Sliding socks and sweaty feet - Can't wear without socks because feet start to sweat. Due to lack of a form fit when wearing socks my foot slides back and forth working the sock off. If your looking for house shoes, these would be perfect.

Very Comfortable Uggs- These boots are the ultimate in comfort, and it is true you can wear them sockless and they are extra toasty. Caution: they definitely run big. I wear a 9.5/10 and without socks, the 9s even fill roomy... These are comfort shoes, not performance shoes, keep that in mind if you are considering getting them as 'work' boots.

Happy Feet!! I ordered matching pairs of this boot for my husband and my 11-year-old son as Christmas gifts. Both of them love the look, love the fit, love the comfort, and wore them around the house all Christmas day! Like all Uggs, you can wear these barefoot in all but the coldest weather. These seem to run pretty true to size, unlike the more traditional "soft-sided" Uggs that run a size to a size and a half larger than marked.

Great après boot- I'm a skier and there is nothing that I can think of better than sinking my feet into these wonderful boots. They are like traditional UGG boots without the worry of water, snow, or beer damage. Lined with the traditional sheep's skin fur and the leather sole make them a great boot. Be sure to water proof the leather and sheep's skin exterior.

WARM & COMFORTABLE- By far the best winter boot out there. Very warm, very plush interior, which keeps your feet really warm. My wife says you don't need to wear socks with them and that is true. Call me crazy, but it almost feels warmer without the socks, probably because of the sheepskin lining. As long as you use the Ugg water repellent spray, the boots will not leak. I have a pair of Ugg Ultra Short which I find slightly more comfortable than these because they have more give but if it's durability you want than these are the boots to get. I found it to be true to size. So order the size you wear. They feel tight at first but they quickly mold to your feet. These shoes are a 10!!

Great boots! Great fit! Thanks to Zappos.... We ordered a pair of Uggs boots for my husband, who wears a small size, but we weren't sure which one in these boots so we ordered a pair and guessed at the size. They were too large so we just sent them back and ordered the next smaller size, which fit perfectly. He's very happy with them! And Zappos made it so easy!

Ugg's beacon - I really liked the boots, and I talked to a guy in Vail Colorado that loved his Beacons. But, my husband nor my seventeen y/o son liked them at all!

Warm and comfortable in Jackson Hole, Wyoming! I recently went to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for business, the first part of January. Since I live in Honolulu, I ordered the "Ugg Beacon" to wear on my trip to the ski country. My feet were comfortable and warm in 8 degree and colder weather. They are perfect for tromping around in the snow and streets. I also own a pair of UGG ultra shorts, which are wonderful too. More of a relaxed feel.

UGGS RULE- I bought these boots for my husband and he has totally rocked them since he opened the box. They are so warm and comfy and stylish, THEY ARE A MUST FOR THE STYLE-SAVY MAN. I absolutely loved the color 'obsidian' these boots had. Just one thing, buy a size smaller because they are kind of chunky due to the wool inside them. Other than that these are excellent boots. And ZAPPOS has been great, right away sent me a print out for the return and shipping was super easy, I just dropped off the boots and the UPS paper ZAPPOS sent me and that was it. No questions asked. Thank you!

Stylish in a crude way- While I feel the boot is excellent as something to slip on easily after a day of skiing. I had hoped that the boot would serve dual purpose and be appropriate for occasional daily use. However, I find that the overly simplistic cut of the boot- the lack of tapering or shape in the lower portion- gives the boot a rather crude, unsophisticated look. Arch support is virtually non-existent. As I said, the boot is fine for after skiing, but a little more styling and some arch support would, I think, be a vast improvement.

Great Shoes - These shoes are definitely comfortable. Best advice I can give is watch the Sizing. The Uggs website states that if you are an in between size, order a half size larger. This was way off. I wear a 10.5 and ordered the 10's, which were way to big. I had to send them back and get the 9's, which are 1.5 sizes smaller. Basically, the sizing recommendation that is out there was fairly misleading. They fit much better if you order 1 size smaller, and 1.5 smaller if you are in between.

My husband loves these boots- I was trying various winter boots and shoes via Zappos and my husband asked about boots. I looked at some Uggs. He picked this pair of boots because they have a clean, neat look but they also had the Ugg lining. We ordered an 11M but it was too large, so we exchanged it for a 10M and it fit perfectly. My husband doesn't usually spend much on shoes and he's very picky. But he's very, very happy with these boots.

Now I know why my wife buys Uggs - This is my first day wearing my Ugg Beacons and I know they will be my new favorite pair of shoes. My wife has a few pairs of Uggs and she always talks about how comfortable they are. They boots are very comfortable and I feel like there are clouds wrapped around my feet. My only beef I have is we had to do an exchange because the first pair we received had a defect. It took awhile for the exchanged boots to arrive but we are sure it was due to the holiday mail frenzy. Buy half a size up.
