These shoe trees are affordable and work great. I own 2 pairs which is more than enough- a few hours after you put them in you can take them out again (once the shoe is dry). In narrow shoes they have trouble fitting in but otherwise no complaints.

I place the SM size in 8.5/42 EUR loafers, made by Bruno Magli, Italian and expensive. The shoes had fit excellently until these stretched them. I believe the spring tension is too high. I also believe that these ought to be adjustment-based rather than spring-based. In any case, they did great damage to my shoes.

Gave this to my husband for a Christmas gift. He's an active duty military officer & needs a place to police his shoes & boots regularly. He LOVED this all-in-one concept w/a place to put the shoe/boot. We LOVE Zappos!

Invaluable - keep expensive or every-day shoes from wearing out. I see a big difference when I use these in shoes keeping their shape and staying dry.
These are great. Love them. They are a bit thinner than I thought. They aren't a full mold, but as a basic boot tree they work great!

I really liked the look of this and the products inside. However, the top piece that helps you to open the box and place your foot on would not attach to the lid. The screw holes were totally off kilter. Very disappointed.
I got this as a Valentine's gift for my fiance and he loves it. He says it holds the ties well and it stays balanced. Really sharp looking hanger too!

Always buy shoe trees for my dress shoes. They last years longer if I use them when storing the shoes (gotta put them in just after I take them off). These trees have cedar in the heal and all the wood seems nice an absorbent (to pickup the moisture in the shoe). Highly recommend them.

Worked nicely, unfortunately there is a flaw in the wood and it split. I will order another pair when my refund is completed
First time I bought shoe trees so this review holds little validity. I think the trees are great. They smell nice and fit well. The only thing that caught me off guard was the Zappos! Emblem in the gold which may have been my fault for not looking closely.
This is a good basic shoe care kit. Nothing too fancy, but nice brushes and rags. I chose it because it has what you need without the extra cost of a fancy wooden box that you don't really need. Get your shoes looking good and be about your business.
I was hoping that these shoe trees could also be used as shoe stretchers. No so. If you purchase them, do so strictly for absorbing odor.

As usual, what I ordered, good quality, fast shipping, and that wonderful Zappos guarantee. What more could you ask for. Thanks
I bought 2 pairs and one of the shoes does not stay down in the boot. I put a rock on the heel portion and it stays.
Quality cedar--does the trick at a reasonable price. BTW, these are not meant to make your shoes wider despite what other reviewers have written.
Unfortunately, when I tried to remove the shoe tree from the shoes, I could not. It took one half an hour and a screw driver to remove it. The shoe trees were scratched and not returnable. I am unable to use them anymore due to the difficulty of removing the shoes.

This adjustable shoe tree was exactly what I needed to extend the life of my shoes. I like the simple cedar design, and easy to insert and take out - would definitely recoommend this product.
I have been looking for an old-fashioned shoe stretcher for awhile, and was happy to find these -- cedar and made in the US. I did find that the sizing conversion in the description is incorrect, however. I wear a size 7 shoe; I bought both the small (5-6.5) and the medium (7-8.5) to compare. I could not get the size medium in my 7B boots or shoes; the small is the correct size and fits nice and snug in my boots. The back of the box has a size chart, which clearly shows that a small is for 5-7.5B and a medium is for 8-9.5B shoes, which seems to be more accurate than the size chart in the description.
