I saw these boots on Ugg.com, but decided to purchase these through Zappos (because of the excellent customer service and speed of delivery)... the "Fawn" is true to the picture (light brown/ slightly olive mix). The photos and video are deceiving; the shearling is not throughout the boot. It is in the upper calf portion and sole, but not in the ankle or top of your feet (which is what I wanted). The suede is ultra soft, supple, great quality (but I sprayed it with protectant anyway). The heel is fantastic, rubber, nonslip, absorbing. The ankle felt wide, but laces help. I have a very wide-muscular calf from decades of running, but these fit wonderful! These come in half sizes, and my size is 7.5 without deviation, these fit perfect (not sure how comfortable after wearing/walking for a long period yet). The price is steep, but I intend to wear these with a shorter sweater dress or skinny jeans tucked in, for at least 3 seasons. I do love them and I think they're worth it!

Definitely not for wide calves. It hits at the widest part of your calf and even though you can unlace them to fit, mine looked stupid because in order for them to fit, I had to lace them up in a big wide "V" at the top of the boot. A little hard to put on, too, without completely unlacing them. Cute, but had to send back.

Very attractive and comfortable! The higher heel, because it's a block heel, is easy to wear; I'm a teacher and stand in them all day. They look cute with winter skirts. They are warm and the sole has excellent traction on ice. The laces are functional and great for adjusting to calf size. I'm 5' with muscular calves, and these fit well and are cozy.You can also fold them over and show more of the interior fur. The price is excessive, but they are well made and will hopefully last for many years.

These are beautiful boots and I love the way they look. They're warm, too. However, the heel is too high for me - I should have known that going in. The angle that it pitches your foot makes it worse and makes walking awkward. Having said that, I like them enough to keep them and will see if I can perhaps get the heel altered. If high heels don't bother you, you shouldn't have any problems with them otherwise.

As always Zappos service was great. I haven't yet had a chance to actually wear the boots, but I did try them on and trot around the house for a bit and they felt great. They're warm and they look great with black leggings (what I tried them on with). I have small calves but they fit perfectly, no gapping at the calf or bunching at the ankle. A good boot to own.

Get these boots while you can. I got fawn, size 5, which fit perfectly. I love the color, good change from traditional Ugg colors. Suede is very soft, and expensive feeling. I think are true to size, nice fit for 12" calfs. The lining is only on the foot bed and the top part of the shoes. Top fur I think is mostly for look. Which really looks cute when folded down. I cinched the laces up, then fold down. That makes the boots look more sleek not bulky. They are comfortable and have an awesome look that I feel will never be out of style.
Brands I'd also recommend: Frye, Coach, Vince Camuto
