The German engineering got it right, even in a pair of shoes. These are a bit chunky on the feet in a similar way I feel a clog is chunky but like a clog these are very comfy on the feet and to walk in. cute open toe allows your fresh pedicure to show and takes away some of the chunky. Fit: My foot is a size 7 medium width in most shoes, just verging on a wide width in some shoes. I ordered the size 37. The medium width is generous not tight and the insole of the shoe is comfortable. The back strap is adjustable. The platform gives me some height without any feeling of having unsecure footing while walking. This might not be the skinny strappy type of sandal that a young girl might want as the foot is more covered, but I am not a young chick anymore. This is stylish enough for a backyard picnic or out to dinner while still being a shoe I can walk in.

I really liked this shoe when it came---fit well, very comfortable, a little height, adjustable in the front. But the first time I put it on to go out, it squeaked and creaked so loudly, I took them off before I left the house. Too bad.

This shoe is super comfy. I have a wide foot & usually have to go half or 1 size larger for shoes. This shoe accommodates the width very well & you can also adjust the front strap to widen/narrow if you need to. Because of the slightly wider fit I was able to get a true shoe size (length of my foot). It weighs nothing so it's light on your feet. The leather is soft & breaks in very quickly. I had no rubbing on my toes or my heel which I haven't experienced before in a peep toe or a sling back! Love the fit and comfort so much I bought a second pair in red. I wore them on vacation and they survived being soaked in small rivers and sand without anything ungluing.

I've been wanting these shoes for two summers, I finally got them and I couldn't be happier! Most people seem to think that these fit true to size, but that wasn't the case for me. I have narrow feet with long toes. I'm normally a 7.5 and occasionally an 8. At first I ordered the 38, but my toes peeked out over the edge. I returned them for a 39 and now they fit perfectly.
I'd also recommend: clarks (indigo), pikolinos, fsny, börn, bass

Very comfortable shoe! I bought them to wear on a trip to Germany/Budapest/Prague (ever conscious of trying to not look like an American tourist). Unfortunately, it was too cold most of the time to wear these, and I don't think the sole would protect you from the cobblestones. I do wear them here in Atlanta with capris and dresses, and get a lot of compliments! I usually wear a 39, but went up to a 40 based on other reviews. I love these shoes!

These shoes are perfect for spring, summer and fall in the northeast; the cork sole may look more appropriate for warm weather! They are comfortable, true to size and have a very smart and stylish look and feel. I have a few pairs of shoes from Worishofer, and i love them all. For the price, you can't go wrong.
