I LOVE these shoes! This was my first pair of Vans and they won’t be my last! They are very true to size, maybe just a teensy bit bigger than size, but not by much. The color is awesome! I have gotten sooooo many compliments on the vivid blue and I just love them!

How do we love you, let us count the ways... we love VANS to the height and depth their rubber soles may reach!!! (except for the separation issue - VANS people, you gotta work on that) - for their fit, finesse and fashion-forward attitude! We love them for the many cool colors, too! We love them because they fit our kids’ diverse personalities, yet they can be counted on to offer both our daughter and son a great looking casual - every day school shoe! Our 13 yr old daughter digs this purple VANS AUTHENTIC shoe as it has got ample toe-room for wearing real socks (as opposed to thin shoe-liner type foot wear), and gives her wide foot plenty of comfort during the day. Her 13 yr old brother (twins) wears this same shoe in a different color combo because it is comfortable, too, even though he has a narrow foot - the laces make it adjustable enough for him. These are neat looking, not sloppy oversized Franken-boot looking things, and yet they’re hip enough for both kids to wear them to school, to dances, and yes, even to dinner with us old fogey parents! My kids don’t do skateboarding as we live in CT and there aren’t many flat-level surfaces except at schools/parking lots to do that. Some skateboard parks, but not around us. KUDOS to VANS for keeping the kids happy. NOW ONE THING - PLEASE NOTE - THE OUTER RIM OF THE SOUL DOES WEAR FASTER THAN MOST SNEAKERS AND TENNIS SHOES. We have had to super-glue this on, many times, with the multitude of VANS that we buy. So, we wish the sole would last longer than the canvas body - but other than that, we love the shoe. Good price, too. NOT A GYM shoe and not good for hiking, but SUPERB for everyday ordinary school.

Great transaction. Received items less than 36 hours after order without paying for overnight shipping. Niece was thrilled with the shoes. They were well packaged, the correct size, and the correct price was charged to my debit card. I didn\'t know what retailers sold the shoes in Indy, so this was a great alternative to skulking around the mall during the Christmas buying season. Will definitely check again the next time she wants something trendy that I know nothing about. I can\'t comment as to fit because they were a gift.

Looked all over for these "purple Vans". This was an item my granddaughter really wanted for Christmas. A friend had told me about Zappos many months ago. These were a Christmas gift for my little brother. Not only did he love them, but he got many compliments on them the first time he ever wore them out. They fit him great as well, true to size.

These shoes are great for skateboarding, and just wearing around. You will defiantly get some style points with these on. They are very comfortable, too. Although if your going to skate in them, I would not recommend jumping down any huge stairs or gaps in them.

I love these shoes. They go with pretty much everything including my private school uniform. I am reviewing the really bright neon blue ones, but I also have them in black, white, and purple. Zappos delivered them in 5 business and I've seen reviews that say they came overnight, but I think that was just because where I live. The down about these shoes are that the fabric this is made of is very thin and if you are a person who moves your toes a lot it messes up the shoe (like what happened to me). But other than that I love these shoes and will definitely buy more in the future and tell my friends about Zappos!

My daughter loves these Vans (red/burgundy checkerboard), and like all Vans Authentics, they fit true to size and are comfortable for a non-athletic sneaker.

About the shoe: We have purchased Vans Authentics before; we like them a lot and we checked the shoe sizes we had bought in a store before ordering. The Authentics we received were a bit bigger that the ones of the same size we had purchased a few months before in a store. They were great in every other way and we simply exchanged them for the size smaller, which worked out fine and quickly! That said, we ordered a pair of Vans Eras at the same time in the smaller of the sizes (as prior store experience dictated). The size of the Authentics ran the same as the size of the Eras. (In the past, we saw a difference between them.) About Zappos: This was my first time using Zappos.com and I was so satisfied! Shipping was fast. Customer service was polite, pleasant and human! The items ordered were great. I have already recommended Zappos to a friend who has since ordered two pairs of boots and to a stranger in a supermarket who was wondering where we got the shoes! (We live in a small town and so do not have the selection larger places offer.) I am confident recommending Zappos, as I know that if the customer is not satisfied, Zappos will make it right!

I bought these shoes from zappos.com. They got to my house really fast and they had free shipping! And about the product, they fall apart a little faster than some other shoes, but they're pretty good quality. Especially for the price. (They seem thin but they aren't. They fit me great.)
