Very good for skate boarding, class SK-8 Style needs to remain in production. Moderate to no arch support. The canvas style appears tighter than the suede. Use a good insole for these shoes, but not as much as the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star brands. When using insoles don't go any size lower for a wide or irregular foot; however, order a half size smaller for a narrow foot.

Comments and compliments on a Classics. These skate shoes feel good and better with Miracle Molding Insoles. Just a reminder, if you consider implementing Miracle Molding Insoles in these classics, consider ordering your normal size on narrower shoes because of the space these insoles take or maybe a half size bigger, moving a half or full size lower will cramp your feet, especially the toes.

I bought these shoes as a gift to my husband for his birthday (30) he says he loves them and reminds him of his first pair of skate shoes but even more comfortable. Vans were all he would wear but he'd wear out the soles fairly quick. As for comfort he has never said this about the other, popular, (and more expensive) skate shoes.

I actually ordered 2 pairs of these. One was for my oldest daughter, and they were so nice-looking that my youngest daughter wanted a pair, also. They look much better when actually worn than they do in a picture. My rating is based on my girl's comments.

I just got these in the mail (purchased them elsewhere). Ordered them in brown and black and was totally disappointed. I actually ordered Report's Miley boot from Zappos and liked them much better than the Tianna boot. For one, the slouch on the Tianna was totally different for all 4 boots! The toe of the boot was really hard and pressed down on my toes so I just knew that these were going to be trouble. They also make me look like a pirate version of Olive Oyl because I have really thin legs. I'm sure these look great on girls with fuller calves, but if you have really thin calves and want a comfortable boot, I would avoid these. The Reports may not be suede, but to me, they look and feel MUCH better. :)

These are really great shoes. They run a little big about half a size big. The only down side is that they don't really have any arch support, but other than that they look and feel great!

SKATE AND DESTROY!!!
These are a must for any thrasher. The ankle support is like none other. If you want a solid shoe that won't tear up quickly and offers full protection, these are the only solution. From the curb to the pool SK8-Hi kids.

I think these shoes are awesome, but don't give up if they aren't that comfortable at the start, they do break in in a few days. They skate pretty well. I've had them for a week, and the only signs of wear are on the left shoe which is a little rubber wear that’s it. Now stop reading and buy them!!!!!

Great Shoes, Long Wearing!
These shoes are great; I bought them in a size larger than my son usually wears, because he has a very wide foot. I know that Vans will never let us down as far as quality and style go. We also had a great experience with Zappos! Super fast, free shipping-how can you beat that? We now know where to go for our Vans!

Impossible shipping speed -
I can't hardly believe how fast the shipping is. I ordered online after dinner on a Sunday woke up early Monday and the shoes were at the door mysteriously. Has Zappos found a way to teleport items? You tell me.

Vans Rock -
Vans SK8-Hi™ Core Classics [Black/Black Suede] are very hard to find and are only run in very limited productions. I think only once or twice per year. I chose these over any other as the all black look is slick and does not show dirt n grime! I use em for skating, casual and dress shoes. You’re a fool if ya don't like Vans anyway!
