These shoes are great, love the way they look and fit, but the foot bed is really hard, and I think they'll hurt my feet when running.

I wanted to write a review after having bought these shoes in May 2017. I train at the gym 5 days per week consistently and I wear these shoes every day. They have been through lifting, HIIT, and occasional running. The fact that I never think about them tells me they are a great shoe. Good stability, good grip on gym floor, and after almost a year of daily wear, there are no seams coming undone and no holes anywhere. They are not the best for running (just picked up Brooks for that), but get me through a short (3mile) treadmill run in a pinch. I would buy these again in a heartbeat, but at the rate they are holding up, it will be a while yet. My feet are big for my frame (size 9 and I’m 5’4”) and I have bunions. No uncomfortable seams on side of toe, and they have a low profile. Any shoe that makes my feet look smaller is a plus. This shoe delivers and has been my favorite after wearing Brooks Pure Cadence and Pure Flow. Highly recommend for my fellow gym rats!

Very attractive shoe with a firm base. Great for gym work.

Very little cush to these shoes; although they do have good arch support. Order a half size up--they run small.

I like this shoe and love this brand but I didn't realize how high the treads were for these. I am not a road runner so these were just the wrong pick for me. Exchanging for a another Inov-8 shoe. PS I have wide feet and short toes

I love Inov-8 Shoes... I have at least 6 pairs, but these were disappointing! All the other shoes I own are a women's 8.5 (F-lite 195 & 235, Roclites, the old tri-extremes, etc.) and fit great. These RoadTalons were way too small in an 8.5 and felt much narrower than my other Inov-8s. I will have to return them. I am sure if I will reorder these in a larger size or try to find a different style for running on gravel roads.

This states that it is a wider shoe. Unfortunately the black center piece over the arch has no give at all and constricts the entire shoe.

Bought these for my wife and she loves them for daily use and workouts. Great fit and arch support.

Great shoe, very stylish. The only thing Is when ordering, get 1 size bigger than your original size, otherwise you'll have to break them in. I'm a size 11 and got the exact size. The shoe size was the same exact as my feet, so I had to break them in which was a little painful. This shoes are for running on trails or other outdoor activities. Do not get them if you're running on cities, streets, or the gym they are not meant for that.

Great shoe, very stylish, just was too wide for my low volume foot

These shoes are awesome. I use these in competitive pistol competitions where movement is everything and half seconds count. The give a positive grip under multiple conditions and my feet are not hurting at the end of 8 hours of competition. Love the wider toe box as my feet have room to splay out when you are digging in during extreme movements. The lightness of the shoes make them feel like you aren't even wearing shoes. The only downside I have seen is that they grip so good, and I am getting so much more acceleration out of the shoes, am having to slow down a little sooner so I wont overrun the next shooting position. Thinking about acquiring a second pair for use when conditions are wet and I need to change shoes.

Being a very active man with wide feet (who has always been relegated to a tiny subset of brands that accommodate wide feet like Asics, New Balance, etc), I was a bit skeptical when I first ordered these shoes. But considering some of the reviews I found on YouTube, I figured I'd give them a chance, especially since I had a few obstacle course races coming up (Tough Mudder, Rugged Maniac & Spartan). And I'm glad I did! Apparently, their "standard" fit is the perfect width for my feet. I typically have to wear anywhere between a 2E or 4E in other shoes to achieve a comfortable fit. Your big-name companies like Nike, Adidas, etc. tend to neglect those of us with well-endowed pedal pushers. So it was nice to find a company like Inov-8 who took care of this for me. Aside from the sizing, I also love the way these shoes perform on my hikes in the mountains of Phoenix. You can literally feel how well the tread grips the different terrain types. Durability is the other highlight for me. Other than regular training, hiking and running, these shoes have also lasted pretty well through 2 of my obstacle races, so far; and I have another coming up in a few months. After the races, I just hose them off in the back yard pretty thoroughly and let them dry for my next training day. These are my first pair of Inov-8 shoes; but, if this same quality holds up, I'm a customer for life. The attached photos are from today, showing the durability after frequent training, hiking and running since I bought the shoes in July.

I really dig the look and hand feel of these shoes. Unfortunately, they are not very wide, like most minimalist shoes I’ve tried. Which sucks, because I got really excited to see them come up when I had searched for 6E wide shoes. I couldn’t even get my foot all the way into the shoe, and I got a pair two full sizes too long. These are 2E at best, really more like standard width shoes. Maybe wide in the toe box, but certainly shouldn’t pop up if you are searching for 6E shoes.

Rarely are we bummed with our order, but we were really bummed this time. We searched for shoes to fit a width of 6E. Although the number of choices were limited (we're used to that part), this shoe came up as a 'hit' in our search criteria. Yea! Super excited dude was looking forward to having these for PE class. When they arrived, they were uber narrow for his mega wide feet. There is NO WAY this should have been a hit with the search criteria we entered. So...buyers beware, it is NOT for a really wide foot. And Zappos, can you fix it so that no one else has this kind of experience with a shoe width reflecting that it will accommodate a search criteria when there is no way it will? Thanks!

I love these running shoes—so comfortable and light. I’m a long time runner and had running issues on and off for the past year. After seeing a running coach it was encouraged that I switch to a minimal shoe to help correct my form. You have to switch to these very gradually if you aren’t used to a minimal shoe. Now that I have it’s great! These will also last for a very long time. I’m thinking about getting a second (less bright) pair to wear as travel/casual shoes around town.

Nice shoe but not true to size. Ordered the Wide. Fits like a medium

These shoes were small. I've never worn a size 11 in my entire life, but 10.5 was way too small and tight.

This is a great shoe for people with medium to slightly wide feet. It is quite minimalist and has very low padding, so you'll feel each step and connect with the ground. Some advice - If you need a lot of padding or a cushion shoe, do not get this pair.

Looking for a light exercise shoe that I can also wear for performance driving. It is always a bit difficult to find the correct sizing from European manufactured shoes. Their length and width isn't always comparable to U.S. sizes. Trying this shoe again in a larger size.

Received the item and the shoes looked used! There were tears on the outside of both shoes, and the laces were knotted, as well as obvious dirt on the soles. Very disappointed!

Really cheap feeling shoe. Definitely not a $140 shoe. Front of shoe looks weird. Not sure what the company is but if this is their version of a high end shoe, Nike doesn't have to worry.
