Too much fun!! These are great shoes! I have 19 month old twins, and bought this pair for my son. His sister liked his so much they fought like crazy so I had to buy her the pink and grey ones. My son has wide feet, so they were a little hard to get on at first, but after the wear in period they are fitting great! They remind me so much of the 80's. I get compliments everywhere I go. People just love them. If you want a fun retro shoe this is the way to go.

Cool Kicks - These are a great shoe but they run big. The collar padding is very comfy, but I wish they had better arch support.

Great shoes!! These shoes are so cute! My daughter is 2 and we couldn’t get her to keep shoes on. Now she won’t take them off! We have got a lot of compliments on them to, especially from her sisters friends.

About Vans Kids
Vans started in Anaheim, CA in 1966 1966 Paul Van Doren and three partners opened the first store at 704 E. Broadway in Anaheim, Calif. on March 16. The Van Doren Rubber Company is unique in that it manufactures shoes and sells them directly to the public.
Early 70s - Skateboarders who like Vans’ rugged make-up and sticky sole are seen sporting Vans all over Southern California.
1976 - The Vans #95, now known as the Era, with a padded collar and different color combinations, is designed by Tony Alva and Stacy Peralta and becomes the shoe of choice for a generation of skateboarders
1979 - The Vans #44 is introduced and with the help of skateboarders and BMX riders, Vans Slip-ons become the rage in Southern California. By the end of the 70s, Vans has 70 stores in California and sells through dealers both nationally and internationally
1997 - Vans begins creating the world’s leading action sports series with the purchase of the Triple Crown of Surfing; by 2000 the Vans Triple Crown Series will include events in skateboarding, BMX, surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, and freestyle motocross
Fun Facts/Trivia:
1982 - Vans Slip-ons gain international attention and appeal when they are worn by Sean Penn in the film Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
2000 - Vans finances the production of Dogtown and Z-Boys, Stacy Peralta’s look at the beginnings of skateboarding and the personalities that evolved the sport. The film takes the Audience Award and Best Director Award at the Sundance Film Festival. The film is narrated by Sean Penn.

Great Shoe! This is the cutest shoe. My little boy loves his "flag" shoes. I get so many positive comments from people. This is our second pair and I plan on buying this classic shoe until my son says "no more".

Love them - Bought these for both of my nephews 1 and 2 years old. The two year old won't take them off. He loves them. The baby is getting ready to take his first steps in them!!

Spreading the joy of these classic Vans... These shoes are awesome. I've worn Vans for 21 years and now I'm initiating my son into the Vans family. Great fit, great looks...what more can you ask for?? Now it's time to get him on a skateboard!!

Great service - The vans are great for a 3 yr old, who is very independent. She can put them on by herself. She looks really cute in these shoes, because her mom and uncle have the same shoes. We try shoes on in the store, then order from Zappos. The service, prices and free shipping cannot be beat.
Brands I'd also recommend: try privos for true comfort, adults standing or walking all day

Great shoes for hard-playing kids - Vans makes an awesome shoe! The pair I purchased was a replacement for the identical pair my son outgrew. They are extremely comfortable (I bought some adult vans for myself after he loved his) and they hold up to kid wear and tear. They run a bit narrow and long so if your child has wide feet, they may be a little tight. This style will stretch slightly but you may want to order a half size down from what the child usually wears to adjust for the length. They can be machine washed and air dried when they get dirty and are a really cute shoe for a little guy. I am very happy with these shoes and will continue to buy Vans.

Cute and Cool - These shoes are adorable. They are a bit stiff right off the bat and will take some breaking in. My son is 18 mos old and doesn't walk as smoothly in them because of the stiffness. He usually wears "See Kai Run" shoes that are really flexible. But these are too cute to return.

Great shoes for toddlers. I was very pleased with this purchase of the Vans Kid's Classic Slip-On shoes for my son. He seems to like them; to me they look like a sturdy shoe. The only problem I encountered is to put the shoe on is fairly difficult. The opening isn't adequate enough for the size. I've had to purchase a shoe horn to get them on my son's foot.

Totally awesome! Gnarley! Tubular! I bought the pink/black checked Vans as a gift for my friend who recently had a baby and who shares my love for the 80s. These are almost like the ones I had in junior high! I haven't given them to her yet and they're too big right now anyway, so I'm not sure about the fit. However, the look is awesome. I'm trying to find an outfit to match and complete the look, but it's kind of difficult to find similar style clothing for babies.

Great shoes! Love these shoes... I have probably bought 7-8 pairs over the last few years. Word of advice... do not go up a size with these shoes or they will not fit... this happened with both of my children...great shoe, easy to wash, and durable.

Love them - My little boy has a very wide width and these shoes fit him perfect!! I don't know how many shoes I have purchased and had to return because they did not fit his little Fred Flintstone feet. I think we will be purchasing them again and again as he grows in size.
