UGG's Ultimates are the best sole I have felt in an UGG! They give you comfort, arch support and grip in case of slippery surfaces.

Warning: This product is not what is used to be. I have worn UGGS for several years. My last pair wore like iron, they were wonderful. I recently purchased the same boot and the material came apart at the seam within 60 days. Zappos has been wonderful to deal with and offers great customer service. The bottom line is that the quality that used to be UGGS Australia is no longer. Their products are mass produced in China and the poor quality shows. It's a shame, but, in my opinion, they are not what they used to be and certainly not worth the money.

I was a little undecided about the boots at first, but decided to keep them and now that I have worn them, I really do like them. I chose this style for two reasons: first, they seem (and others have commented) more substantial and durable than the classics, plus they have more support in the sole. Secondly, the only color I really like is chestnut (chocolate seems too dark, sand seems too light), and my daughter has the classics in chestnut, so I did not want the exact same boot as her. I do not really like the looks of Ugg boots in any style, but I have the Dakota moccasin, and wear them everywhere, even to work on casual Fridays, so I wanted to get the boots for the colder winter weather. I am short, so I do not like to wear boots with jeans tucked in because that just makes my legs look even shorter, but I really do not like the way this boot looks with jeans out, they look kind of like Roper work boots! But fashion-sense aside, they are extremely comfortable and warm, and I think that with leggings and a sweater-dress or a denim or flannel shirt-dress, they will look really cute. I wear a 6 to 6½, and I got the 6, which fit perfectly. I also have a very high instep and often have trouble with pull-on style boots, but these go on and off quite nicely, with very little coaxing. As always, Zappos exceeds expectations for prompt delivery and service.

I wear these boots all year. I am currently wearing them with thick wool socks and they are the best. In warmer times of the year I wear them without socks and they are perfect. I would have to say that they are the best boots for comfort I have ever owned.

The boots are very comfortable and seem to be warm. After wearing them for a month or so, the fleece on the insole has started to disappear! Luckily I ordered a spare pair of insoles. I do not want to order a new pair every month so I hope the original insoles were just lemons and the spares will last a long time.
