I love these shoes! They take a little while to break in, but are easy to slip in and out of after they are. I got the Deep Red/Black ones and the red color is not as bright as they are on the screen, which was actually better for me.\r\nVANS FOR LIFE!

Great daily wear shoe - These run true to size, are comfortable on wide feet, and are about as simple and clean as shoes can get. Expect a few days of break-in. These shoes are also great for dead lifting/squatting at the gym, as they're soles are level and stable.

Not for big feet - I've been trying to find some canvas shoes to wear on the weekends and to class but these are not it. Although I have seen them on smaller feet and though they were adorable, they are so unflattering on size 11 feet. It seems that after a certain size they lose the cute factor and just look like giant men’s shoes on a woman's feet. Were I to have smaller feet I would definitely order these. I did order them a half size small and the fit was perfect although they are a little wide.

Rockin in my blue shoes - I like colorful shoes. I got these in blue. They're pretty awesome. Not too good if it’s cold out. Overall good though.

Great - Love the look of the shoe. A bit flat (feels great for my flat feet though). I really love them.

My son loves these shoes! I bought these for my son, and he loves them. They fit him great, and are easy on-easy off just like he likes them. The thing he most likes is that no one else in his school has a pair like them. He enjoys being an individual and being comfortable, and these shoes fit him perfect on all accounts!

Awesome shoes - I've never really been a fan of this particular shoe style with the straps, but I've been a Vans fan for almost 8 years now, and these really stood out to me when I went shopping around on Zappos. The other reviews had me a little worried that they'd be too narrow for my wide feet, so I went to the local Vans store in the mall to try them on. To my surprise they were the same width of the Vans shoes I was already wearing, and the shoe fit fine when I tried it on. They didn't have the black/black style I wanted, so I came back home and ordered them from Zappos. I was absolutely thrilled when I found that Zappos had upgraded me to next day air mail at no extra charge, and I've been wearing them since. They're pretty stiff at first, but they seem to be slowly breaking in. I think the rubber toe rubbed the top of my foot raw a little, but nothing significant. They have that Converse look without being uncomfortable, and I'd imagine they'd look as good with shorts/skirts as they do with jeans. Love 'em!

I love my Prison Issues. Zappos is awesome. I got my shoes WAY earlier than predicted, and they fit perfectly. They hurt a little the first day, but after about two hours, they were broken in. Great shoes. Great website.

Not exactly true to size - It’s a nice looking shoe, but loose. I wear a size 8.5-9 depending on the shoe brand. The length of this shoe compared to my Adidas 8.5 shoe is the same, but because the material is so much thinner than the leather of normal shoes, it fits like a 9. I'd buy a half size smaller.

Great Shoes! My brother likes the loop and hook style shoes. The gray two-tone color is hard to find. The shoes are light weight, comfortable, and easy to get on and off. My brother is hard to please, but he had no complaints about these shoes.
