I bought these as a first purchase on Zappos.com. The boot looked appealing with a touch of color to make it pop. However, upon arrival, noticeable glue stains around the sole ruined my first impressions. The elastic on either side of the ankle does a great job of securing the boot but the lack of a decent sole makes these unpleasant in an "unbox-and-wear" scenario. I may return them shortly.

I was looking for one boot that was insulated, waterproof, and not terribly bulky to wear for everything from walking around the city and biking to hiking in the winter or fall months. Unfortunately, these boots are really heavy and they fit floppy on my feet, so I think they are more suited for shoveling snow, running to the car, grabbing the mail, etc. I think the price is too steep for something that is not very versatile at all, too.

No arch support, just a cheap China rubber boot, with the top cut off. Impossible to get on with out using pull tab, which tore off first time.

About Tretorn
The company's association with life on and off court rapidly created something of a cult following surrounding the brand, a status which was firmly secured when Wimbledon winners took to the grass in Tretorn in the 1970s. Inspired by the high profile and success of the brand, Tretorn's canvas and leather Nylites were the only shoe in which to be seen wearing on North American campuses throughout the 1980s. Lean and understated, the Tretorn sneaker was the first luxury sports shoe on the market.
Tretorn’s expertise in rubber-made products demonstrates a consistent commitment to quality and brand over hype, offering a collection most appreciated by those with a practical sensibility and a lifestyle largely enjoyed outside. Because Tretorn celebrates a lifestyle, largely lived outside, Tretorn ensures that labor is not exploited and the production methods are continuously revised for the good of the consumers and the environment. This commitment to sustainability and safe products is embodied in their PVC-Free policy for all of Tretorn men's shoes and Tretorn women's shoes. It is a business practice for which Tretorn is widely recognized as industry leaders.

These do run pretty big. Half of my shoes are 10's or 9.5's and the 10 was just way too big. Picked up the 9 instead and they fit fine. For all of you that like minimal/casual footwear this is the in-climate weather boot for you. I like the utilitarian looks and matte rubber - you can get away with wearing these anywhere. I was looking for a boot to shovel snow, grab firewood, wear to the office (cold, rain, snowy), and short walks to town. It works well for these uses but I think they need some work. I know they are casual but I think they could have designed it to fit your foot more comfortably. They are heavy and floppy feeling. Your heel sits lower than your toes. There is no arch support (which I can live with) but there is also no heel support at all. If you walk more than a couple of blocks you can feel it in your heels/ankles. I will try putting a different insole in it. I can't speak for the longevity just yet but other than what I mentioned they are nice, warm, cozy, cost effective, and look a lot better than the other options I had for a wet weather boot.

These do a very good job of keeping my feet dry when out in the elements. They are a little tough to get on but once on feel pretty comfortable. I would buy these again.

I was looking for a rain/winter boot that I could wear in the first few months of winter in Michigan. This boot fits the bill in terms of comfort and waterproof-ability (I'm sure that's a word). However, I thought the shoe looked bulky and wider than I would have liked (probably because there are no laces) so I'm returning. If that is not an issue with you, then I would recommend.

I bought these and Baffin Bobcat's for my husband to choose from. They are mainly for dog walking in the rainy weather. He chose these for their casual look and said they will be comfortable for short periods of time. He wouldn't plan on wearing them on a day out or a super long walk. He's a size 11 - 11.5 and 11.5's fit him nicely.

This is a very nice rain boot. The lining feels very good, though it is faux fur and in cold wather you would want to wear a warm sock with this boot. It looks good on feet and the rubber is very soft and comfy.

Incredible! I wear them all the time, even when it's not raining. The only thing that beats the show is the Zappos service!

The boots run a little big. I typically wear an 11.5, and the 11's I ordered fit me perfectly. I would echo several of the other comments and they can be a bit difficult to get on, there is no arch support, and my heels feel a little lower than I'd like. I've only worn them once, but one of the elastic bands on the side has already come partially loose. If this becomes too much of a problem, I'm sure I could put a little super glue on there to solve the issue. As far as rubber boots go, I think they are pretty stylish and the orange sole gives a fun, whimsical touch. The lining makes these boots very comfy, kind of like an UGG boot (I would imagine) and we'll see if the lining holds up to semi-regular wear.

Loved the look and fit, but on the third wearing the "pull" broke off and the boot is now falling apart. I would have tried another pair but they're sold out in my size!
