Wow - Love this boot. Was looking for a boot in this style for several years before I came across this on-line. Was concerned about purchasing without trying it on but needn't be. Extremely light and comfortable...like walking on pillows. Fits a 1/2 size bigger than other boots I’ve owned. An insole solved that.

My husband loves these boots - I bought these boots for my husband for Christmas and he loves them. He says they are so comfortable like he's had them for years. A Nice Boot But Not As Advertised - I am a boot person--always in search of the "perfect" boot (I probably have 6+ pairs). The Timberland Earthkeepers (dark brown) is a good looking, comfortable boot that can be worn even with fairly dressy clothes. However, to get a good fit, I had to order a 10 rather than my normal 10.5 and wonder now if a 9.5 would have been even better. Also, the medium is rather wide and requires a heavy sock. My main complaint is that the boot is not waterproof as advertised. After less than 30" in the rain, the top of my sock was damp. This is very disappointing.

The boots are extremely comfortable; however the leather quality is not as I had hoped. The shoes wrinkle and scuff easily. For the price I had purchased it for, I expected the leather to be better.

Nice Boots - Very comfy right out of the box. Don't look quite as cool in person as the image online, I think because the stitching contrasts more in the photo but is the same color brown as the leather in reality.

Comfortable - My wife gave me these boots for x-mas. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I wear a size 12M and could have got by with an 11 1/2M. They are also a bit wide but fine with a thick sock. There is no need to break them in as they are perfect right out of the box. Great with jeans in all types of weather. I have not really tested the waterproof claim, other than walking several miles through the snow & there was no issue with dampness going through the leather. These boots are nice looking and well worth the money.

Great Boots - These are great boots - very comfortable right out of the box (no break-in needed), seem to be well made and are a pleasure to walk in. The third time I wore them I walked around a trade show all day long (if you've ever done this you know what a toll it can take on your feet, back, etc.) and I felt great the whole day. I would certainly buy another pair.

Very comfortable - One of those rare pairs of boots that require no break in. Very comfortable the first time on the feet. Very similar to Timberland Pro series in terms of fit at a significantly reduced weight.

Brands I'd also recommend: Timberland classic boots.

Good light weight work boot - Definitely a 1/2 to 1 size smaller than you would normally wear (1/2 was good for me).Very comfortable, light weight. Eco-friendly!

Nice! This is a nice new take on a traditional work boot look. This boot has a wide comfortable last that may be a bit roomy for a narrower foot. The darker greasy brown leather was my favorite color. The boot fits large. I sized down a full size. I wear an 11 Nike running shoe and bought this boot in a 10 after trying them on locally. The boot is pretty light weight and the sole is thinner than a traditional work boot.

Another great pair to add to the collection - The boots are slightly darker than pictured. There's a small bit of stitching on the inside of the tongue that scratches my skin if I'm not wearing long socks. Besides that, these serve its purpose in function and fashion.

Great Boots! Very comfortable right out of the box and truly waterproof. I have walked through snow and deep standing water and my feet remained warm and dry. I would highly recommend these boots.

Nice looking, uncomfortable, not an all-day boot. First let me say the service by Zappos has been incredible! This boot was disappointing. While good looking, it lacked padding, especially in the tongue. Didn't seem very durable. Certainly not a work boot for someone on their feet all day. Felt like 1930's technology in a modern boot. A classic look, but not the Timberland comfort I have had in the past. I sent these back. Felt a WHOLE size larger than marked!

Great Timberland Boots - These are very comfortable, well built, great looking boots built with a bit of social consciousness in mind. I ordered a half size smaller based on other reviews and it was right on. In other words, they run big. All in all a great boot and worth the price.

Nice Boots! Excellent, fast service as always. Anyone looking to purchase a new pair of shoes should stop here. These boots are really comfortable. I have always stayed with Born because of comfort, but the Earthkeepers have my old boots beat. I ordered a half size smaller per previous reviews and I couldn't be happier with the size. Once again, I'm a fan of Zappos!

Buy them. Initially, I ordered these shoe at size 11 (I'm typically between a size 11 & 11.5) and had to return them because they were much too large. I went to the local mall, tried a pair of size 10s on and returned to Zappos to make a second order. If you order these shoes, please order a full size smaller or you'll be wasting your time. I purchased these boots for a motorcycles riding class that required over-the-ankle boots and they were a perfect match, and they have a semi-casual look that you can pull off in a business-casual workplace. The soles of the shoe are a little soft, which is nice for a quiet stride in hallways, etc. but they may need to be replaced sometime down the road. One more note: These boots are not necessarily work boots - more like light-work boots. I like them.
