I love these boots! I am difficult to fit with high instep and wide foot and fully expected to be disappointed with "mail order" shoes again, but these are WONDERFUL. I took a 45-minute hike the first day I put them on, and I've never had one issue with comfort or durability. They are sturdy but soft and comfy too.
I was looking for a good shoe to wear to work that wouldn't put pressure on the ball of my foot. These shoes are so comfortable! They feel like walking on a supportive cushion!

The elastic on the buckle went out after wearing the shoes 3 times. I am returning them. Otherwise they are comfortable, good foot bed, attractive color. Broken after 3 wears.
These are not the best looking shoes, but they are incredibly comfortable. I work as a flight attendant and I am loving them. As other people has written here, no need to break them in; out of the box and on your feet and you are ready to go. First time ordering through Zappos and the experience has been fantastic.
Honestly, these are the best boots I have ever owned in my life. I wear them every work day and have long walks to my train and office and feel absolutely comfortable in them. I never have to worry about weather (except insane amounts of snow which would be a pain for any shoe). The steel toe is so good and unobtrusive, I've never felt it (even though I have wide feet - size 13) and I've bumped my toes on several occasions and never noticed it. Also these shoes are built to last because somehow walking in NYC pretty much kills any other boot, walking shoe, or cross trainer I've ever used as my mainstay work shoes. The soles of these Timberland Pro Titans must be made of sci-fi material because they barely show any wear out with the insane amount of walking I do in the city! Best boots ever, just as comfortable to walk in as my Asics cross trainers day-to-day. I can't recommend these strongly enough!
Sturdy, sizing perfect, just what my husband needed to work on his feet all day in a slippery restaurant setting!
I've had these boots for almost 2 years now; they are very durable. I have some Sorel boots I use for manual labor/work, so I just use these for inclement weather, casual wear. They are slightly heavy and sometimes feel like elevator shoes, given the huge lift; however, I feel invincible with these bad boys on. I can kick and crush anything in my way! ;p

I have a very wide foot and a high instep (top of foot). It is not easy to find shoes that accommodate both. These shoes fit fine! I got them in red and call them my ruby slippers!I love Zappos as I can easily send shoes back if I need to. Thank you Zappos!
I am returning these shoes as they are the most uncomfortable shoes I have tried! I do not like the material used in making the shoe.

Awesome hot weather boot! Super comfortable. I hate boots and the first day I owned them I kicked a full work day in the butt! It was 85 degrees and my feet got warm, but never got hot to the point where I must take my boots off. That is a first for me! The safety toe is well designed and doesn't interfere with my wide foot. These run a bit narrow.
Although this is a safety shoe, I didn't buy it for that. I bought it because it's just the style I like - chunky, simple, cool / cute, slip-on with square toe. Given the other reviews, I was surprised that I needed to go UP 1/2 a size. I'm normally a 7-1/2 wide / 8 regular, so I got these in an 8 (wide not in stock). Since the reviews said these run wide, thought I would have plenty of room, but my toe kept hitting the front when walking (though felt like the right size when just standing). Got the 8-1/2 in no time (of course - yay Zappos!), and they feel much better. The regular width is fine for my slightly wide feet, but I'd be curious to try them in the wide to see if it makes them look a little chunkier (which I like). The regulars are only somewhat chunky - just enough if you like that look, but not too much if you don't. As for comfort, I haven't worn them for very long, but so far so good. Decent arch support, roomy toe box, and fairly light (especially for a safety shoe). I don't even notice the alloy toe. The padding around the opening bothers the top of my foot a little, but I think that's just because I'm not used to it yet. I have a bunion on one foot, so sometimes it hurts when I bend my big toe. Because the front of these shoes curve up slightly, it seemed to exacerbate that at first, but after a while it actually seemed to be helping (like physical therapy, no pain no gain). These look great with jeans, but are nice enough for dress casual as well. Will definitely get another pair when these wear out. Hope they don't stop making them!
This is my second pair of Renovas and third pair of Timberland Pros. I love them! I travel a lot for business and these go perfectly through the TSA line, trudging through the airport all day, and in and out of meetings. I can wear them for a long day without blisters or sore feet, and they're comfortable enough to wear walking around cities after hours. Highly recommend!
When I received my boots I liked them. They are comfortable and as a UPS driver, I need that but after only a month and a half of getting in and out of a truck the soles cracked and now there is a big chunk of it hanging off the bottom of my shoe. I paid too much money to only last a couple of months. Not happy! I hope they fix this problem!
Excellent comfort out of the box - no break-in period. I love all the wiggle room in the toe. Good traction. I wear a thin compression sock and they do seem a half size too big; I am returning my size 6 for a 5.5.
Excellent boot, it has exceeded my expectations and does not scuff or get dark spots on leather like other boots. Zappos shipped it next day and service was excellent.

Shoe edges are a little rough. Wish it came in 10.5. Insole not removable, can't use orthotic. Great toe box.
I have had these for a little over a month and so far I have no complaints. They are very comfortable. The waterproof leather quality on these boots is far superior to the leather quality of other boots, such as the Magnum Viper boots that I had previously owned. These boots actually give you an extra half a inch in height because of the bottom.
I have moderate to severe discomfort in the arch and bunion area and these feel just right! Like a foot massage with every step. My friend happens to have bought a pair for the purpose of their waterproofing - I have yet to test them on a rainy day. I have recommended this shoe to two others who have similar foot problems, but the style isn't for everyone. Here in NY we have to walk blocks and blocks every day as a matter of course, and style is often superseded by comfort.
It took me a long time to find a pair of work boots that were comfortable enough to drive in (I drive a stick shift car and I've gotten blisters right above my heel from using the clutch). These are awesome work boots, a little snug with the steel toes so go a half size larger than your normal size. These boots can conquer anything you need them to.
I purchased these shoes and it was a bad idea. My feet hurt everytime I wear them. I bought gel inserts and it didn't help. I ended up with New Balance tennis shoes, a much better choice. Customer service was great!
