Worishofer Reviews
This shoe is lightweight -- perfect for travel; comfortable -- I can wear them all day; and stylish -- they look fashionable and smart. Zappos has gained a new customer.
Unlike everyone else I think they run small. I wear 6-6.5 and ordered the 6 per quite a few suggestions. My heel buts right up against the edge. Needless to say I'll be returning them as they are too small.
Comfy and cute in a old school way. They run wide for sure, but for a run around town sandal/shoe, they are perfect. Snake skin looks great.
These shoes were cute and pretty comfortable. Those with wide feet would need a wider width. My only issue with this shoe was that the upper enclosed too much of my forefoot to really feel or look like a sandal. They are more of a peep-toe, which I'm not a fan of on my foot. You couldn't really see my toes. I liked the buckle (too many sandals these days use velcro closures which I'm NOT into at all - the sound, the catching on other fabrics/ruining knits and shorter lifespan than buckles just doesn't fly). I may end up with another style of worishofers in the future but for now, I found another pair with a lower heel for every day wear.
The conversion chart for Euro sizes is not quite right for these. I wear a true 8 yet these are about 1/4" too short for me; otherwise would have been fine. Too bad. I may try to order a 39 instead.
These felt like they would be comfortable -- very light and cushy -- but too small. I'm usually a 10.5 or 11 and ordered the 11-12. Had to return them.
Love these! I usually don't get a slide because they don't stay on very well, but these have an adjustable width and a little bump for your toes to hang on to. They are very very lightweight and come in pretty colors. I got the blue python and couldn't be happier. I think I will get at least one other color.
I have narrow feet, so I tightened mine one notch, and now they're great. Wonderfully comfortable; got compliments the first day I wore them. I'm already contemplating a 2nd pair in another color.
I love these shoes; however, they don't hold up. I bought them in August, toward the end of summer, wore them occasionally, and this year when I took them out they look beat. The cork soles chip away and they just don't last very long. For the price, I think they should last more than half a season. But I did love them.
I have hallux rigidus and have hard time finding sandals that are both cute and comfortable for lots of walking. These fit the bill and allow me to chase my four year old around. I normally wear a 35 in Worishofers, but the 36 worked in this style.
I now have many Worishofer shoes because they take away the pain of a neuroma in my left foot. I wear the 811 for work, the 583 for swing dancing, and this one I wear as an around-the-house, doing errands shoe (I have seen photos of celebs wearing these). Easy and comfortable. I have them in red and bone. I wear a 7-1/2 and the 38 fits perfectly. SO grateful for orthopedic shoes that look so cute.
I love the color, but when I put them on the leather felt so stiff if hurt the top of my feet. The size was okay, but if I went up a size they would be waaaay too big, especially since the leather will stretch. Sadly returning.
I wear these for swing dancing. I have a neuroma in my left foot, but I can't feel it when I wear these shoes! I am 5'7" and wear a 7-1/2" shoe - I ordered the 38, which fits well. I got a blister near the base of the nail on the large toe from where the leather hits it. I am using a Band-Aid until I am sure I will not get a blister. These have a great retro look for swing and certainly can also be worn on the street, although I am wearing the 811 this spring (no blistering with the 811).
I have 4 pairs of Worishofers including two pairs of these in 2 different colors. Love the look. They are the most comfortable. I am a size 7.5 and wear 38 in any style of this brand.
These are unbelievably comfortable! My husband said they look stiff but looks can be deceiving... They are soft and supportive in the sole, soft in the leather, light weight, there's are even toe grooves that felt like made specially for my toes. My only complaint is that it maybe a bit too wide for my feet. I had to lace them all the way tight to fit. I ordered a medium width. so I think I am between narrow and medium. (I never wore narrow.) The style is not for everyone. If you like this style, these shoes are worth every penny!
These are really comfortable and light; though a very tiny bit too small. The front could be about 1/4 inch longer as my big toe reaches the end of the front of the shoe, and almost hangs off the end, if not for this I would keep them. I am a 9.5 and got the 40.
I recently visited Buenos Aires where I danced the tango six to eight hours a day. When I came home I was diagnosed with a Morton's neuroma in my left foot. I have a closet full of shoes, but could not wear any of them due to extreme pain. I also could not go barefoot - more pain. I started shopping at Zappos for "orthopedic" shoes - hideous! Then I found these...aaahhh. I tried many styles and many felt good, but this is the style I love. I now have six pair of them to go with all my summer dresses and skirts, and I wear the slides for bedroom slippers. I can walk freely and forget my neuroma. Hallelujah! One thing - I am 5'7 and wear a 7-1/2. At first I thought the 38 was too short, but when I tried the 39 I swam in them. It depends how close you are to the length - some may find them too short, others just right. I chose to stay with the 38 and my toe peeps over a teeny bit, but looks and feels fine. They have a ridge under the toes, and a 'bump' under the arch and this is what cushions the neuroma so that I cannot feel it when I walk. It's magic - they are orthopedic but so cute - absolutely everyone compliments me on them.
The shoes are too big all over. I hope this does not mean that all European size 35 shoes are going to be too big for me. I really have a hard time finding shoes that fit.
Great shoe! I wear an 8.5 and a 39 fits perfectly. Love the opal color, very lightweight and soft. I live and work in Chicago and do a ton of walking, and these were great right out of the box. Will be ordering more colors. Not too "granny" for this 29 year old!
Order up! Order UP! I wear a 9.5 and so I looked at the Euro sizes and saw 40=9.5-10 and thought-great! No. This company's shoe size chart is completely wackadoo. I found myself having to return the shoes for a 41=10-10.5! A size I have never ordered before...yet that is the size that fit me. Not even loosely-a perfect fit. So, definitely order the full size up. Otherwise the leather is super soft and supple and the shoe is lightweight. The leather straps don't dig in and I have borderline wide feet. The blue is a fresh and unusual color (the red is a little overplayed-everyone has a red pair by now). I give two thumbs up, except for the confusing size chart.
