True to fit, sturdy, and incredibly comfortable...these boots were made for heavy duty work. Unfortunately, these boots do not go well with my strong desire to be lazy, as they nearly taunt me to pull all-nighter home improvement projects!

I work in the restaurant industry, so I was looking for a cute, business attire type slip resistant shoe. Normally I purchase Shoes For Crews, but I wanted something different this time. I like the height of the heel on this shoe, but I think because of the cushion and pads inside the shoe, they run .5 smaller than size. I normally wear 7.5, but these are tight and the material is pretty stiff so so far after wearing them 3 times, still have not broken them in.

Very disappointed! I was always loyal customer of zappos.com. In December 20011 I order two pair of work boots from Zappos. Each of them cost a lot. One of them I have to return because they did fit right. I was ready to order another one but before a place order I check those work boots on amazon.com. I was shocked! Same boots for less and not for retail. What a rip off from Zappos. Customers by aware and always check the price somewhere else before you place order with Zappos. Very disappointed!

I bought these boots for my husband's birthday and he loves them. At first he was scared that they would take a while to break in, but they did not take any time at all. They are very comfortable and sturdy. I cannot wait for the snow to use them in the elements! The only thing is that that they are not the most attractive boots on the market, but that is not why you buy boots like this, is it?

Comfortable shoe once broken in. It's rough on your toes until they are though.

I'm a hairstylist so I'm on my feet all day. After wearing these shoes I would come home and not have achy feet for the first time in years! I was happy with my purchase. The only thing I would change is that the soles make a squeaking sound whenever I walk.

As others have reported, run about a half size large, so take that into account. Seem like a solid boot and they work well around here in the winter which tends to be cold, wet, and sloppy.

I am a true size 11 and the 11 - 11.5 shoe was about 1/2 inch too big. The shoe was comfortable but I would prefer that the fit was more snug.

This is a great boot. They're very comfortable and well made. And as always Zappos makes you say wow.

Strangely kind of good and kind of bad. I kept them but really thought about returning them. Timberland has a 30 day return policy even if you wear them. The insoles slide around and one of the shoes stretched out more than the other. I had to cut down one of the insoles because it seemed too small for the shoe? They are comfortable to stand and walk in. The style is good and the strap/button looks great with jeans.

Good boot. All that good to say had been said above. What I did not like was they were tough to break in; although when broken in they are very comfortable. Another problem for me was the soles had poor traction on wet surfaces.

Love them. Can be dressed down or dressed up. Size runs a little small (front to back). I measured my shoe size using suggestions on several websites and measured a size 9 which most of my dress shoes are, if I was in a local store trying them on I probably would have purchased a 1/2 size bigger. I was expecting to wear them with dress socks and I have to wear some sort of nylons. but not that big of a deal for me. I have wide feet so I ordered the wide. I have been wearing them for 3 weeks now, and the toes are still tight-may have to get them professionally stretched. Over all they are super comfy. Break in period was not too bad. I usually get at least 1 blister...surprisingly not with these. additionally, I have high arches and like support and have not been able to find good shoes. these have not made my plantar fascia flair up yet, i have to do quite a bit of walking around. I work in a hospital. I would love to see this style in different patterns and colors!

I had high hopes for these, since they were comfy in my apartment. They're well made, sturdy, good-looking and relatively light. Unfortunately, once I wore them outside I really felt their narrowness. Thought they might stretch, but no such luck. These run a bit long. If you take a wide, as I normally do, medium won't cut it, despite the roomy, rounded toe box. Too bad they don't make a wide.

I just was so surprised about these boots! I bought to work, and they are awesome and very comfortable! I definitely recommend this product...very happy!

Love these Timberland shoes! The fit is true to size, giving you ample room in the toe box for the average foot. I wore these right out of the box for a 12+ hour shift with no breaking in needed. As a nurse, I am always on the lookout for quality construction in a shoe but at the same time comfort is an absolute must! These fit the bill perfectly. They also have a lower heel height and aren't as heavy as Dansko's. I want another pair!

After accepting a position with a company that requires all employee's to wear safey shoes (I'm in IT), I was a little worried about what shoe to get, working in an office setting where I am required to walk a lot during the day, I wanted something that was not too heavy, and comfortable. The fist shoe I purchased was not it, however when I exchanged them for this shoe I was extremely happy! They fit very well, they are not too heavy and they look good. Overall I am very happy with this shoe, as I am sure you will be too!

These shoes are amazing! They feel great... I definitely recommend these shoes, they are great. They are the first shoe I did not have to buy insoles for and I used to buy them for every pair so with that said I will buy again when needed... and shipping was also really good, free shipping and I had them with in 3 days of ordering...

I didn't care for these shoes. The pleather on the steel toe is wearing our fast. It is sensitive to getting nicked. The shoe lace design doesn't give you a very tight hold. Wouldn't buy again.

These are comfortable right out of the box, there was no break in needed, and they're a great fit. They offer good arch support and are fairly light for a steel-toe shoe. This is an excellent shoe for weekend warriors like myself. Zappos is excellent as always.

My Husband loved these in look and feel to my surprise as I felt they looked flimsy compared to his Old Havana Joe's. Highly recommended based on this.
