Very comfortable, but half size too small and narrower that comparable Bondi leather that I own.

I LOVE THESE SHOES. I can't wear other shoes now, I've been ruined. I am in nursing school and a full time nurses aide, I am on my feet ~16 hours a day on my long days and these shoes are the answer to my prayers. After a long day my feet would hurt soooo bad that walking around the house at night would be extremely painful, not to mention the searing back pain (disc problems). Now I can't say that these shoes have fixed my back completely, but they really help with the pain, and I no longer have foot pain even after 16hrs. These shoes really absorb the shock, and the soles sort of move with you. So worth the money, I'm thinking of getting another pair in one of the bright colors. The only thing I could think of to improve these shoes is I wish the arch support was a little better.

I got these because I read all the reviews and how amazing they are... so wrong! I got them and they felt amazing. Like pillows. A small amount tight across the top but it was so small I thought it would just stretch into my feet. After one day of wearing them, my feet were killing me. After two weeks of wearing them pain in the palm of my feet, in my arches and the sole. And after a month or so of wearing them daily, I was completely going over on them. They had no support and my feet where in constant pain. The the price, my feet should have felt like clouds but nowhere near. I wrote Zappos and boy-oh-boy did Zappos do right by me. Love Zappos! The shoes... :( so sad cause they are so pretty. Specially for the price - what a rip-off.

Just got these last week and WOW, they are as close to perfect as Hoka has made. Super roomy toe box, heel fit perfect, and cushioning for days.

This was my 8th Hoka purchase. I have loved every other pair of Hokas I have owned except for the Gaviota. They are really firm in the footbed. The soft insoles that Hoka is know for, are not present in this shoe. I will look for older models that I know are soft.

Love this shoe. Walk in them daily. I have a knee that needs to be replaced; wearing these while walking, the knee pain isn't as bad and has buckled much less than in other shoes. I feel like I have a bounce to my step with the cushioning. Actually have purchased a couple more pair because we all know, they will change something about them next year...prefer to put the struggle of finding the right she off for a bit. ;) Use to wear Altra's - so glad I changed to the Hoka One Ones Clifton 4!

Podiatrist recommended these. They are lightweight and cushiony and so comfortable

Very good support and excellent cushioning but runs too narrow. Tried Arahi model as it has an option for wide, but it has no where near as much cushioning as this. I do wish Hoka is listening and comes out with a wide option !

This has never happened. Hands down, the most comfortable shoes for my crummy feet. No problem for orthotics. The toe-bed is wide enough for my bunions, but it fits perfectly at the heel. I LOVE the dropped heel feeling. This is it! I hope they never drop this style. I did buy 1/2 size larger than I normally do.

Normally I can't wear Hoka because their toe box is too narrow for my feet. However, the toe box on the Stinson ATR 4 is as wide as my Altra shoes. I have no neuroma pain when I wear these and the cushioning is great. They are very comfortable and have good arch support. The soles are very grippy on the trails. I wore them during a 25K I recently ran and they performed very well and my feet felt great. I'll be wearing them during my upcoming 50K, too.

These shoes are too small. They are not a true size 8. I wear an 8 in HOKA tennis shoes, but these slides are about 7 or 7 1/2

These offer fantastic support. I am a moderate over-pronator, and these seem to provide the most support I've received in a shoe.

I struggle with Achilles Tendonitis and was looking for some relief when running (approx 30 miles/week). These shoes are so soft and cushy, I feel like I'm wearing slippers! I definitely plan to continue with them on some, but not all of my runs. They seem to "work" my foot a bit more than a stiffer shoe, but all in all, love the shoe!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these flips!!!! I have three pairs of Hoka shoes, and they're awesome. But, after reading reviews of the recovery flips I fully expected the flips would not meet the very high standard set by Hoka shoes. I'm so glad I ordered anyway because I've been struggling with plantar fasciitis. When I wear the recovery flips, no more plantar fasciitis! The strap is soft, and feels great. The footbed has wonderful support with just enough spongy feeling to be super comfortable. I do have a narrower foot and can't wear many flips because the straps are way to large for me. When I find sandals and flips I can wear I am so happy. . . and grateful!!! I'd love to see more cuter color combinations like in the shoes, but I'll take these flips any way I can get them! Thanks Hoka! Keep up the great work!!!!

Overal Disappointment. I wear a size 14 and the shoe felt a full size smaller. 15s would have been too big. The toebox was also narrow compared to my previous Hokas. I was also concerned about durability. Obviously I haven’t run in them, but they didnt feel like they could take a beating on trails. Went with New Balance instead.

I turned to Hoka a few years ago due to plantar fascitis issues (years of running & arthritis diagnosis in past decade). I've tried many models but these are my new favorite. I have neutral to supinating feet, and high arches. I really liked the Stinson model until they inexplicably decided the normal width wasn't wide enough and decided to make them look like clown shoes. The Challenger ATRs are narrower and at least a half size smaller. Like at least one of the other reviewers I used to run in Brooks for years when I was doing marathon training, and these feel similar.
