Tretorn Reviews
I love these boots. They look great, are exceptionally warm, and fit like a moccasins. But unlike Sorel's, they aren't bulky with a separate insert. If you need an all-around winter boot that will get you around town, the Highlander can't be beat. But they are leather...so they aren't completely waterproof, and you'll need to treat them before wearing out. No regrets. Highly recommended.
I think this boot looks a lot better in the pictures than it does in person. It is a little cheap but it will work fine. The heel and footbed looks beefier than it actually is, do not expect a thick footbed. The fur is why I am keeping them though, gotta have that!
I love these sneakers. They have simple, retro appeal and look sharp when white. I'm still learning how to keep white canvas sneakers clean.I've bought two pairs just to make sure I can still get these when my current pair wear out. They have a really comfortable fit. The canvas is soft and conforms to my foot well. The fit and finish of the blue detail is not so great. The threading frayed after a few months of infrequent wear. The paint has started chipping away from the eyes which is disappointing.Still, these blemishes provide some character. If they were better made, I'd give it 5 stars all around.
Great rain boot, I only give it 4 stars because the bottom insole on one of the boots was slipping out of the boot before I had even worn them. But I just put it right back in place and everything was fine. Also, 4 stars for comfort because the top part of the boot kind of rubs against your leg and is a bit irritating, otherwise good
This was my first purchase of rain boots, so I did not know what to look for. I think the boots are too large and my heel rubs against the back, which is really uncomfortable after a while. I am not sure if this is how all rain boots are, but they are pretty stiff and uncomfortable. They are pretty warm too, which is fine when it is cold out but not so much when it is warm out. I figured these flaws were just how rain boots were but I could not put up with it anymore. I cannot return them since I have worn them a few times. I ended up buying Spring Step Summit boots to replace these and I am glad that I did.
Wonderful boots. I've had them for four years now and they withstand everything. Super easy to clean too!
I got these boots with the intention of using them at the dog park, after mountain bike races, and on wet trail walks with the dog. I have used them in snow when we got dumped on with 10 inches three week ago, and they were great! Good traction in the snow and water, not so good on ice, but then you need crampons anyway! They have held up well under all these conditions, no cracks in seams or leaking. The lining keeps my legs and feet fairly warm, even better with thick wool socks. The footbeds are very comfortable, could use a bit more arch support, but still sufficient. The size was right on. I can still tuck in pant legs of jeans and dress pants, no problem. They look good on the trails, at the park, or around town. I've had several compliments on them. Overall, I am very happy with them.
Great, no-fuss rubber boot for wet weather. The medium height and wide opening makes slipping these shoes on and off super simple and extremely convenient when you're flying out the door. I can tuck pants with wider legs into them which I appreciate. The downside to the height and wide opening is that water may be kicked up and into the interior while walking. I also own a pair of tall Hunter rubber rain boots which I find much fussier in terms of coordinating with bottoms and ease of getting out the door. They also aren't as comfortable as the Tretorns.
I've been looking for a great warm winter boot for awhile now and when I found these ones I knew they would be perfect! They handle puddles well and I just took them to the snow and they worked great and kept my feet dry. I love the height of the boot too...it's not too tall or too short. If I lived in snow, I would definitely invest in the taller version though! Adorable boot. I'm always getting compliments on them.
I had such high hopes for these boots as I have another pair of Tretorn rain boots that I love. I'm usually a size 9.5 to 10, but ordered the 11 as that's what my other pair of rain boots is. These, however, seem to be fit for a man's foot. They are incredibly wide, but at the same time way too short. I tried to tighten the laces to get a better fit, but the leather is quite stiff. I was hoping for a cute waterproof bootie to wear in the snow and rain that was a little bit less bulky than my full-on rubber wellies. These boots, however, are definitely trompers.
These boots are perfect all-weather winter boots for snowy and slushy days! Your feet will never get wet again. And the faux fur inside is so comfy and warm! Definitely recommend these for a winter boot (I think they would be too warm for spring days).
Received these boots yesterday and thought I haven't had an opportunity to wear them; they appear to be just what I was looking for. I'm a size 10 and the Euro size 43 is a perfect fit. I was somewhat disappointed to learn they were made in China, and not Sweden, as I was lead to believe from the hype about Tretorn and it s Swedish heritage. At the sale price they seem to be a good buy.

These Tretorns are my first pair of non-cheapo rainboots and I'm very happy with them. The black goes with everything, but the laces at the top add some visual interest and style. In terms of comfort, I've been very impressed. After reading other reviews, I ordered a half size down, and was very happy with the fit. There is still room for me to wear medium thickness socks, but not so much that my foot slides around uncontrollably. Arch support and insulation is good. I walk about 2 miles a day and my feet stay comfy, warm and dry.The one improvement I would make to these boots would be to add maybe just a half inch more to the calf circumference. I have wider calves and am able to fit them in these boots when wearing tights or skinny jeans, but there isn't enough room for me to comfortably tuck in boot cut jeans.
Love the look of this boot. They are a bit wide on my foot but the length is true to size. I added a cushioned insert to fill some of the extra space. Very cute and practical!

I bought these shoes a couple months ago but have only worn them a few times. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9, the 9 fit well, a little big but can be worn with thick socks for colder weather. Overall nice boot, keeps my feet warm and dry. Only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because they are very wide in the leg, especially if you don't have thick calves. Also the first few times I wore them they gave off an unpleasant, rubbery odor.
Love these boots! So comfy, definitely waterproof, and ever so lightly fleece lined for a little extra warmth in the cold. This is actually my second pair because my first pair split on one of the toe seems. The new pair seems to be holding up just fine. The calf space is nice and wide, great for wearing extra layers. If you want that "Hunter" skinny look, these are not the boot. But just depends on what you prefer. I also wear a cushioned insert in them just to add a little arch support since I wear them for long stretches at a time. Works like a charm. Highly recommend Tretorn!
These rain boots are great! They are simple, comfortable, and tall enough to really keep your feet and legs dry in a downpour. I have larger calves and these fit perfect.

Zappos was awesome! Ordered Tretorn Kelly Vinter Rubber Rain Boot for Christmas present and ordered the incorrect color and had to exchange and there was not only no hassle but I called they replaced the order and sent them out next day even before I sent the incorrect item back. This is the way places should be. Thanks Zappos!
I love the style of this shoe, it's waterproof but so so so uncomfortable to wear. The upper tongue is made in a way to keep the shoe waterproof but it's super hard and irritates the top of your foot. They should've found a way to keep it soft, otherwise the style of the shoe is handsome.

These are so warm and comfy! Once these arrived, I immediately put these on. The inside is perfect for those cold rainy days. Perfect for rain and snow since the bottoms are gripped. Seaming is great and won't crack like in lower quality boots. Normally wear an 8 in rain boots, but definitely go a size up because of the lining. Great quality for the price.
