While the accessory-design and comedy worlds have very little overlap, there is at least one common denominator between the two, and that´s handbag designer Leslie Newton. Newton can now see what she´s created just about everywhere, too. As the creator of Leslie Newton Bags, a collection of sleek diaper bags inspired by vintage shapes and fabrics, her handi work is sold in stores all over the world.
The baby bags as they are called come in all sorts of fabrics from vintage looking prints to basketball leather. There was a need for a hip, yet functional diaper bag; Timi and Leslie baby bags were the pioneers to fill this void. Leslie´s latest diaper bag collection is chic and sophisticated, using fun fabrics with vintage-inspired prints, and a small shoulder-strap. The ladylike shapes hark back to a more elegant time when ladies didn´t lug 10-pound sacks filled with life´s many necessities around every day, but still have Newton´s signature whimsical touches.

First, let me say how impressed I was with Zappos' shipping. I ordered my bag one evening and it arrived the next morning! With free shipping I expected, like with other companies that offer free shipping, that my bag would not arrive for several days. Way to go Zappos you are the leader in service! Anyway, I absolutely love this bag. I ordered the teal and the color is beautiful! What a great looking bag. I disagree with the reviews which say the bag is too big. A change of clothes, a few diapers, wipes, burp cloth, nursing cover and an extra receiving blanket fit well but I can see that when I add a bottle, few toys and a couple of personal items for myself, the bag will be full. I am please with the look, feel and size of this bag. In fact it is such a gorgeous bag that my husband flipped when he was it. The quality is so nice that he assumed I had spent a lot of money on a diaper bag! He was relieved and impressed when I told him it was only a fraction of that coast. I cannot wait to show this bag to my mom's club!

This bag is gorgeous. Stylish color, lots of space for diapers and sippy cups and snack-traps, but does not look ginormous, just looks like a large-ish bag. It does not look like a diaper bag at all, which was important to me. I also love that it has a little matching purse to hold my adult things. It is faux leather but looks pretty real, and is nice and soft. Not shiny/plasticy which so many diaper bags are. It just arrived today so I am interested to see how it will hold up, but I am psyched and look forward to wearing it.

Very spacious and roomy. Looks good on the body. Lots of pockets for organization. I ordered this bag to be a fun summer bag/tote for me and my baby's things. I'm returning because the color is not as "summery" as I thought. It's more of a muted fall orange in my opinion. I will be ordering this bag in a different color!

This is a great diaper bag. It is very stylish and will be able to use long after diapers and bottles. I love the mustard color. The matching clutch sold me.

I absolutely love this bag! Had ordered the Timi & Leslie Dawn in cloud blue which was lovely but a tad too small so I switched it for the Charlie which is just the right size. Would be nice if the colors where a bit brighter though.
I'd also recommend: Get the Timi & Leslie Dawn if you'd prefer something smaller...
