I have cold feet so I love Uggs and have had many pairs. I wanted something a bit more stylish and these are better but are a bit more rain boot like still. They are very warm. My only complaint is they are heavier than I'd prefer so my feet actually got tired walking in them. I got the black suede and brown leather ones but sent the brown ones back since they were really work boot looking to me. I have small calves and I think as the other reviewers have said that they are best for women with small-medium size calves. Im inbetween the size 9 and 10 in Uggs because I like wearing socks so the 10 fit better.

As someone else mentioned in a previous review, these boots indeed look like wellies, even the brown ones: clunky, boxy, loose in the ankle and in my case, too tight in the calf, which is a common problem for me. These are not cute riding boots by any stretch of the imagination; they are devoid of any sort of shape. Do not buy these to wear with a cute skirt and tights. For those of you who also rock full-figured calves: my calves measure approximately 16". I ordered these boots in a size 9½ and I could not close the zippers.

Love the look of these boots. Need to break them in and possibly put some boot wax on them to make sure they'll be waterproof. I think the structured Ugg boots (vs. the classic styles) run a bit wide in the heel - I'll probably buy some small inserts to keep my heel from lifting up when I walk. The length is perfect and true-to-size, no room for a thick wool sock but I'm sure they'll break in a lot with wear and can fit a thinner sock soon. Also my calf is pretty thin and these fit well, not too big and can fit my pant leg perfectly. So excited to wear these in rain and snow!

These shoes are super comfortable and perfect for a cold/rainy/snowy winter day. True to size. I bought them for their waterproof quality and the only negative is that they're fur lined so they're so warm I haven't been able to wear them on warmer rainy days.

There boots fit perfectly on my skinny legs, and felt great when I was out in the snow in NYC. However, once out of the direct cold, my feet were so hot that I couldn't wait to take them off. MI gave them to my daughter-in-law, who says her feet are always cold.

When I purchased these boots I was looking for something I could wear casually or to work. These boots looked like a pair of black rubber boots when they arrived (note: I had the black, I can't speak for the other colors, they may be better). Not dressy at all and surprisingly bulky - I will say they were very comfortable though. The black isn't waterproof, so even if a person was in the market for a pair or Ugg rain boots (these look like rain boots) the black is only water resistant. So what's the point? If you are looking for a pair of super casual, well made, comfy boots to run around in these aren't bad, but for the price I was wanting something dressier and more versatile.
