This shoe is well made and very comfortable. I have a foot with a narrow heel and a wider front. I have a little heel slippage but that is not the fault of the shoe. I use the no heel slip guards and that helps a lot. The pebbled blue leather is great with jeans or khaki's. I wear a size 13 M. Thank you Trotters for making my size and thank you to Zappos for changing my life by selling those shoes.

Never even tried it on - have to say the shoe is very "man-ish" looking. Perhaps because I have a larger foot. Maybe in a smaller size it is more feminine.

The trotter is very comfortable! I purchased two pairs for an overseas trip. They were great walking shoes plus they were dressy enough to wear with dress slacks and jeans!

I bought these to try out as walking shoes for a hoped-for trip to Paris. I have bunions, and my usual D-width felt snug enough that I worried about the discomfort of "foot spread" during a day of walking around on concrete sidewalks, so I ordered an E-width, deciding to fill in the heels as needed with heel guards to keep them from slipping on my normal-sized heels. (Yes, I know; my feet are shaped like a duck's!) The shoes arrived the day before an unexpected trip to Baltimore. They seemed to fit, but I didn't have time to break them in or give them a test run before the trip. I had nothing else to wear, though, so I packed them, telling myself I'd be paying the price in discomfort. Well, I wore these shoes throughout the trip, and they were wonderfully comfortable right out of the box! The day after we arrived home, I ordered them in every other color offered! I'm thinking of ordering back-up pairs in my most-often-worn colors, because I'd hate not to have them available! Fabulous for workday wear, travel, or casual wear -- classic and "finished-looking," as well as comfortable. If you're even considering these shoes, go ahead and try them on! After all, it's free to try them at Zappos!

These shoes are comfortable and supportive. I am very picky about shoes, and I love these. Most of my life I wore heels, but an illness has "reduced" me to only flats or wedges for full contact with the floor. I like the bit of height the shoes give with the security of soles that are safe and easy and insole support. They are quite basic, but stylish, and go with most of my color coordinated clothes including jeans. 4 season wear, too! I think they will last a long time as they are well made.

I was skeptical about buying shoes on line because I have a difficult foot to fit, but I couldn't be happier. They are everything I had hoped they would be.
