For my California Girl - I bought these in red for my 3 year old - she just loves them. They are comfortable and look so cute with jeans or shorts. We don't live in So. Cal anymore but this brings back memories! It's also her first tie shoes so a good opportunity to learn that skill. Love the red color as well.

These are the cutest shoes ever for my little guy (11 months old). Mommy & daddy have the same shoes and we look awesome! I love getting shoes from Zappos because they have such a big selection and I usually order and receive them the next day. I love the prices! No tax or shipping, which is great! I always shop Zappos!

My son is 5 years old and these are the only shoes he wears. They last a long time and go with everything. As you know, 5 year old boys are ever active. They're easy to put on and he loves them. He also enjoys picking out his next color!

I got these for my 4 year old son and they are really cute. The canvas is thinner than the canvas on the adults but i bought some time ago for a kid with the same canvas as that on the adults and it was way too stiff for little feet. They fade a little at the toes a little but vans look better broken in! Zappos is the best ever I have had only the best service from them!

Wore these tennies when i was a kid, and 40 years later- I still wear them. Classic canvas tennis shoes that somehow never really go out of style. Now my niece in New York City has a little So Cal surf style to run around in.

1st pair-Black/Blue Old Skool, 2nd-Black/White Old Skool, 3rd-Dinosaur Classic Slip-on, 4th-Blue Big Skool, 5th-Black Authentic, 6th-Pewter/Black Authentic, 7th-Ocean Blue Authentic, 8th-Cream Zapato Del Barco, and now the 9th-Dress Blue Authentic. I'll probably also get the Brown Authentic and Pewter Authentic for the Fall. We love these shoes! I order a size and a half larger so he can wear them longer and also order several pair at one time so he can have some at Grandmommy's and mommy's house.

Great shoe. Easy to walk in. Might want to go with the non laces version of this shoe only due to the fact that the little one might be trying to untie the laces all the time. Would buy again.

These shoes are perfect for our 2½ year old. Actually, these little Vans are the only shoes he's ever worn. We just buy one pair at a time until he grows out of them, and each time he gets a new color. Red and green are our favorites, but these blue ones were on sale, nice! Even his doctor said they are good for little ones. We highly recommend them!

These are by far my favorite shoes in my 1 year old's closet. They run 1/2-1 size a bit big, but my son also has narrow feet too. But with a thicker pair of socks they are fine. I will continue to order Vans as he grows.

Great shoes, great price, classic style. Best of all was the fantastic Zappos customer service during the Christmas season. The shoes arrived within 48 hours. The shipping box was a cheerful Christmas box with a cute saying on the outside. Almost didn't want to wrap the shoes for my grandson. Love the shoes, love Zappos.com.
Brands I'd also recommend: Vans are great for kids. Zappos is best for shoppers.

Great shoe, goes with everything. Because it is an all-white shoe, it's more of a fashion statement than something that you send your toddler out to play in. Shoe runs a little big and runs wide. Great for a toddler with chubby little feet!

Absolutely love these little red tennies. I think every little kid should have a pair at least once in their little lives. This is the second pair for my little girl.

I bought these shoes in white thinking that they would be versitile for my little girl to wear with little summer dresses and capris- returned them they are kind of ugly unlike other Van's products.

These are super cute! My son has a wide foot and we generally buy Stride Rites and New Balance in wides, but this one seems like a wide even though it doesn't come in wide widths. It also runs a little big in size. We ordered a half size smaller than usual and it worked out perfect with a little room to grow. This shoe is a tad bit lighter blue than the picture online. Also gaps slightly around the ankle so thicker socks might help.
Brands I'd also recommend: Striderite, New Balance, Sperry
