I’m happy with my Inov-8s, a little disappointed that they arrived in a generic box vs. the legit Inov-8 box, made me wonder if the shoes where original or not.

I wear size 11-1/2 EE in all my running shoes - purchased UK (11) US size 12 in the inov-8 TrailTalon and found the size to fit my foot but a little narrow. The shoes looks great and has plenty of cushion. I overpronate and this is a neutral running shoe so had to return. Hard to find a wide stability trail running shoe. Wish this could have worked - seemed like a great shoe. If you are a neutral runner with slightly wide feet this will fit your needs.

These shoes are the best! The toe box is wide enough, shoe is light weight and the most comfortable shoe I’ve owned. My feet are wide and constantly in pain. This is the 3rd pair of Inov-8s that I’ve owned and couldn’t be happier

Had to return these. Unfortunately I feel Inov-8 is not making wide widths as well as they did years ago. I have one of their minimal sneakers for weightlifting in their wide width and I have them for 5 years now, worn at the gym only. They are STILL perfect and still comfortable. I've recently tried these Parkclaws and another new style of theirs (bought somewhere else) and had to return both of them. The toe box is simply not wide enough for someone with an EE or 3E or 4E like myself, all of which I fit into perfectly. Although I loved the style of these 275's, I simply cannot wear them. Also, the shape of the toe box is bit too slanted for me, pushing my big toe towards the center of the shoe and not letting them sit naturally. Not good. Inov-8, please make wider widths. There are people out there with BIG FEET!

Two favorite things about the shoe, regardless of activity: They weigh NOTHING, and they are SUPER breathable. When I tried running in them I could actually feel the air whooshing through the front of the shoe. That's how breathable they are. Very flat, thin, grippy sole; wider toe box than usual in athletic sneakers; firm heel and arch support. The wider toe box with more ability to spread your toes gives more of a "barefoot" cadence to walking and running, and definitely feels more stable than a normal sneaker for standing moves and weightlifting. The soles are VERY thin, but not especially flexible; because they're not flexible, I wouldn't call them "minimalist." The heel and arch support is meant to help keep your feet flat and stable, and to discourage them from rolling, flexing, or twisting. It might be too much if you have blocky heels or flatter arches (I have high arches and slightly narrow heels, so I love it). I tried these in a variety of activities and here's my verdict: - Great for standing moves (including and maybe especially weightlifting) and vertical jumping moves (plyo, etc.). - Good for walking, speed-walking, and climbing ropes. - OK for running short bursts, but tiring to run in over time. - VERY BAD for any lateral or twisting movements. Jumping jacks are fine, but even skaters are a little tough, and forget anything that requires more agility in your feet than that. Absolutely forget "studio fitness" in these shoes. These are my "boot camp" and circuit training shoes for sure.

I returned these, not going to use them. I normally wear a men's 9 US but these were 1/2 size too small; most importantly they feel like there is a lump in the heel, very uncomfortable. I would have tried a 9.5 but they feel really uncomfortable.

I wanted this shoe to work because it is so very comfortable. I work out at my home gym and the soles of the shoes were too slippery for the composite flooring I have installed. I wear a 10.5 in Asics so I order both 10.5 and 11. The 10.5 was about a 1/4 - 1/2 size too small (in black) but the size 11 (in blue) seemed to fit as if they were a full size larger in both the toe and the width. Bottom line, the shoe is well made and extremely comfortable, and I may have dealt with the slightly short 10.5 if the soles had more grip.

Shoelaces way too short to even get a proper single tie, and every time I loosen the laces to remove the shoe, the laces come out of the top eyelets, which requires a lace re-insertion for those eyelets. C'mon, inov-8! Shoes are narrow, too. Disappointing. Returned.

My son has literally had this same pair of shoes (same color. Black/white) from size 3 to size 8. He’s going to die if they ever stop Producing. There’s an occasional difference over the years of ordering them. But these size 8, by far have been the best quality in the last few purchases. Highly recommend !!

I really wanted to like this shoe. I have been wearing inov-8 shoes for over a decade and since they discontinued the F-Lite 250, I was looking for something similar. I really like the feel of these shoes, the width was great, the drop was exactly what I wanted, and the weight was superb. It was length of the shoe that did it in for me. I wear 10.5 so I got those, and were too short, so I exchanged for the 11s, again, too short, and the 11.5s where just too big over all. Despite all the great qualities, Inov-8 missed the mark on the length. Unfortunately, overall their shoes have been getting shorter over time and it just killed these for me. Main take away: go a half size larger at least.

I had several pairs of the original 230, so I was ecstatic when they brought them back. Same look, and almost the same feel. The inside has been upgraded and no so basic, but they feel the same. Same drop, and weight. As many other have said, they run about a half size small. In the originals I wore 10.5, but the 11s in V2 fit better now. So if you liked the original F-Lite 230s, you'll certainly like these.

I wear a 10.5 in most shoes. I ordered a 10.5 in this shoe and it felt more like a 9.5 I couldn't even get my foot in it. It seems like it would have been a good shoe for obstacle course racing but I would need order another pair to find out for sure. Definitely order a full size bigger if you want to try this shoe.

I thought these were very supportive and would be Brest for gym workouts. I just didn’t like the bulkiness of the sides so I am returning. I also didn’t like the look of the toe. So for me it was more aesthetics than anything else.

This is a great shoe, if it matches what you are looking for--which it does for me. It is low-drop (not quite zero-drop), flexible sole, little to no "toe curl", no arch support (as recommended by many podiatrists to help strengthen your arch to protect against plantar fasciitis), generous toe box, low profile heel counter and a smooth, cushioned ride. And it looks like a shoe, not an aircraft carrier or an Orca whale. This shoe runs a bit wider in the mid foot than the Parkclaw and the Trailclaw I tried, which is nice because most standard widths tend to be unnecessarily narrow in my opinion. I found the length to be accurately sized for me. Why can't more companies make this type of shoe? Are you listening Merrell? We don't need one more variation of the same Moab shoe.

I really wanted to like this shoe. I was in the market for a new running sneaker as I was starting training for a half marathon. I like a shoe that is light and has a tighter/closer fit to my foot. After wearing these shoes around the house I was hopeful they were a miracle. They were comfortable and very lightweight. I trialed these shoes on a treadmill run and sadly ended up returning them. The heel is well cushioned, but with every stride I felt like I was in bare feet when the upper part of my foot touched the treadmill. If I had a greater need for walking shoes I would have absolutely kept them as they would be great for going to amusement parks etc. where you want comfy shoes for the long haul, but for harder stride activities like running I wouldn't recommend. (I marked 1 star off because of the running aspect because these are listed as running shoes, but as a shoe for walking/not running it was 5 star comfort)

Great shoe (and looks awesome in the bright green!) however, I found these to be too narrow in the toe box. I don't have this issue with other Inov8 shoes but these seem to be made for less splaying of the toes. I purchased the Trail Talon at the same time for comparison and felt that my toes were much happier. These are much like a minimalist shoe but with some extra tread at the bottom, so if you're someone that needs more support I recommend getting insoles. Other than that, construction is solid and I have no doubt these can go through the woods and back with zero issue.
