While awaiting a flight in Atlanta, longtime friends, Patricia Polito Miller and Barbara Bradley Baekgaard noticed a huge lack in feminine-looking luggage. This inspired them to found their line, Vera Bradley, in March 1982, out of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Vera Bradley brings us a wide array of products including luggage, handbags, and clothing. Not only that, but they offer a fabulous line of accessories which includes wallets, cosmetic cases, tote bags, scarves and diaper bags. Vera Bradley is known for their amazing collection of colors and patterns making them easily identifiable.
In addition to the brands original styles, colors, and patterns, for over 30 years, they have been known for their consistent quality. This ensures that Vera Bradley customers are customers for life.
Pretty and superbly functional, but this bag is a little too stiff and ladylike for me. I'm sure the leather would soften over time. There is a nice large slip pocket for a phone that fit my big Samsung Galaxy Note perfectly. Great vertical pocket on the front, and plenty of good pockets inside. Also the strap was long enough to hang low on my hip (and I'm tall and plus sized). Really great bag but not quite for me.
After searching through all of the designs and dimensions, we thought this Vera Bradley wristlet, for my teenage daughter, would be perfect. The design itself is great, with a separate compartment for the phone, and interior wallet on the other side. The blue is prettier in person than on the computer monitor, and it is all the same shade of blue (not two-tone.) We were very disappointed in having to return it. This was due to the fact that the flap for the phone is a magnetic flap, and it is way too loose and not secure. It kept on flipping up, if she did not hold it down, which would definitely prove annoying if you keep it. If the flap was secure, we definitely would have kept it, so hopefully Vera Bradley will improve that feature in the future.
Absolutely what I was looking for, and I shopped all over, even Amazon, and Zappos always wins. Vera Bradley are always good buys, just the right size for travel using a 'day' purse in my knapsack. Love it. Phone on the inside, though, the outside pocket is too pen to trust. Love!
Love my new bag. Big enough for all my things but not overly big. Light weight and very comfortable. Love Vera Bradley
It looks just like it's advertised and feels like the company's other products. It fits my iPhone 6s with its low-profile dual layer hard shell case with no problems. It is hard to mold though, so if you are carrying all of the cards or more than a few dollars (forget folding money or keeping business cards!) it's all bulky and weird.
This is such a gorgeous scarf. I love the varied patterns and the blues are beautiful and go with many cool shades. It kind of has a vintage vibe to the pattern. It is very delicate and light enough for cold office syndrome during summer.
Any time Vera Bradley offers a pair of sleep shorts I am quick to purchase them. They last for years and always come in fun prints. The Paisley in Paradise print is bright and colorful. VB has changed to a knit fabric and they are extremely comfortable. The length feels slightly longer than a 3" inseam and they fit very loose. I feel that they are one size bigger than marked.
This bag may say Vera Bradley but not made as well and too large to accommodate daily needs. Just too big.
Be aware that Vera Bradley has changed the lining on their new patterns. Instead of the coordinating cotton lining, the lining is now a solid color crinkly polyester that sounds and feels like a stiff plastic bag. I am a long time fan of the Hipster; I bought my first one in 2001. But I will not be buying more, as long as this lining is in place. Bag looks and feels cheap, but it is not. This price? No way, Vera.
This VB bag is made of quality, soft leather. The printed colorful lining is what I would expect in this brand. There are adequate slots for credit cards, and the zippered center section is handy for coins and bills. My iPhone 6+ fits well, but this being a very small bag, only a few other essentials, such as lip gloss, Kleenex, will fit inside. The outside zippered pocket holds my keys, although it does budge from my key fob and decorative key ring. Besides being very small, the main problem I find with this bag is how it fastens. It takes both of my hands to get the two little hooks to take hold, which is not very practical. I also feel the bag to be a bit pricey compared to other bags of its size and quality.
