I ordered the same size I would get with a Lucchese leather boot but these were actually too small. So I ordered a half size up which was perfect. Maybe because they are goat they are tighter. They're a 7 toe and 3 heel FYI.

I was concerned from the pictures that the boots would look too bright or flashy. They are actually more subtle in person but still look really sharp. If you normally buy Lucchese leather boots I'd suggest ordering these a half size larger since the alligator is pretty tight. So these fit just like a croc or lizard boot. Really comfortable which is what you'd expect from Lucchese.

Beautiful, well made boot. Usually wear a 9, but ordered both the 8.5 and the 9 based on the reviews. Ended up keeping the 8.5 - the 9 had too much extra room in the toe. As mentioned, the width is narrow and by the end of the day, the boots were pinching my foot at the widest part. I could break them in slowly, but I don't want to wait. Instead, I will be take the boots to my friendly neighborhood cobbler and have them stretched.

I love Lucchese boots. Over the years I have had several pair. I wear them to church and formal events. This pair were great until the past few weeks when the right boot started making an annoying clicking sound whenever walking / taking a srep. This is particularly annoying in church and formal settings. The boots have been well cared for and worn regularly. Unsure what to make of the annoying/ embarrassing popping sound.

Lovely boot, fine leather and detail. However, the shaft very narrow. I consider my self average weight and height medium frame and normal size calves- but the mid shaft way to snug- couldn't even fit tight legging on under the boot.

These boots are everything I dreamed they would be. I wear a lot of Frye boots and these were just as comfortable and very high quality. I have muscular calves and they fit well. I have no problem getting them on and off which I was slightly nervous about. I also have a bit of a wide foot but I find these to be very comfortable. The heel height is perfect and very flattering. I got the darker of the two colors and its gorgeous. The detail in the stitching and the fading/coloring of the leather is very pretty. I love wearing these with dresses, jeans and leggings. I will definitely need to treat and protect the leather for the winter. I highly recommend these!

The fit is true to size. The upward curve in the toe is strange to get used to. The boot is gorgeous. The right boot has irregularities in the stitching unfortunately.

Super cute boots and very comfy for a boot. Only small complaint is a lil scratchy at the top of the zipper. Love the silver studs on them.

LOVED these boots instantly and wore them straight away. Only problem is they loosened over the day and are slightly big. And now I can't return cause they've been worn. Grr. Would have gone a half size down. Gorgeous gorgeous boot tho. Highly recommend.

My closet is full of Lucchese boots. This boot is gorgeous, but the leather is so hard and stiff. I suppose it would break in, but I have never had this problem with my other boots, and I am afraid I won't be able to wear them, so unfortunately I had to return them.

Firstly, I have to admit that prior to purchasing these Lucchese boots, I have never owned nor worn cowboy boots. I was shopping for boots that would be low-heeled enough for airport walking, suitable for cooler climates, comfortable enough to wear for long periods, but also highly fashionable and of good quality. This pair of boots delivered in every single one of these categories. I could not be more thrilled with this purchase! I now understand what all the fuss is about: If all cowboy boots feel this great, I've certainly missed out. Lucchese produces high-quality merchandise. Thank you. In terms of the service and speediness of delivery, Zappos, once again, has exceeded expectations. You guys consistently get it right! Thank you, as well. :)

Wow, these boots are beautiful. They are well crafted and look great. Unfortunately, something about the pitch of the boot puts my leg out of alignment. I felt I was falling forward while wearing them. I regularly wear heeled boots, usually with a higher heel than these. But something about the heel vs. angle of the foot bed just did not work for me. It was hard to send them back, because they are so great otherwise.

I have terrible feet (bunions & plantar fasciitis) and wanted something comfortable to wear on my wedding day. I looked forever for the right boot and I am so thankful I found these. Not only were they absolutely gorgeous they were comfortable too. I did end up putting in a small insole for extra support and I was able to dance in them the entire night. Now that my wedding is over I can't wait to wear them out with cute jeans!

I’ve been a huge Lucchese fan for years. You don’t know what a comfortable cowboy boot feels like until you’ve had Luccheses on your feet. They’re light weight as opposed to the heavy clunky Justins and Ropers. Open your wallet and pay the extra money. You won’t regret it. These are perfect and feel like an old friend right out of the box.

Very comfortable for a boot in general - the eggshell has a bit of green and brown mixed in which looks distressed but not sure I like the look. Still debating on if to keep them...

I didn't love the color but the real issue was this bizarre hump/dip/bulge in the middle of both of the boots. I think it was some jokesters idea of arch support but it made the boots unwearable. I checked both boots because I thought it might have been a manufacturing defect but it was in both boots. Big design flaw.
