I was looking for a dress shoe to wear to my daughter's outdoor wedding. I needed a low and thicker heel so I could walk easily through grass without sinking my heels into the sod. I found this style and brand to be very a comfortable shoe and the classic style worked out perfect for me. I wore these shoes all day and night and did not feel any discomfort.

WOW! Great shoes!!! Lightweight and comfortable. It’s like you are wearing nothing! I have very WIDE feet and ordered the WW and they fit PERFECTLY...Did not need to break them in. Great for shopping. I put these on and went shopping all day and my feet were fine! Not terribly stylish, but not the orthopedic look either!! At 50, I opt for comfort ...and these are it! I will buy more for sure!

I bought these because I was looking for a classy, but comfortable, pair of dress shoes to wear to my daughter's wedding. These are comfortable for the most part. They do rub where the toes stick out of the peek hole. However, they look nice for a low heel shoe. Rather expensive though.

With a D-width foot, I've had my share of let-downs, setting my sights on a lovely pair of D-width shoes that turned out NOT to be a true D width. It's very frustrating. These, however, are correctly marked and are a true D width. They are absolutely perfect, comfortable and good-looking. I am enjoying them immensely.

CUTE, CUTE, and VERY COMFORTABLE - First of all, Zappos is AMAZING. My order arrived the very next day! They accidently put the wrong shoe in the box for one item that I ordered, BUT it took less than 10 minutes to get everything straightened out. I even had the correct pair of shoes the next day at no additional cost!!! If every company had Zappos’ dedication to customer service, we would have heaven on earth. As for this shoe, it's extremely comfortable. I ordered the wide, and it fits perfectly - no pinching or tightness around the toes at all. The shoe is very cute and easily transitions from a daytime business look to a business casual evening look. The shoe is a bit slippery on the bottom, so I suggest that you buy a pair of grips if you are going to walk primarily on uncarpeted floors.

These sandals are very comfortable and easy to slide on and off. I have narrow feet, and they fit well. Don't expect to change the velcro straps much though. They are just for show.

Trotters Madeline are true to size and very comfortable. A mid-size heel and a cute peep toe. I wear them to work and don't even have to kick them off immediately after walking in the door.

I purchased these in the pearl ivory for my son's wedding, they lasted me thru the day! That's about the best review I can give about these shoes! So I recently ordered the black kid for future wear. This design never goes out of style, goes with everything, from and including jeans, sundress or wedding attire. I had worn a previous trotters style, and had tried both the 6 and 6 1/2 in medium. The 6 M was too narrow, and the 6 1/2 M was too big, but the 6 W fits perfect, and with the toe inserts to stop my foot from slipping forward, well, you can wear these all day! I ordered the same size and they are consistent. For those that live in Uggs in the winter, and crocs and or sneakers the rest of the year, but you need to actually get dressed up, and need to be comfortable, these are the way to go! If you want a heel that will go with everything, and is comfortable, but also need a shoe with a strap to keep it on your foot, then you want these, I wish they came in navy also!

These are great, simple sandals that are immediately comfortable. My one complaint is the sizing: I'm a solid 9 (sometimes even a 9 1/2), but when I received the 9s they were enormous. The shoe stuck out about an inch from the tips of my toes. So I returned them, shocked, for an 8 1/2. They fit great, a little tight at first but now they're perfect.

I typically wear a 7 Medium. This shoe was way too narrow. I usually keep the shoe if it is close but the size was way off on the width. Seemed like it would be a great shoe for those it fits.

Received the Diana shoe a few days ago - they fit perfectly! I wear size 11N (have long toes) and these are great. Also, find that the square throat is more comfy for me. One concern - my foot slides a little due to the vinyl lining (and I wear hosiery). I’ll put some kind of suedecloth innersole in them. And I LOVE the copper color! Trotters is my favorite brand for an inexpensive shoe.

This is the first pair of sandals that I have been able to wear and be comfortable in all day. I have to wear orthotics and I have Plantar Fasciitis. My feet hurt all the time, but are comfortable in these shoes.

I never wear dress shoes. I live in Birkenstocks and other ultra comfortable shoes that have plenty of arch support (I have flat feet) and plenty of toe room (bunions), but I had to have something dressy to wear to a wedding, something sleek and feminine, with just enough heel. I wore these out of the box and to the wedding and reception for 11 hours straight. Now I wouldn’t say these have the kind of arch support I’m used to, and the toe area isn’t that roomy, but somehow my feet remained comfortable the entire time (I give comfort 5 stars because I’m comparing the comfort of this shoe with that of other dress shoes), and afterward I was not sore and had no blisters. I did put bandaids on my ankles where I’d normally get blisters with new shoes, and I wore hose, which I’m sure helped a lot, but overall I was amazed and very happy with these Trotters.

These are very comfortable shoes, no "breaking in" at all. They fit from the moment I put them on. I am on my feet walking all day, and these are just the right height of heel and flexibility across the top of the foot. Love them.

Was really excited about these shoes because I started a new job at a large facility and would be doing some walking throughout the day. The look is nice without being frumpy- good heel height but I continually added band aids throughout the day- one on my heel and one on a small toe. I am unclear at this point if they will stretch out but my feet tend to swell so if they don't, it is a no-go for me. I ordered them in two additional colors but will need to return.

I bought these in black, and I love them - great spring/summer/fall shoe that can be worn with dress pants or jeans. I bought in the wide width and they fit perfect (I have a wide foot). It’s difficult to find a wide width shoe that is truly "wide", but these are - and to top it off, they’re cute, too.

I really like this shoe – it’s attractive, comfortable, and fits true to size. Although out of the box it was not as comfortable as another pair of Trotters I own, they broke in quickly and I now comfortably wear them at work and walk up to 2 miles per day. I did immediately get them re-heeled because I don’t like the plastic-y heel which is noisy and slippery.

When I bought these, I felt they were a little expensive for sandals. However, after wearing them just a couple of times for short periods around the house, I spent two days in them walking around Victoria, B.C. Feet never hurt once! Love the adjustable fasteners.

I have very wide feet and peripheral neuropathy in my left heel, which makes finding comfortable shoes really difficult. These sandals are great. I can wear them all day and most days feel very little pain by the end of the day, whereas with most shoes I would be crippled by lunchtime. I was dreading going through the summer wearing my running shoes all the time, and now I can wear sandals!

Classy, super comfortable, wide size great for extra room in the toe box, while strap in back holds shoe in place if you also have a narrow heel. Wore them first time all day to a country club event, never once even thought about them, they were that comfortable!

After ordering and returning numerous pairs of dress shoes, this one by Trotters seems to fit the bill--and my feet! My feet are not only long and narrow, but my toes are really spread apart. This shoe fits like a glove. The heel height and shape make it quite dressy and not difficult to walk in. Without Zappos, I'd still be going from store to store to store, searching for a shoe that fits (I'm an 11N). And that's been a challenge for nearly all of my life. Shopping with Zappos is like having my own personal shoe boutique! Returns couldn't be easier and their service is excellent. I especially like the feature you can select for notification when your size/color of shoe becomes available. I tell everyone about Zappos! What a great company!!

The most comfortable shoes I have purchased in years! I have such odd feet it is really hard to find shoes. I wear a size 12 but my feet are wide in the front and narrow in the back kind of like a diving fin. :-) In any case tough to find shoes...they are either too narrow in the toe or two wide in the back and cause blisters but these, put them on the first time and never looked back. I plan to buy them in every color I can get!

It is a cute sandal. The straps do not rub or cause irritation and they do stay on. There isn't any real cushion, but they aren't uncomfortably hard either. I worry the strap will break before the shoe wears out, but the style made it worth getting. I have a very wide and thick foot, so I am pleased that this sandal fits and looks nice. I wear them for quick trips outside or when I have a few errands. They go well with just about anything that I would wear with jeans.

I tried 4 other pairs of sandals before I found these shoes. My feet are very narrow so I have a hard time finding sandals. These stretched out a little after wearing them around a while but they are SO comfortable I love them! I want to buy one in every color!

I have worn Trotters Liz shoes for several years and have found them to be very comfortable. They work well with both pants and skirts. I needed to replace the black pair that I wore out. I tried purchasing them at a local store, but my usual size (9.5) at the store did not fit at all. I decided to try Zappos, but unfortunately found the same problem. The black 9.5 pair I ordered feels more like an 8, while the navy 9.5 pair I ordered fits as expected. It seems like the latest batch of black 9.5 Trotters Liz were not made to specification. I just wanted to warn those who have never tried these shoes before or those looking to replace a black pair that the sizes on the black shoes (at least in my size) are way off at the present time.
