Like it so much, I bought several. I keep one in the truck, several in the camper. They pack up super small, but are a nice quality blanket.

Very good picnic blanket, great for outdoor use. I do wish it was a little softer.

I liked this bag and the size of it. However, the zippers made it a no-go: I have found that this type of zipper pull just does not stand up to the test of time or repeated use. I can't purchase a backpack that has bad zippers.

Can you fit in this as a very small adult human? Possibly. Tight squeeze for an athletic petite 5'1" woman - maybe if I were an inch or two shorter and less claustrophobic, this would be a great cheap backup bag for certain situations. Bottom does not zip off ALL the way, just used to adjust the interior length (but you can't "get rid of it" as far as lightening the weight of the bag for smaller kids or, say, dogs).

Saved us from an awful airBnb experience (with yucky sheets with hair etc.). Material is a bit crinkly but repels dog hair pretty well. Warm enough to act as a proper comforter, inside fleece-y material is not the softest but pretty soft. We fit two medium-sized adult humans inside, and the fact that it is disconnected/not a proper bag was good for us (one is a warm sleeper). Wish the color options were a bit better but I'm not really thinking about style when it comes to camp blankets (this one is not super "instagram-ready" though if that's why you're buying). Price is solid for what it is, and it has earned a permanent place in my car trunk after the airBnb experience.

Okay so confession time: I definitely use this for a dog sleeping bag. Dog sleeping bags are stupid expensive by comparison. He's a 50lb mutt of athletic build and seems to find this super comfortable - I use it as a bed for him when I need a portable bed - at the office, at a hotel room, at a camp site. He usually just sleeps on top of it, but when cold conditions warranted it, he has been totally fine with me zipping up most of the way with him curled up inside (don't do this if your dog's size would get stuck obviously, but he could shuffle about just fine, if a little awkward). When he's resting for longer periods, he seems to prefer that I fold down the top and roll it up like a pillow. He looks super chill on his sleeping bag. I mean dinosaurs, adorable. I can shake off fur and dirt from the outside pretty easily, but if your dog is a heavy shedder, the inner fabric definitely will attract hair. Have not tried to fully wash yet, but I imagine the process will be similar to other synthetic bags. Also, not the most lightweight of bag choices for a dog (or toddler) because you will probably be carrying it, but also not the heaviest considering its warmth.

Great, compact, packable, convenient chair. Great for camping, sports games, hiking, kayaking, etc. only 4 stars on comfort but I don't think it was intended to be the most comfortable chair. I believe its use is for convenience and the ease of packing it.

Please note that no backpack that I could find on the current market had all the attributes I was looking for. I recently became a NYC bus & subway commuter. I reached down for my backpack one morning on the bus and nearly ripped the handle off my bag due to the weight. I needed a new bag. Attributes I liked about this bag : the top loading main compartment, the very strong Velcro closure laptop compartment right up against your back (no thief is getting in here), padded shoulder straps, loops along the shoulder straps so I could clip my phone here for easy access or hang a carabiner for other purposes, loop on the front of the bag in which to attach a carabiner (ex. carry a bike helmet), overall bag weight is light, what feels like waterproof or water resistant material, the interior is the same blue-gray hue of the Kelty Arden bag so I could easily find my black phone case & black wallet. I had been carrying two bags each day for my commute and I wanted one bag. I really wanted to like this bag…the colors are fantastic…it is a little different from other backpacks on the market. However, I did not keep it as I found other backpacks at Zappos that better suited my needs. What detracted my purchase of this bag specifically (this criteria may not pertain to you) : the two side compartments for water bottle/umbrella are just “open” meaning no elastic to add pressure to the item to keep it in place so whatever you put in these pockets has an easy chance of just falling out of the bag. I stated earlier I almost ripped my handle off my backpack and did not feel this bag would handle my haul over time. This bag is just a little too small for my daily commuting needs. The 6 inch depth for me needs to be more like 8 inches as I have discovered during my backpack research. What I usually put in my daily backpack is my breakfast, lunch & ice pack, 15” laptop (sometimes), sneakers, smelly & wet used exercise clothes, shower items for post-exercise, hairdryer (some days), bottle of water, phone charger & wires, umbrella, baseball hat, sweatshirt or jacket, bicycle helmet for CitiBike useage, any work samples I may receive that day. If you do not have all these items in your daily commute, this bag may be perfect for you.

The blanket is warm and great for camping. Used it as my blanket. A bit bulky so would only use it for car camping.

We love this camping chair! We use it for our kids soccer games, tailgating and of course camping. It sits low to the ground so you can really stretch out your legs and relax. We've given several as gifts....everyone loved it!

This a cool, fun print, but the washing instructions determined that I'm never taking it camping. Machine wash with a gentle soap and specifically not detergent (???), and tumble dry low. The smoke smell from a campfire laughs at such an idea. No problem for me. I'll use it while watching Netflix at home.

When buying this pack, I couldn't tell which color it actually was. On Kelty's website it looked more blue, and on Zappos it looked more green. Zappos had it right - it was more green. The fit of the pack is great (I'm 5'7") and it's very comfortable even on longer hikes. It fits all my gear even for a multiday trips: tent, mattress, clothes, food, stove, gear (all inside), and my camp chair strapped to the outside bottom straps. One miss for me are the bottom mesh pockets - they are quite small - I wish they were a little taller and maybe secured on top with velcro so things don't fall out. They are good for anchoring tent poles that can slide underneath the side zipper pockets, though. Other pockets are great (front, top and sides). One more thing I would change is the zipper. On Redwing 50 the zipper is more robust. On this one, it's much smaller and I feel like it may wear out much faster with a lot of use. Overall this pack is awesome - for backpacking or casual travel.

Such a cool bag. I've used it as a weekender bag, and loved it.

Great item at a great price! Lightweight and warm enough to keep cozy. I like that it packs down into the little carrying case, but it's a little larger than I was expecting; you could fit about 2 of these into a standard backpack. One note on color: I purchased the camo/red, which looked much more vivid on Zappos -- these colors were more muted in person. The red isn't very bright and the camo is so dark that the greens don't really 'pop.' I still like it, though.

I've been a crazy bag lady ever since I had a baby, 18 months ago. I carry one bag for work, another my my lunch and still another for my kids things, My large wallet ends up floating between bags. I don't love the style of most diaper bags but figured it was time to grow up and just get a big bag where I could carry everything. This bag is it!! It fits my wallet, my work things, the diaper pouch, my water bottle and has a huge opening for me to throw anything else in there. There's both an external and an internal pocket for my cell phone and keys & I bought a couple of nylon pouches to store small things that might get lost at the bottom, like chapstick and pens or whatever. The Kelty nylon is thick and durable and the black geo heather appeals to my retro sensibilities but is still neutral enough to go with everything!

I disagree with the other review. I ended up returning this pack because I was looking for something that could double as an urban pack, and this one just looked a little too campy for me. However, IMO it’s a quality pack designed very intelligently. The material isn’t cheap, just light weight. Anyone familiar with UL or even just camping/hiking gear in general will recognize this difference. The back support, especially lower lumbar seems great, although I did not test with significant weight. I happen to really like the zippers, except for the top zipper mentioned in the previous review – this is definitely catch-prone…an unfortunate finding for sure. I can see how this would have driven me crazy. Love the hideable hip belt for when you don’t want to look too campy, but again I returned it bc even without the hip belts it still looks a bit campy. Otherwise, great back, super light, super smart in design, just not the look I was going for. I’d recommend some of the Osprey Daypacks/commuter hybrids with back ventilation and minimal/removable hip belts. Happy Trails!

Great set up, features. Very comfortable except the handle at top is placed in a bad position and rubs on the back of your neck. Would have driven me crazy. Had to return.

Aesthethically pleasing. Looks like the "sports car" of its category. However, material looks and feels cheap. Quite disappointing. It even has a crumpling sound resembling that of a thick plastic bag. Totally the opposite of my first Kelty, material-wise. The hidden daisy chain is quite a pain to "fish" out especially if you have big fingers. The old style was much better and much more user-friendly in that regard. Besides, that was their signature look so why change it. Also, the zipper on the top pocket tends to get caught. The corner of the zipper pulls have quite sharp ends. I also don't know what to make of the narrow bottom of the bag. But I do like the weight and how it sits on my back on a full load. Very comfortable especially when using the sternum strap and the waist straps (that you can hide away) all at one. The top opening that converts to panel opening overcompensates for whatever I don't like about this bag though. Am I completely happy with this bag? No. Am I keeping it? Yes, because it can hold a lot for a minimalist traveler. I'll make a compromise. Love Kelty but I'm not sure if they got this one right.

Great duffel, durable and the multi-function carrying handles are very useful. The material is soft enough for comfortable wear for long periods. Stylish look and quality zippers. Fits under seat for air travel.
