Overall:

My 5 year old son absolutely loves Vans slip ons. I have been buying these for him since he was 2. This is his go to shoe; he loves it because he can put them on himself and doesn't need the teacher's help at school. They really don't like messing with laces for kids who don't know how to tie their own shoes yet, so these are perfect for us. They have such style and personality and great patterns and colors to go with any of my son's outfits. We usually have at least 2 at a time because he wears them so much. They are pretty true to size and width. I would say they usually take about 2 wears before they are good and broken in for him. I will keep buying them as long as he likes. A+ in my book.

Love them! True to size and totally cute. Not made with any special fit/function/athletic features, and a bit clunky of a fit, but my 2 year old wants to wear nothing else.

We love these shoes. This is our third pair. Each time my son grows, we order a new pair in the correct size. They look great with casual clothes and "dressy" jeans. My son loves them. True to size and machine washable.

My eight year old son selected these shoes, and was thrilled when they arrived so quickly (thanks Zappos!). However, they have been very difficult for him to put on and take off, so we've had to resort to not using the top three lace holes, and keep the laces very loose. Meanwhile, the leather has torn away from the lace holes, which is disappointing, after only a month of use. But we do like how they look.

I just love these shoes. I'm pretty sure my almost 2 year old has outgrown them, but he keeps begging to put them back on. They're cute and stylish with his clothes, and they wear (and wash) so incredibly well. There was some scuffing of the front toe cap (to be expected), but it comes clean with a wet cloth or in the wash. My son fell in a huge mud puddle, and I was sure the shoes were ruined. Nope. Just fine after a trip through the laundry. They seem to have more padding than Chucks and they are more structured through the heel. We've had both, and liked them, but these just seem a little sturdier. These and a pair of Vans slip ons that I bought for my older son have both been repeat purchases. Any shoe I like well enough to buy 2 times is a keeper, in my book.

Great shoes and super cute. Bought these and a pair of "traditional" sneakers; my four year old granddaughter chose these immediately. Didn't even give the others a glance! Great fit and with the velcro, she can put them on by herself. As always, Zappos service was the best!

Great shoe, but runs huge! My son has two pairs in different styles, and my daughter has one. Luckily, hers came just as she hit a tremendous growth spurt, because hers fit fine. I ordered the first pair in his usual size, and they were like clown shoes on him. We kept them, and he'll wear them at some point. I ordered another pair in a different print/color, this one a half size smaller than his norm, and they were still a bit big, but he'll grow into them by Christmas, I'm sure. They're great shoes at a great price, just order down in size.

Love these shoes and so does my 3 year old daughter. This is her second pair and I am thrilled with how well they have held up. Super cute and she can put them on by herself which she loves! They are generous in size but she seems to be in between sizes right now so it may or may not be the shoe! Always a pleasure to buy from Zappos. Great customer service and I can always find what I am looking for. Thanks.

Highly recommended. My niece has a ten year old son that is required to wear braces on his feet and legs. Trying to find a "hip" or "cool" shoes with velcro straps locally was impossible. Zappos offered several options with his difficult to find shoe size. Thank you Zappos!

These shoes were a great choice for my 22 month old. Easy to put on, but they stay on! He gets so many compliments wherever he goes. We ordered two pairs to have a spare for the mornings when you can't find those little shoes. My older children love that the "baby" has shoes just like theirs.

These shoes are so cute on my daughter! She has been wearing Vans since she was 2 and now she is 7 and she still loves them! She has had the pink and white checkerboard at least 4 times. Its a classic and matches a lot of her wardrobe.

We love these Old Skool Vans. My 2 1/2 year old son wears them all the time and they hold up better than any other sneaker that we've tried. We have 2 colors, blue and black, and they look cute with everything. People are always saying "I love his little Vans!" They run a size bigger than other brands so I buy an 8 in Vans when I buy a 9 in other shoes.

We went to 4 stores to find a good looking sneaker; couldn't find one. All were black with skulls, etc. Wanted cool, not goth, for my 9 year old. He loves La Cripta Dos by Vans. They are a better quality of Vans than his last 2 pair from a store! The color is so awesome. The weave of the cotton upper super tight. No one in his school has a pair like this. Zappos from now on for him. No more tears shopping for shoes.

This is the 3rd pair I bought for my 4-year-old grandson in the past year or so. Vans childrens slip-ons run about a 1/2 size large, so order accordingly. His feet are not narrow, and they fit him well. Very good choices, from puppies to skulls. (Very fast delivery and the free 2-way shipping is great! Zappos customer service, billing, and refunds are timely and correct.)

This is the 3rd pair of checkerboard Vans I\'ve bought for my son - he absolutely loves these shoes (and has gotten quite a few compliments from wistful older guys!). They slip on easily but stay on well, are very comfortable, and have so much flair! They wear well, and can be washed, though I find they end up more gray and white instead of black and white after being washed.

I bought these skate shoes for my son. They're true to size, and very cute! Very easy with the Velcro closures. This is our third pair of this kind of shoe, different color. When he out grows these, we will get another pair. I love Zappos free both ways shipping! You have nothing to lose; if you don't like 'em or they don't fit send em back! Zappos customer service people are so helpful.
