These boots are super cute and stylish. They also feel true to size and the leather has a lot of give to accommodate a wider foot; however, they are already falling apart out of the box. You can see the glue used to attached the sole to the upper boot, because it already looks like the two pieces are starting to peel apart. There is also glue visible on the heel and part of the upper boot. The pair I received had several scuff marks and a chunk taken out of the heel. The heel itself is made out of some cheap foam material that does not seem durable at all. The leather seems buttery not because it is luxurious, but because it is thin. The stitching is loose or incomplete in some areas. They cheaped out on just about every aspect of this shoe and it's not hard to tell. These boots are not well made, period. At this price point (around $130 at the time of this review), I wasn't expecting a pair of heritage boots, but I was expecting something better than a one season special.

I love this boot. Very nice soft (if thin) leather. They do run narrow. I never buy wide shoes but I exchanged my 7.5M for a 7.5W and the wide was definitely better. I tend to wear 7/7.5 in most shoes. (In the photo the shoe on the right is the 7.5W and the left is a 7.5M) These are very stylish on. The red is really a beautiful color, much more neutral than the image portrays. I’m looking forward to wearing these a ton and dressing them up and down.

I had a similar style shoe that I wore to death and was looking desperately to replace. When I finally found these I had to get them right away. These shoes are a beaut. The leather is very thin and soft to the touch. I ordered the wide width and they fit perfectly and are so comfortable. The zipper side makes them so easy to put on and off. You can adjust the tightness with the laces and once that’s set, you never have to lace them again. Really really happy with this purchase.

With this wonderful little boot, I figured out that I need to have the ankle fit snug for a good fit. Many of the other styles I tried, though beautiful, were so open at the ankle (wide feet does NOT automatically mean thick ankles, as some reviewer erroneously stated) that they caused me to slip around in the heel.) As we age, many of us have bunions, or have had surgery, or have broken a toe - all of which cause the foot to widen.

These are falling apart after only a month of 2 day a week use. I had received the brown ones as a gift and liked them so much I went back for these, but that was a mistake. Immediately the soft leather ripped and continues to do so in a way that the other pair did not. Not worth the money.
