Livie & Luca

Livie & Luca Logo
Livie & Luca was founded in 2005 with the tagline, "adorable shoes for adorable feet." San Francisco Bay Area residents and co-owners, Mitzi Rivas and Amie Garcia, fell in love with an adorable pair of shoes gifted to Mitzi. With those shoes in their hands and a dream in their hearts, they were inspired to create a line of specialty children's shoes designed with whimsy and sweetness that sing of the joy of being a child.

Livie & Luca offers expertly crafted shoes for baby, toddler, and youth that can be worn everyday or for special occasions. They incorporate brightly colored leathers, bold designs and playful details that capture the essence of childhood. The shoes are inspired by nature, travels, and vintage designs and their comfortable construction allows kids to navigate playgrounds, city streets and dirt pathways with style and ease.

Livie & Luca strongly believes in supporting their community and each year they partner with a local organization to better children's lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. They are also involved in the "Changing the Face of Beauty" movement which strives to have children of all abilities represented in media.

I heard great things about this brand, but was very disappointed. My daughter had these on for just a couple hours and gave her the worst blisters! I have always bought her Pediped sandals with no issue, just wanted a different selection this year. Sadly, I won't be buying anymore Livie & Luca sandals.

My daughter usually wears sketchers shoes. These ran a full size smaller and she is unable to wear. Very cute shoes tho.

My daughter is a size 12 and they die perfectly. I love the support from the sole and the Velcro is adjusting for just the right fit. They are a coral In person and very soft.

Fit my little girl fine and they are adorable but within minutes my girls ankles were bleeding. Took them off and she refused to put on again. Waste of $$$

These shoes are the best! I love the style. They can be casual or dressy and they go with everything. If you have a kid with chubby feet, you need these. They open with Velcro on both sides, so that the “flap” folds back and opens very wide to allow for easy on/off. They’re pricey, but they’re worth it.

Hope they are comfortable. I bought 2 pairs and one shoe of the four was strangely cut too small in the toe so returned and swapped but the others fit. Stylish but comfy style. Hope my girls wear them often!

My daughter loves these shoes. She wore a hunter green pair that we bought at a children’s boutique, but as she started to outgrow them we had to find another pair to fit her growing feet. Cute style and she loves how comfortable they feel!

My daughter wore these twice and they are so scuffed up and messed up from falling/being a toddler. Which I understand that they’re shoes and that will happen, but it now looks like we’ve had these shoes for months, when she’s really only worn them a few hours.

I ordered two pair for both my daughters and need to return both for larger sizes. My toddler currently wears a size 4 in the Livie & Luca Pio Pio style and these appear to be more narrow. I couldn’t get the Velcro tabs to align, which means they were way too tight. I’m going to order a larger size. For my older daughter, she said the back hurt her heels and asked for a larger pair. My guess is that the leather is more stiff than other leather shoes and if they hurt the first time, my girls won’t put them on a second, so I can’t take any chances that they will stretch. From a cuteness perspective, they are off the scale! So adorable.

Rainbow and silver shoe. Super cute! Easy on with dual Velcro opening. The best for my daughter who has a very high instep and typically can not get slip on loafers on at all. For reference: She can’t wear Toms because her instep is too high. She loves them!

Livie and Luca have the most beautiful, well-made shoes for little girls, and they fit like a glove. Bought these for my granddaughter, and we get compliments on them all the time. They are a bit expensive, but well worth the price. Will definitely buy more styles for spring.

My daughter usually wears this brand in Astrid Mary Janes . Size 9 was a bit tight so I got her these shoes in size 10. A bit big but she can wear them there’s wiggle room(1/4 inch) I always buy shoes a bit big so they can use it longer.

I think the sizing is true to size, though the toe area is wider than most brands. These don't run as big as most livie luca sizes, as previous viewer noted. However I have to disagree that they run even a half size bigger. I've attached a picture of a size 6 from Old Navy, and it looks and fits a true half size larger than the 5.5 I ordered of these shoes, from Livie & Luca. I also have a pair of Cat & Jack size 6, same story. These are very cute and well made. I always love the extra toe space in L&L.

Super cute shoe. My daughter just loved it but even though others said it ran big and to order down- the 10 didn’t have any room to spare in length (my daughter is a 10.5). This shoe only comes in full sizes. Since it runs wide there’s no way I’ll get away with jumping to an 11. Sadly I had to return it. Why are so many kids shoes super wide? It’s really tough to find shoes for kids with normal or slightly narrow feet. Gave high marks cause my daughter said it was comfortable and she loved the look of the shoe. If your kid has wider feet this brand will probably work well for you.

Much too small for my daughter based on the size she normally wears in other shoes like sneakers. I think the style is adorable though (cherry blossom pattern).

I bought a size 3 for my 8 year old and they fit perfectly. I ordered these especially for the straps because she doesn’t seem to be able to keep regular ballet flats on her feet and these stayed on. Style very cute for father daughter dance!

So disappointed with this purchase. I don’t typically spend a lot of money on baby shoes since they are so quickly outgrown, but I was hoping this “splurge” would be well worth it. I was so wrong and so disappointed! My baby is a crawler and the toes of these shoes were scuffed with black almost immediately. Any part of the shoe that rubs the floor in any way, turns black/ dirty looking. I tried to scrub with a magic eraser, to no avail. It did nothing but worsen the scuffed, dirty look. So disappointed!

These are really cute but NOT durable at all. The silvery fabric began to shred within a couple of weeks of use. And 8 weeks later, it's so thin my daughter's socks get wet from any rain at all and now I find myself looking for yet another pair of shoes, when I'd counted on these lasting at least a few months, if not longer. Plus the rubber is pulling away from the fabric at the base. For the price, these are not worth it. I'm disappointed, because we've bought this brand before and my impression was the shoes were well made and durable, but not so for older kids, I guess.
