Two Lips

I thought these boots were cute. They are not fitted to the leg, the ankles are a bit loose, so they felt like they ran a little big. They were wide on the calf - looked good with jeans tucked in, but a little too wide at the top for just tights. Also thought there was a bit too much on the boots between two sets of buckles and the ties in the back. They are also a bit taller than other boots I've tried on, they hit right at the bend in the back of my knee (I'm about 5'4"). If they were a little more fitted, I think they'd be a keeper, but for now, I'm going to keep looking.

I love these boots! I wore them with skinny jeans and they looked great together. Ladies, I got compliments from men! They told me several times: The boots are working! All my coworkers complimented them, even all the men. I never received so many compliments before!

Love these super-soft, stylish boots! I purchased 7 different boots before I finally decided on these from the bunch. They were the most comfortable of all of them and the buckles on the side are a cool embellishment ttat I think makes them more interesting than a lot that I tried. They look awesome with skinny jeans or with a skirt.

Daughter saw these shoes at a local boutique for a lot of money and Zappos had them for so much less. Ordering was EZ and shipping was quick. I was happy about the price and she was thrilled about the shoes. Win! Win!

I've only had these boots for about a month, but I get a ton of compliments, and they find their way into my wardrobe rotation very often. The shaft is very soft leather, so they're comfortable and flexible. While other reviewers have pointed out that the adjustable straps allow you to get a really good fit, they still don't adjust down quite small enough for my fairly narrow ankles. However, they do help to create a nice shape, even when worn over jeans -- no bulky or saggy elephant ankles here. The soles are very stiff, so you'll probably want to look into some insoles to reduce impact if you walk in them a good deal, but overall, they're comfortable, even for the two or three miles I'll often take them around town. I haven't encountered much ice yet, but the lack of tread on the bottom might limit wear to dry days. Still, lovely, comfortable footwear that would make a great pair of flat boots for anyone looking for both style and comfort.

The heel looks high but they are surprisingly comfortable. They have a good rubber sole to prevent slipping. The construction looks a tad cheap where the pointed toe area meets the sole, but no one would notice unless examined closely. Overall I felt I got a great deal for real leather/suede and comfortable, too. Zappos is the best.

I have a wide foot and always get an 8.5 in heels for toe comfort. These shoes look wonderful and fit great in width but are a half a size bigger in length than the noted size. Please size down a half a size, don't make the mistake I did. I can't exchange them because the box was thrown away. My mistake! I love how they look but am not sure I can wear them. I will try to put in some inserts but I am not sure that will even help they are that big. Size down when buying these!

These are the cutest darn boots ever. For being a very high heel; they are really easy to walk in. They actually look even nicer in reality then they do online.

I ordered the brown first and was so pleased, I ordered the black (which are actually a bluish/graysih black- perfect for that "worn" look).

These boots are cut bigger than I expected but I am still very happy with the purchase. I normally wear 7.5-9 so I got an 8.5 and that was way too big so I exchanged for an 8. This fits much better with thin and thick boot socks. The boots are very comfy, and very warm and are a great casual/everyday cold-weather-motorcycle look. And price is perfect.

The style is interesting and might work well on someone with a narrower calf, but it bunched up in an unflattering way for me. That made the partially attached 'cuff' lay funny. I would still recommend it as worth trying for someone with less meat on their legs. :)

I have wide calves and these are perfect for me. very comfortable and stylish. However, there is some quality issue with Two Lips. The first pair that I ordered came in with a right foot much larger than the left. I checked the label on the heel it states the correct size, but upon checking the label inside the boot, it was 1/2 size larger... Customer service at Zappos was great and they sent me a replacement immediately. I just hope these boots can last longer as my previous Two Lips tend to fall apart in a year or two.

These are so cool but they seem to run very small. I had to order a larger size than normal.

I'm a never-fail size 8 and even with heavy socks, these boots are 1/2 size too big on me. I returned for a 7.5. The buckles are adjustable so you can actually make them fit your calves instead of hoping you don't look like you have tree trunks for legs. Very comfy...a tiny bit narrow, but not enough to have to order a wider size. I got the black and they have a distinct bluish tint. I think it looks good; weathered and distressed, but definitely bluish.

I really loved these but they were much too wide around the ankle. I didn't think my ankles were particularly slim, but maybe they are. The platform seemed like they would be more comfortable than a lot of stilettos.

Order a full size larger. Shoe is extremely narrow and not true to size.

This shoe is awesome. Very comfortable and easy to easy to walk in. Got a lot of compliments!!!!

These boots run true to size and width. They are sexy and comfortable. I have narrow calves so had to tighten the laces as tight as they would go. I knocked it down one star because the quality is not quite up there with more expensive boots, but they are hot, a good value and I am keeping them. FYI I originally ordered 1/2 size up as suggested by previous reviewer and had to return and order my normal size.

Love. Getting them in the black too...soft and smushy, but tight on my calves...perfect.
