Tretorn Reviews
Didn't fit my giant calves. I wear a leather boot in a 17 or 18 circumference. This didn't even come close to fitting. Zappos, PLEASE start carrying the Jileon boots!
I normally wear an 8.5 or a 9, and in these, I was an 8.5. The 9 was simply far too long. That said, the 8.5 is quite tight around the center of the foot because the inner elastic is ultra-snappy. (See that elastic around the outside? It is really elastic, but there's another elastic around the inside of the shoe over the instep that's doing the real work of keeping your foot in place...and man, does it ever keep your foot parked in one spot.) To be honest, I'm hoping that the elastic releases its ridiculously tenacious grip over time, because right now, these are borderline uncomfortable. One other thing...if you're comparing these to the suede version of these shoes, and Zappos has your size in the suede version, get the suede. They are simply better-looking by a wide margin, and seem to be better-made as well (not that these seem poorly constructed). In my case, Zappos didn't have my size in the suede version.
I'll compare these to the canvas version of these shoes, just in case anybody else is doing the same. I'll cut right to the chase - the suede ones (these) are simply better-looking, and seem sturdier as well. The area in front of that main, thick stitch surrounding the toe box seems less stretched on the suede variant, and it just gives a sharper, less awkward look as a result. That said, I sent back the size 9 pair I ordered. They simply run long, and I had to go down by half a size, to 8.5. Of course, that's the one size Zappos didn't (and still doesn't) have in the grey suede version (ugh). I ended up just buying the canvas variant in grey, and while they're generally comfortable (though a little snug mid-foot), I definitely wish that the suedes came in my size. If you have any choice in the matter, and are deciding between the suede and the canvas, get the suede.

They are pretty cool boots and good quality. After buying these, I found some much cheaper deals on rainboots at a site called DHgate.com. The boots at that site are cute but not as high quality as these, so I guess it depends on what is important to you. These are also soft on the inside and I like that.

Just wanted to note that if you're using these to feed farm animals -- the hay sticks horribly to the fleece lining! You have to tuck your pants into them and then sort of create an umbrella over the boot with your pants by pulling them up a bit, so the hay doesn't get inside. If the hay gets inside, it's very difficult to get out! Otherwise, these boots work fine and not much sticks to the outside.

Thank goodness I found this shoe on Zappos. It is by far the best sneaker ever made. It is comfortable, light weight and looks good with all sport clothes. Not big and bulky like most other athletic shoes. It's also washable. What's not to love. In fact, I think I will order another pair!
After a couple snafus with sizing (I was an 11 in a previous pair of Tretorns but am a 10 in this one), I've fallen in love with this shoe. It's extremely comfortable, breathes well, and after a little stretching is quite easy to slide on. Your mileage may vary, though, so a shoehorn might be required.
These are in some ways the perfect summer kicks - lightweight, comfortable, and stylish (I always get compliments when I wear them). That said, they run very small (especially if your feet are on the wide side), so definitely order a half or full size over what you normally wear. They're also not the most durable of shoes and on average they last me about a year of moderate use before the canvas rips or the edging around the sole starts peeling away. But given the reasonable price I'm not sure if you could expect more.

I just got these yesterday so haven't had time to actually use them, but they will fit my purpose. I'll be feeding farm animals while the owners are away, so need something that will keep my pants and feet clean and dry. I can easily put them on and tuck my pants into them quickly. With the thin textile lining, they won't be too hot and will absorb moisture. The ankle is loose fitting, but if it wasn't they'd be difficult to get on and off. Very little arch support, so I added my own. The rubber looks durable, and they look nice on. I ordered them in the morning, and they came the next day, even though I live in a rural mountain area. Thanks, Zappos, for expediting the shipping!
These are super stylin' - a great alternative to clunky leather boat shoes, which is what I was looking for. They're comfortable for what they are, but don't expect a supportive shoe at all. I'm on my second pair because the first ones starting coming apart after wearing them for only 2 months. The rubber around the toe started pulling away from the canvas, and Zappos kindly replaced them - though my second pair is now doing the same thing. Truth be told, I'll probably order another pair in a different color soon just because I love the way they look. I got the "phantom" color with red laces, and they're really more of a navy color after wearing them a few times. These are also a good summer option when flip-flops just won't cut it. They will get a little stinky if you go without socks, but I remove the insoles, toss them in the washing machine with cold water, and let them air dry in the shade.
Great shoe and better alternative to a boat shoe. This shoe is just what I was looking for - very comfortable and most importantly does not stink up like leather boat shoes during the warmer months on and around the water.
These fit extremely small. Extremely. My 11 year old usually wears a 5 ladies in Tretorn, so I ordered these for her in a 5.5 based on the reviews of them being small. Seriously, she needs a 6 or maybe even a 6.5. I checked both the box and the shoes and both are marked with the correct size, so unless their was a manufacturing error, the size is way off.
Love these! They are super cute (which I didn't think was possible for rain boots) and super comfortable (again, unexpected). I walk 45 minutes to work and back and am happy with these.
I love these. They are cooler than Converse. I followed other reviewer's advice and ordered half a size up, I usually wear a woman's 10 which is like a men's 8½ so I ordered a 9 and they are great!
These little boots are awesome! I get tons of compliments whenever I wear them. Super comfy and cute. They really stand out in a crowd.
These look cool and are comfortable. My pair fell apart in less than a year. The wear was even on both shoes. The bottom of the shoe literal ripped apart and fell out. Given the price point, it's extremely low quality for what you are paying. I had a similar experience with a pair of Tretorn boots. They tore within a year. If you live in a city and plan on walking in them a lot, I would go with another shoe. If you're just planning on light wear around the house, they should be fine.
Great shoe! I usually have issues wearing shoes with no socks, I get blisters easily, but not with these. They breathe well and haven't gotten smelly yet. I really like that these shoes have laces which obviously allows you adjust how tight they are. I've kept them tied loose, which makes them easier to slip on and off. The sole is great too. Not too heavy but still feels substantial and has good grip. I get lots of compliments about the shoes too. The shoe is longer than it looks. I got the correct size and fits right, but there is a lot of room in the toe. I think it's part of the style and does not bother me, just something I noticed. I am very happy with my purchase and have already looked into getting another pair in a different color.
Bought these boots last minute before heading out to a muddy festival. I have a wide calf and these fit fine without having to adjust. If I wanted to tuck pants into the boots, I would have had to adjust the buckle on the side. Didn't need to break them in and they were very comfortable, even though the first times I wore them was for 6 - 9 hours at a time.
