Awesome boot! Very comfortable fit. Light weight even though it is a steel shoe boot. Recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice work boot.

I like these shoes. I am on my feet working for up to 10 hours and these shoes feel great. I ordered a wide width (I was on the border line for a regular/wide width). I'm glad I ordered the wide width. Love the shoes for comfort. I have noticed that the toes seem to scuff and show wear.

One of the best shoes I have ever bought. It looks like a dress shoe but has the comfort of a casual shoe. I can easily wear this with slacks to go to work and then jeans to go out. My ONLY regret is that I didn't buy two of them so I have another when the first pair wore out. As it stands I'm hoping my size comes back in stock.

Very good boot, but does wear out fast. I get on avg 8-12 months out of them before they self-destruct. Soles crack, leather will slip behind the steel toe. During the 8-12 months though, best boot money can buy. I'll keep buying them because of the comfort. I use them for motorcycle riding and at work ( service writer) on my feet a lot.

Nice looking boot and it fit well from the day I put it on. It is easy to put on with the helpful loop on the back of he boot. Very good none skid surface on the sole of the boot

Footbed was relatively comfortable but the upper was where the problems were. The leather is very stiff (and darker than the photos for Chestnut). They cut into the underside of my ankle bone on the outside. I have flatter/fallen arches and the upper was tight/rubbed across my medial instep and the inner side of my foot. Also they made my 8.5 size foot look HUGE. I need new non-slip shoes for waitressing and I prefer brown slip-ons, which is why I tried these, I really wish the Keen utilitarian shoes came in colors other than black. The Timberland sole seemed great, stable and grippy but I won't know in practice because I am sending these back, I'm not willing to get blisters and raw spots while on my feet for 9 hour shifts during a break-in period.

This boot has all the features I need in a work boot for gardening, mowing, etc. on our farm. It replaces a beloved pair of Ariat boots that no longer accommodated my full orthotic inserts. When I tried to find new Ariats, I could not find the right size. These Timberlands will be fine if I can get used to one little uncomfortable place near my right heel. Otherwise I'd give them 5 stars.

Very nice looking shoe, and somewhat comfy, but after just a few minutes, my troublesome left foot began to hurt in places I've never had it bother me before. Then the sizing runs big. I usually wear an 11 or 10.5 and read the reviews about it running big. But there were no 10.5's available, everything else, but not that, of course. I chanced it and indeed it was just a half size too loose. Too bad, as I really like the looks of the shoe, the price not so much.

Not sure what happened, but these boots were quite uncomfortable from the moment I stepped into them. Length and width were good, but just a weird, unstable feel, and worse, an obvious protruding hard piece somewhere along the tongue that left a red spot on my foot just after 5 minutes walking up and down the hallway! I spend 12 hrs a day on my feet, and unless they feel good immediately, forget it. I have owned other styles by timberland, so maybe I just got a bunk pair.

Bought these boots for all around work at a brewery and I have to say I am highly satisfied. I work for a brand new brewery, which means I use these boots for long hours and a variety of tasks. Moving kegs, cleaning, working the tasting room, ladders, driving forklift and delivery vehicle, and pretty much anything you can imagine. The most impressive feature of these boots (to me) is their waterproof capabilities. I battled toenail fungus for several years after working another wet job, and needless to say I did not want to go down that road again, so keeping my feet dry was of utmost importance. If you are not familiar with brewery work, virtually every task involves some form of liquid, beer, chemicals (acid sanitizers, caustic cleaners, etc.), hot water, and various mixtures of yeast/hop trub. These boots, being on the floor and gravity doing what it does, are constantly in liquid and have held up amazingly. I do not hesitate to blast them with a hose several times a day to clean them up and my feet haven't felt a drop of liquid. Awesome. I have not slipped, except on spent grain, which is about as slick as ice, so I would put the non-slip soles at 9/10. There are also quite comfortable, I'm a big dude, 6'7" 350 size 14 boot, and 10+ hour days on concrete sloped floors are going to be tough on my feet. I'm not saying when I get home my feet feel 100%, but the next morning I feel perfectly fine and my feet are refreshed and ready to work. They did take a little while to break in, but they were still very comfortable right out of the box. They look pretty bad ass too, tough, not fancy, utilitarian but not military, in other words... Beasty. My only complaint is the upper lace hooks. Maybe my ankles aren't fat enough, but when I lace them up tight, the hooks tend to rotate in towards the tongue and the laces slip off the hook. HOWEVER!!! The hooks also have a traditional closed hole for the laces immediately behind them, which I have been using with no complaints. I don't need the hooks, so this is really a minor complaint. Also, it states above that the hardware is metal, only partially true, the upper hook/lace holes are plastic, secured with metal. Great boots, highly recommended.

Bought these after a recommendation from a coworker. They are awesome! My 12 hour nursing shifts are easy on my feet. Much lighter than Danskos. Love them!

Very comfortable and durable boot. Wear them to conduct inspections in environments ranging from job sites to factories to trucking docks in all sorts of weather. Recommended indeed.

Very comfortable, but there is NO "abrasion resistance." After two wears (non-construction related) the toe box was abraded and I had to treat with mink oil.

Ordered these boots for my husband that needed well made boots with steel toes for work. The fit was right-on and the comfort was perfect. He did not need to break these boots in at all - wears them every day and they still look & feel great. No sore feet at the end of the day.

I love these. I am on my feet all day, climbing ladders, crawling in attics and under houses and these boots hold up well. The mesh in the vents on the sides does fray a little but overall they are very good boots. I would recommend them especially if you are on your feet for eight hours or more.

Really good - I have had these for about 2 years now, and they have been perfect for a weekend warrior/DIY type like me.Very comfortable, light weight and have held up very well so far. I do a lot of weekend projects, some with stone or brick, so I like the steel toe. For a weekender like me, these have been perfect.
