Mine are 3 years old. Were great for cold Bears games for two years. And they handled snow and ice great! Felt confident when walking around on the street or sidewalks. Overall I'm happy with them. But this season they didn't keep my feet warm during the games even with foot warmer packs so they got to go.

Wears on you ankles on little toe. Took a month to break in. Waterproof though works as advertised. Toe cup not what I expected. Goes at an angle...an overhead picture would be nice. Soles are great though, 12 hour shift on my feet and the bottom of my foot feels great.
  • Chippewa by American Handcrafted GQ Tan Rodeo Boot Posted: Nov 19, 2014 Reviewer: Matt from Watertown, MA Overall: 5 Stars Comfort: 5 Stars Look: 5 Stars
Awesome boots. I bought a pair at my usual sneaker size which turned out to be a full size too large. I eBayed those and bought a pair in the right size. And man, they are comfy now, especially after breaking in a bit. As for winter weather, they are pretty water/snow resistant, especially after applying some leather protectant. However, they by themselves are not particularly warm. The boot material is only leather with no lining, so it will get pretty cold if you are standing out in the snow or whatever. You will definitely want to pair these with some thick warming socks, but then you will stay pretty comfortable in these and not have it soak through.
